Leo DiCaprio Gives Sex Symbol Status To Zac Efron

`that`s why it`s great that Zac has a very wide fan base, instead of just teens.` You have got to be kidding me!!!
I think it`s ridiculous to compare them, Leo was a stunning actor before Titanic and the `sex symbol` era ( Oscar nod @ 18 ). I have a hard time thinking of this Zac guy as a serious actor. Maybe he`ll prove himself later on but now this whole HSM thing is just overrated and annoying.

Forget about Zac Leo is either cheating on Bar or they split again for the gazillionth time! Leo was seen partying with FOUR leggy ladies in a London nigtclub who he invited back to his hotel room at 4:00 in the morning!

And the night before in Rome Leo was seen at an Italian restaurant cozying up and giving a kiss to a pretty Italian lady and he was photographed in the act. Either Bar is going to be pissed or she’s crying a river because Leo dumped her again! I hope Leo dumped Bar but I won’t hold my breath because Leo just can’t seem to say goodbye to the annoying Bar.

it is well known that leo was a bar hopping party animal around when he was zac’s age, so don’t discount that. sure its not “teen idol” behavior but he certainly hasn’t always been the refined, well spoken, environmentally aware human being that he is now.

titanic was a blockbuster movie and it certainly catapulted both he and kate winslet to fame. but seriously, both of their acting jobs in that movie were mediocre at best. nothing compared to what they both are capable of now. and does anyone remember that disaster of a movie called “the beach?” don’t paint him with this midas touch brush. he has definitely worked his way up to where he is now. if it weren’t for martin scorcese being completely infatuated with dicaprio, he wouldn’t be where he is today.

i think he is a great actor but he has gotten some lucky casting breaks over the years.

i’ve always liked him, and he has matured into something special.

zac has that potential as well i believe. only time will tell.

even though Zac isn’t an A-List Actor, he will become one. Just wait and see. I mean, 17 Again looks really good already !!

and just because someone gets an oscar nod at a young age, or even captures an oscar at a young age, doesn’t mean they are suddenly A list and stay there. good lord. look at nicole kidman. at one instant she takes a totally astounding turn as virginia wolfe in “the hours” and then cranks out pieces of crap like “stepford wives” and “the invasion.” what the heck was she thinking with those movies.

so, everyone. step back and give zac a chance and see what happens if he’s given a variety of roles. i think many of you will be pleasantly suprised at what he will offer comedically opposite leslie mann in “17 again.” then, if we’re lucky enough to have a studio pick up “me and orson welles” you will see a different side to him yet. after that, i am crossing my fingers that an interesting director will give him a meaty, edgy role that he can chew on and show us what he’s made of. because i’m positive that he’ll be here for the long haul.

wouldn’t it have been a shame if we had all written leo off just from his performance in “growing pains”???

He started with High School Musical which is no. 1 movie in the planet,(you gotta start with something), but he continues it with movies that are going to be great. Esspecially Me & Orson Welles. (not Disney)
So don’t say Zac is a little girl or he ,is bla bla… Everyone bored enough to say that, probably doesn’t have a life to be happy with. So they’re come here and spit on Zac Efron that is young talented actor who started his carriere young and he needs to improve his acting skills, with every movie he improves it, so don’t spit on young and talented actors just because you don’t have a life.

As if Zac wants to be a sex symbol anyway. He’s always talked about fame as if it was a fleeting thing and that the work is the most important thing to him. And he has never been anything but respectful of Leonardo.

Respect has to go both ways, pal. At least act like you deserve it.

love them both but disagree with people who say zac isn’t a good actor .. he is a really good actory! … plus, and no offence to Leo, i agree with #29 … zac is a little less of a total player than leo was at his age … leo is an absolutely awesome actor and cool guy too… i think its time they do a movie together!
