Brad and Angie will not break-up,this will only make them stronger.I know most of HW is LOL at Jenn except for her friends and DListers.
They know she trying to promote her Dog movie.

don”t buy vogue because the x is on the cover. hi jjoy.god bless the jolie pitt’s.

I am just so mad about this, I cant even begin to express it. Thta this woman would once again drag Angie’s name into this c**p is just unforgivable. I loathe her.

You better get used to because she will keep the act up. Brad will stay quiet and call jen a friend. Angelina is the scapegoat.

Brad took Angie and kids back to Germany yesterday.EL RAMEY

I think Brad does not like Angelina out and about. What is he trying to hide from her.He knows she does not get on the computer. He leaves real quick with her.

PersianCutie @ 11/12/2008 at 7:37 am

waving to fans. i guess we need to move on and don’t give her anymore free publicity she is seeking for so badly.
in positive post. Brad and Angie left L.A yesterday. according to ramey. there isn’t actual pic of them , just picture of jet. but from what it looks like, that jet is big enough to travel to Europe with.

We need to never mention X again all JP Fans starting today. And like irma said no one buy vogue. Please for Angelina and babies.Forget the old lady.

PersianCutie @ 11/12/2008 at 7:43 am

what are you talking about? they left L.A for Berlin yesterday because this was their plan. you need to grow up. Angie and Brad are living their life the way they want, no amount of attacks from you and people like you would change that fact. Vogue’s magazine left nothing but more sadness for Aniston herself. she just showed she can never let anything to go. even Angie won’t remember what she herself told 2 years ago, but Aniston remembered which means she had read it million times. that’s regrettable.

i have one more class, then i will be home. maybe until then, there will be picture of them landing in Berlin. peace to all.

Dressing Jolie
12 November 2008, 10:35AM

THE Roaring Twenties are back in a big way, style-wise, and nowhere are they rendered more beautifully than in The Changeling, the new film starring Angelina Jolie hitting cinemas later this month - and that’s all down to costume designer Deborah Hopper.

Having worked on such productions as Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima, Hopper has extensive experience at seeking out rare outfits to fit an unconventional brief but even she admits that costuming the 1,000 men, women and children involved in The Changeling proved tricky.

“It’s always a challenge to try to find vintage clothes. Especially with the earlier periods, because these fabrics simply don’t last; they fall apart,” she explains. “So we went everywhere around this country and then some. We did come up with enough clothes, but barely.”

The most wow-inducing looks go, of course, to Jolie’s lead, Christine Collins - something that the star herself insists proved invaluable to playing the role.

“The wardrobe choices are really the first steps toward Christine,” Jolie says. “There is something about the style of clothes of the Twenties that is very sweet. They make you feel a little softer and just so delicate, hidden behind it all. It helped me very much.”

Aging Eastwood nails ‘Changeling’
By: Alexa Blair Miller

At 78 years old, he’s still got it. Clint Eastwood’s climbing age hasn’t taken any edge off his creativity or talent.

Eastwood did an extraordinary job directing “Changeling,” a film in which Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich make you feel as if you’re fighting alongside single mother Christine Collins (Jolie) and Reverend Gustav Briegleb (Malkovich) as they take on the Los Angeles Police Department and its corruption in 1928.

Eastwood shows Collins’ heart-wrenching terror when her son goes missing and is then replaced with a changeling provided by the LAPD. He allows the frustration and angst to build as the LAPD attempts to cover up their laundry list of wrongdoings toward Collins, including neglect, slander and wrongful imprisonment. Eastwood skillfully adds murderous flashbacks to his grave and emotional story line, as well as scenes of mental hospital torture and courtroom trials.

Stepping out of her usual superheroine role and transforming into a more delicate kind of heroine, Jolie only reveals her more bellicose side through Collins’ character as the situation inevitably worsens. Jolie looks stunning with a tear-stained face and dark red lipstick while providing a selfless and passionate portrayal of Collins.

Briegleb has made it his personal mission to expose the LAPD, and in doing so he aids Collins in her uphill battle against one of the most powerful police forces in the country. Malkovich excels with persuasiveness in voice and manner, bringing you to hate the scum armed with titles as officers of the LAPD.

With its outstanding screenplay, acting and directing, “Changeling” takes you on a three-hour emotional rollercoaster ride full of apprehension, anger and fear, while Eastwood lives up to - and arguably exceeds - his previous blockbuster accomplishments.

Audiences find ‘Changeling’ touching Based on a true story from 1928 Los Angeles, single mother Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) discovers her 9-year-old son, Walter, is missing. When the police return him, it is apparent to Christine that this is not her son. But the cops (Colm Feore and Jeffrey Donovan) fearing bad press, even against a body of compelling evidence, insist the recovered boy is Walter. The movie elicits anger and frustration, keeping moviegoers absorbed throughout; it earned a superb must-see 92 percent approval.

- “Angelina Jolie is beyond words, her performance kept me glued to my seat. She should get the Oscar for this.”

- “All made better because it’s a true story; absolutely stunning.”

Angelina Jolie does not disappoint in this dramatic role as Christine Collins. Her trademark lips perhaps distract you from time to time to remind you of the actress but not enough to take you from her role… and to instead perhaps put a little flavor to the character. Her subtle expressions are very well executed and I cannot help but think our man Clint Eastwood had something to do with it. After all isn’t Clint the King of subtle acting? Who can forget his near speechless role in the classic- The Good The Bad and The Ugly?

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

David Fincher takes on quite a different kind of subject matter in this one (no severed heads, we think), loosely adapted by Eric Roth from the short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1922. It tells the story of a man who ages backward (and not in the Hollywood lady kind of way). We absolutely loved Mr. Fincher’s Zodiac from last year, and have also come to grips with the fact that we think Brad Pitt is actually very talented. Though the idea of two people falling in love and only being able to meet—age wise—in the middle before sliding past each other makes us feel sad already. (Dec. 25, Paramount/Warner Brothers)

I’m glad the Jolie-Pitt’s left L.A. The X is pitiful. Riding on someones popularity, can’t even sell a magazine on her own without talking about the past.

http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/article/someone-snapped-a-pic-of-the-benjamin-button-poster

A couple of you sent me emails telling me there was some artwork for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button online, but that was only some art used at the Apple.com trailer page, but it turns out Defamer scored an image via X-17 Online, but as always on the Internet it’s from a digital camera. I have no idea what Paramount is doing with this flick, but they have offered no official stills and have delivered the trailer in high definition as if it wouldn’t be squashed down by the massed (self included) to far less attractive Flash format. Last I checked withholding information only makes the online masses frenzied, but it keeps the general public in the dark and with the film set for release on Christmas Day Paramount may want to think about letting people in the “real” world know it is an actual film.
The pic to the right is the largest version available that I can find. Perhaps you can scour X-17 for the larger version, but I’ll be damned if that is not one of the most annoying sites I’ve ever visited.

Of course you will notice the poster features plenty of backwards typeface, playing off the fact Brad Pitt plays a man born somewhere in his eighties and continues to get younger as the film goes on. I have added the trailer below for a small bit of clarification for the uninitiated.

Benjamin Button remains an Oscar pundit’s favorite film to assume will be an Oscar classic. In my latest Oscar Update I included new predictions and Button, without being seen by anyone, remains the lead horse in the Best Picture race while both Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett remain in the hunt. That is, in early Oscar speculation terms.

The film is based on the 1922 story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and if you are interested in giving it a read yourself you can check it out at Google Books, just click here and drop down to page 279 or you can go here and download it in PDF format by chapter. If you are worried about reading a long story, don’t, the PDF version is 52 pages long while the first version is only 43 and I have a Word doc of it saved on my desktop that is only 21 pages. However, don’t think you are spoiling the film, these 21 pages have been turned into what is said to be a two and a half hour film, which you can get more detail on by reading a script review over here.

Entire article at link. Support the MIR Project

Vanessa Gueringer, a Lower 9th Ward resident, said she’s heard plenty of investment promises but sees little evidence it’s happened. Pockets of the area are coming back, with taquerias, for example, and some new houses, like those built by Brad Pitt’s Make It Right project. But they are overshadowed by warped streets off the main avenues, derelict properties and overgrown lots where homes once stood.

There are fears of a land-grab in areas marred by vacant homes. Many believed a previous planning effort would have set aside portions of the devastated Lower 9th Ward for green space. The proposal sparked a furious response from some residents who felt their neighborhood would be neglected in the rebuilding process.

http://www.trinitynews.ie/index.php/news/college/312-clinton-initative-approaches

The Clinton Global Initiative – a global activists group – may become a student society in Trinity this year. The Clinton Global Initiative University, a specific division of the main initiative, was set up in 2007. It aims to develop and expand collective responsibility overseas and to address major global problems to affect real positive change. One CGIU spokesperson said the project has targeted students with the hope that they can offer ‘practical and innovative solutions’ to issues that will affect our futures.

Danielle Ryan, Trinity’s CGIU campus rep, is currently in the process of establishing CGIU as an official Trinity society. After applications to the CSC, signatures, and an approved society constitution, she hopes that CGIU will grow to become part of student’s everyday lives.

The inaugural meeting of the CGIU attracted thousands of students, university officials and global activists to Tulane University in New Orleans. The crowd comprised of people from nearly every state and over 15 countries. They pledged their support to initiatives fighting climate change, global health, poverty alleviation and human rights. Some programmes include teaming up with Brad Pitt’s ‘Make it right’ project, and preparing sites in New Orleans lower ninth ward (devastated by Katrina) for construction and regeneration.

Good morning all and Team “Uncool”. We are back in high school. Too funny. Let Poor Jen have her 15 minutes. It is obvious that she cannot get press without mentioning AJ. The troll is on a mission to divide the fans and put tension on the blog. Don’t work Troll. BP and AJ are good people doing some good in the world. They are busy raising their children and being of service to worry about a whiny ex sitcom star. Whiny should get out of her self-absorbed life, hens get off of blogs and sensitive fans get some sunshine, to see that there is a big world out there. It does not revolve around manufactured PR and drama. All this media nonsense does is show that Poor eternal victim Jen has not moved on with her life and is fixated on AJ. AJ is a beautiful, talented woman. Hate on haters. Happy HUMP Day and Peace to all.

filipino fan @ 11/12/2008 at 8:09 am

flipping somebody’s statement to suit your own agenda, that is the MOST UNCOOL.
bragging about your man not saying about “dumping” again is the MOST UNCOOL.
showing bitterness is the MOST UNCOOL.

let go….let go…let go….when that happens, you will be COOL.

I guess Whiny is the only one who can be happy to go to work and be on a set. Mama Angie saying it and Poor eternal Victim Jen gets her feelings hurt. Too funny. whiny is a legend in her own mind. Okay enough of Whiny. Back to the grind. Peace to all.
