OlderSpectacular! - “Everything Can Change”
Popstar! has posted the very first music video from the much-anticipated Nickelodeon TV movie, Spectacular!
The movie features Nolan Gerard Funk as rocker Nikko and Tammin Sursok as his sweet love interest Courtney. Spectacular! is about a high school choir that’s fading in popularity, as it continues to lose most of its’ members one by one. A wannabe rock singer, Nikko, is convinced to join the choir by Courtney, in hopes of winning the upcoming competition and cash prize.

All those movies had different plots and characters, don’t don’t even look alike.
but don’t blame the act of a movie, just cuz it might seem similar to others.
WHICH this one doesn’t.
TOTALLY DIFFERENT
A skool choir? winning money/ prizes? a rock star? becoming more popular? you don’t see that every day.
MORE of the life of regular skool kids..who’s talents are turning famous- losing friends, one to the next.
this isn’t a broad way musical you know :S SPECTACULAR is a MOVIE.
The music is pretty catchy..and so far fetched …
The girl’s voice is so beautiful & strong ^^
the guy’s voice is wow..plus he looks hot :D

The actors/ actresses may seem like love interest. taken place at skool. Don’t blame the writers, for creating a movie, that’s talent is gonna be remembered and inspired by the other movies that was a legend =S

yeah no kidding, since hsm became such a huge phenomenon, everyone’s started doing musicals hoping to catch some fame, they’d have to wait another 5 years. Other than that I love nickelodean so yeah, btw zashley4ever, i hate ur choice in couple but I respect you for not being afraid to express your own opinion, so yeah, sorry to get all mushy on you.
Okay, so it’s Sister Act 2? This has been done….and way before HSM….

The song is great! Not so looking forward to the movie itself, but I’m sure the soundtrack will be good if all songs are like this.

omgsh..i havent seen tammin in so long..i used to watch her when she was on tv back here in australia..wow..shes grown..she was pretty good on home and away and i liked her song whatever will be..
Tammin is the sh*t!! She doesn’t come across as some flooze like some ’startlets’ these days. I loved her on home and away…untill her character got annoying

Audrina, I highly doubt it was Vanessa who stole the song. I think Tammin looks like a lovely girl, but let’s face it. The PREMISE of this movie, and we’re not knocking Tammin, is a little too familiar, and IS trying to be like HSM. Just saying.

Let’s be honest here, while I agree there are differences in the plot, this movie like “American Mall” on MTV (which had the same producers as the “HSM” francise) is an attempt to create an “HSM” type francise for Nickelodeonl.
“Spectacular” may very well be an entertaining movie and I expect it will do well in terms of ratings. But if Nickelodeon expects to “create” a phenomanon on the order of “HSM” then I think they will fall short. “High School Musical” wasn’t meant to be anything more then just another Disney Channel original movie. But it touched on something in our culture and became something else entirely. Those things just happen and can’t really be created.
Looks lame - another High School Musical. But the producer on this never seems to have any original ideas - she is also the magic behind One the Road with Missy Elliot - there was a winner

You know what, Audrina, bug off. It’s not illegal to sing over a song, and it’s not illegal to take another song and sing it. Singers do it all the time, like Mandy Moore to Rihanna. And, if there’s anyone to blame for that, it’s her song manager, because he’s the guy that chooses the songs in the end. Don’t bug Vanessa. She’s awesome.
And I think you’re making a very hasty generalisation when you say that Americans are dumb. Reflect on that, because I don’t think we have a right to judge people’s intellect when all we see is the surface. When it comes to celebrities, we see only their glam. You don’t go into their personal life, and that’s supposed to stay that way. Don’t judge. If I wanted to judge you from what you’ve said on this forum, which is very little information to support my accusation, you’re not a very nice person. And you have some extreme prejudice against good singers.

Since HSM finished I am goin’ to see this movie. It looks pretty good.iT’S LIKE THE NEW hsm.American mall didn’t even make that much fame.And Camp Rock just sucks. The girl is kinda pretty but the oy looks regular and in some parts he looks like a moran. So I’m with these guys

Ok first of all high school musical is a musical Spectacular isnt a musical just because they sing like 3 songs in the movie its a wannabe hsm no!! its not that bad the movie spectacular its kinda good
This movie is not a wanna be hsm! This movie was sepctacular. These characters were great. I loved all the songs they sang and even the songs ta-da sang. I give this movie 100 out of 10 stars. I can’t get enough of it. I understand that some people found the movie lame and I respect that. I just have opinions.Tammin definitely has an awesome voice and so does the other guy. (sorry i can’t remember the actor’s name) i loved this movie and I hope other people will too.

i hate hsm and their teenie-bopper fans. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL WAS A CHEAP RIP-OFF OF GREASE! grease is a milion times better than hsm 1, 2, and 3 combined!

ok u guys u say HSM was a national phenomenon, but to be honest the only reason people liked was because of the songs and the dance moves. they cared less about the plot. And the only reason they like the characters now is because they were in the 1st movie. And frankly if other people want to make other musicals let them. Besides they built HSM up so much that people are starting to get annoyed with.
My opinion is that Spectacular is more believable than HSAM, and for once ppl don’t bust out in a song.
1st of all STOP staying its a copy of hsm. its not. Also STOP WRITING AND SAYING STUFF IF YOU DIDN’T ACTUALLY SEE THE MOVIE. this is a clip and i have to admit that this little part does look like hsm.
also i do agree most of which with Audrina. The only thing i don’t agree with is that you said “STUPID AMERICANS” i do agree alittle. some of us are stupid but some of us are actually smart.
about the movie, lets get this straught JUST BECAUSE IT HAS 3 SONGS DOESN’T MEAN ITS A MUSICAL. plus it has 3 songs because its about a school choir. ITS NOT LIKE THEY BUST OUT IN SONG. they only sing when they’re practicing, performing and when they were playing that song game
another thing is just because new movies come out and they just happern to have singing in it or is about singing DOESN’T MEAN ITS AUTOMATICALLY A HSM COPY. and before you judge if it is a hsm copy, look and watch the WHOLE movie then look at the plot, moraland a whole lot of other stuff.
