Kate Winslet’s Cell Phone Walk And Talk
Kate Winslet is spotted walking and talking on her cellphone while out walking in the meatpacking district of New York City on Wednesday.
The 33-year-old actress is reportedly livid over tabloid reports that the photos of her in the December issue of Vanity Fair were airbrushed and altered to make her look thinner.
“Kate is furious at suggestions that her body has been airbrushed,” Kate’s rep told People.
“She is in terrific shape and what you see is how she looks or she would never have agreed to pose for those shots,” her rep added.

I’m sorry, yes she’s pretty on these pics but i absolutely don’t recognize her on the cover of Vanity Fair, it’s like 2 different persons and make up can’t make that much of a difference.

who does she think she´s fooling? every picture in every magazine gets airbrushed and retouched and all those things. that’s the way it goes. i saw those pictures of her and i really don’t believe her ass looks like that in reality. her face was probably not altered afterwards but come on…every woman has a little cottage cheese. atleast if she’s in her thirties, has been pregnant and is of normal weight. kate’s beautiful as she is but come on…those photos were altered just like all of them are! just keepin’ it real
Yeah, I agree w/#5. Plus, does a celebrity even have the power to tell a magazine NOT to airbrush them? I mean, its the magazine’s call, right? All cover shots look a little weird..if you look closely you can tell they’ve been altered. I think it makes her look silly & insecure to complain about a rumor like that.
I find it hilarious that she says that is all her and no airbrushing at all in the Vanity Fair pics.. I mean yes she is lovely but not absolutely stunning like she looked in them and not to mention flawless with a fantastic body..
I think she’s being honest about the airbrushing-because that was someone else’s body!

Yes #5 and #6… I think she is beautiful without air-brushing.. However, those photos clearly does not look like her!! I mean, those THIN THIN legs, thighs… seriously?! Just not right
c’mon people it’s not airbrush…if people are gonna complain it’s gonna be that vanity fair didn’t portray her normal self. if anyone knows photography, it’s the combination of angles of the camera and heavy makeup. vanity fair does this with all celebrities.
in the photos she looks like a size 3-4; in real life she’s a 12. they pinched her waist, reduced her but-t and made her ’smile with her eyes’ (ie. browlift).
she wishes she looked like the pic. i mean she’s never looked that good in a movie for pete’s sake!

She’s very talented and naturally beautiful,but those pictures do not looks like her. In the pics, she looks very thin, airbrushed, and her face looks totally different.
I too think she was airbrushed in Vanity Fair. I mean everyone is in every magazine! Especially Vanity Fair since the photoshoot was more fashion-y. They altered skin tone. I also think they airbrushd her body but not to a HUGE amount, because lighting and posing can really make someone look slimmer. The clothes and type of shot play a part as well - a good photographer knows how to hide the “bad” things and make you look better. So I think her body was airbrushed but not to a huge extent because there are other aspects. But her face - yeah, that was airbrushed alot. All we have to do is compare her face in the magazine to her face right here in those candids. It’s fuller in real life.
Anyway! Back to the main topic of this - the candids. She looks beautiful….now THAT is Kate! =)
She looks different here in these candids, her body is not as thin as she had been in the vanity fair pics, a contrast , i didn’t recognized her at all, sorry but that an airbrushing to death, why is she complaining about that and giving it such importance, she just prooves that she is one superficial hollyweird who is obsessed about her look, i find this shallow and low from her.
I agree with Stella, as a professional photographer i can tell you that you can do wonders with the right angle and lighting! Photoshop isn’t always the tool, and i can’t see what the fuss is all about VF… it wasn’t THAT fake people!
like her as an actress but have to say she’s so stupid for thinking she’ll do a mag photo shoot and NOT BE AIRBRUSHED?!! its what happens! you take pics and get airbrushed to look better!
as good an actress kate is she is just average looking with an average body, not many would be drawn to that magazine!

Whoa! Of course the pics were “airbrushed”. No one’s skin is that flawless. What Kate & her rep were objecting to is the notion that they have been “altered” ie: REDUCED the size of her butt etc. She’s had this problem before.
But c’mon “Boo” #12…no way in hell she’s a size 12. She may be a six. As for the size of her behind, it’s a visual trick. The dark fur is partially covering it, making it look smaller.
But all in all…she looks smashing!

Eh boo#12,there is no way in hell that kate is a 12 and to say that is ignorant and makes you seem ignorant too. As for the shots,yeah I presume there were some touchups but seen as all that controversy with GQ I highly doubt VF would dare to photoshop all over,but to a certain extent. They’d know how Kate would react. And I’d think alot of it is to do with angles and lighting,as alot of her is partially hidden like her bum.
kate is realy kate. i much like kate, she is very pretty and talented. she preserve for too much Award. she playd roll specially in Titanic, which is my hearth beating down & up. I m really fan of kate. i want to talk her. if some body give me cell no i will be very think ful for this kindness.
