Britney Spears Has the Best Album of the Year

Britney Spears rocks out a pair of Paige “Oakland” jeans in coal as she accompanies her father, Jamie Spears, to the doctor’s office on Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles.

The Womanizer songbird just won Best Album of the Year Award during the MTV Europe Awards today in Liverpool, England. She wasn’t in attendance for the awards, but did have a thank you speech ready. Watch her acceptance speech here. Britney also just won the award for Best Act.

Also according to BMGjapan.com, “Amnesia” is set to be a second bonus track after “Radar,” on Britney’s upcoming album, Circus.

Ha! Ha! Is that a joke? I guess this is why MTV has lost so much respect lately. It’s the pity vote. She looks 45. Is built like a football player and IS mentally ill. I guess pity can get you anywhere. I bet the loonies who voted–not fans, are like Perez Hilton.

Lmao, what has happened to MTV. Remember when the original channel used to actually play music videos? Now they play rubbish like The Hills and Laguna whatever it’s name is. Britney herself, used to be an entertaining artist. Her new songs are awful, though. I guess it goes with this generation, though.

How do you win “best act” when your only performance for the album was the disasterous MTV video music award performance? Seems a bit fixed to me.
