Ellen Pompeo: Happy Anniversary, Tao!
Ellen Pompeo and her music exec husband Chris Ivery celebrate Tao Nightclub’s three year anniversary in The Venetian Hotel and Casino Resort on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 38-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress was accompanied by Private Practice star Kate Walsh and her movie exec husband Alex Young, Denise Richards, Amanda Bynes, Jenna Fischer, Taye Diggs, director Darren Aronofsky (Rachel Weisz’s husband), Robin Thicke and Stacy Keibler.

I bet Kate is pleased with the Obama victory. Wonder if her and her husband will be at the Inauguration ? Kate did loads of campaigning over the last 2 years, and I believe her husband hosted a fundraiser in Hollywood that must have raised megabucks towards the campaign.

Like S said - This was a party for a nightclub’s anniversary that Kate and Taye were announced for long ago. Kate is behaving as any of us would in meeting an ex-work colleague there. Just because you worked with someone doesn’t mean you’re automatically best buds.
Ellen felt the need to issue her own PR statement announcing she would be there celebrating her wedding anniversary - she even name-checked Kate. If that isn’t desperately seeking PR, I don’t know what is !!!!!

I like all these actresses, but i think Kate is so beautiful. Sadie, I think Ellen sold photos of her ‘honeymoon’ to a magazine cos i remember seeing them, might have been People or OK. Everyone does it, Patrick Dempsey sold photos of his newborn babies.
