Entertainment Weekly’s Twilight Cover #2
Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson grace the second cover of Entertainment Weekly.
Inside the magazine, author Stephenie Meyer talks about her skepticism over Robert, who plays lead vampire Edward Cullen: “I asked the producer, ‘Is Rob ready for this? Have you guys prepped him? Is he ready to be the It Guy?’ I don’t think he really is.”
Director Catherine Hardwicke mentioned that they had to rework certain parts of the movie for actress Kristen Stewart: “We had to rewrite a lot of scenes, because Kristen will not say something if she doesn’t feel good about it.”
Another juicy quote from inside: “More than once, Pattinson was overheard asking Stewart to marry him. The actress, who’s had the same boyfriend since she was 16, just shrugged him off.” Poor Robert. Rejected!!!
Check back soon for the third cover!

Stephenie Meyers is an a ss. I can’t wait until it is discovered she is a
fraud. Her books are not good at all. She keeps on repeating scenarios in every book!
Asking if Rob is ready to be It guy? Give me a break.
Her Mormon a ss makes me want to vomit!!!!
They really look like siblings in that picture. Mainly because of eyes and hair color but everything else looks fairly similar too.
postwatcher: you don’t understand what she meant about him being the it guy. SM was right–is robert really ready to be completely saturated by fan hysteria? He seems a little beside himself, and not completely ready for all this attention. SM was completely right and it wasn’t a slight on Robert at all—it’s a compliment that he’s so unassuming and not overly affected by the desire for celebrity.
And what does her being mormon have anything to do with it? Geez.
weird…they look more like siblings in the cover then a couple.
still, they’re both very good looking and probably would’ve made a cute couple :)
of course rob was joking about asking her to marry hi, .lol.
she seems nice tough even if she comes off like shy or bitchy sometimes…
They are a match made in heaven and eventhough it’s just for the movies they look way to perfect together. Hopefully one day…
ew wtf @ that fat chick about to faint in the beginning.
how ridiculous.
i think he was drunk
“We had to rewrite a lot of scenes, because Kristen will not say something if she doesn’t feel good about it.”
stubborn.really.i mean… those lines!? duh that what makes twilight the best! hah! but i dont know… just my opinion.still love kristen though haha
i absolutley ah-dore stephanie meyers books, and am temporarily waiting to start Breaking Dawn. i am a huge fan of both Kristen and Robert, and was extremley pleased when i learned the two would play Edward and Bella. Of the marriage thing, they both insist it is a joke Kristen told E! news she wasnt going to say anything against what he did, and he said it was untrue…
yeah. it’s kind of funny how when people first heard that Robert Pattinson was playing Edward, mostly people hated him. However, now in all his sexy s glory people absolutely love him. And on the whole asking her to marry him, did you people happen to read the book? It’s called rehearsal, people actually do that, they try to connect to the character so that they can play it and so that it looks better. It’s a phrase known as acting.
you know…..if kristen doesn’t want rob……….. i’ll take him ;D
rawr♥
Rob wasn’t serious he was just joking around so he really wasn’t rejected.
