Leo DiCaprio Gives Sex Symbol Status To Zac Efron
Leonardo DiCaprio arrives at the Vue Leicester Square for the Body of Lies premiere in London on Thursday evening.
The 33-year-old actor recently revealed to Fox News that he is thrilled to have shed the sex symbol status of his younger days. “I look at young Zac Efron and think ‘Go get it pal, leave me in peace.’ I was never happy with the teen idol tag at all –-never wanted to be a sex symbol or all that stuff –-it was the work that appealed to me. Really nothing else.”
Leo also added that he has “total respect for how young stars like Zac handle it all. Really total respect.”
UPDATE: FOX apparently fabricated Leo’s quotes. Horrible! The entire entry was removed from the FOX website.

ihb, I was merely saying it’s good to have a wide fan base. I was NOT comparing their acting skills. Leo had great success early. But Zac is on his way, because he has determination and a desire to grow in his skills. THAT will carry him far.

Worldwide money of HSM 3 is maybe not as high as in America, but it’s incredibly high as well. And if you want to know, I’ve known quite a lot other Zac and HSM fans who are NOT from the US. I’m not from the US myself and there’s also a lot of my real life friends who love him as well. He is not only famous in the US, deal with it.
I’m not someone to scream about Leo, but he looks nice :) I hope Zac is happy that Leo said this about him. It seems like Zac worships Leo, lol. And maybe it sounded a little sarcastic what he said, I think he meant it in a good way.

Since when is Leonardo ever been considered as a “Sex Symbol”? The man has barely made any movies. I mean he made the “Titantic” which made alot of people consider him as a “Sex Symbol” but after that movie he was only around for a few films. He hasn’t been in the lime light in lord knows when. Now he has made a movie and all of a sudden he considers himself the “IT”… You haven’t even proven you can act again yet Leonardo. Zack has been making movie after movie and continues to make them. Try putting out some movies.
