OlderTaylor Swift: Joe Jonas Dumped Me Over 27-Second Phone Call
Taylor Swift confirms she was dumped by Joe Jonas over the phone in a record 27-second call in October.
Ellen DeGeneres says on her talk show (airing Nov. 11), “He broke up with you on the phone? That’s not right.”
Taylor responds; “It’s all right - I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 27 seconds when I was 18.”
Ellen was shocked by Taylor’s honesty, saying, “No, you did not. Aw, snap!”
Taylor continued, “I’m sorry. I had to. [The split] was, like, a record, I think, for how quick. I looked at the call log - it was like 27 seconds. That’s got to be a record.”
When Ellen asks Taylor if she’d date Joe’s brothers, Kevin or Nick, she said, “Oh my gosh! Probably not!”
Taylor also took to her MySpace Celebrity page to dispel pregnancy hearsay: “I read a very creative rumor this morning saying I’m pregnant, which is the most IMPOSSIBLE thing on the planet. Take my word for it. Impossible.”

as i remember wasnt he in a different country when the breakup happened?? so im sure the only way he could do it was over the phone not like he is gonna fly all the way back to the states to breakup with Taylor. I dont have anything against Taylor she is very talented.

I love Taylor & Jonas Brothers. I find it hilarious when she says stuff about Joe. And I love the Jonas Brothers, I’ve been a fan for 2 1/2 years now, so I think it’s completely okay I can laugh about it. Everybody’s saying that Joe isn’t classy, but how classy is it to go around telling a whole bunch of celebrity sources what happened? I mean, sure Taylor, maybe breaking up that way wasn’t the classiest thing to do, but don’t make it worse by telling a whole bunch of people and making them think poorly of Joe. Besides, Joe is probably one of the busiest teens on the planet, so he probably didn’t have a way to get to Taylor and didn’t have alot of time to break up with her. I still am madly in love with Joe and nothing haters say will make me stop.
