Ellen Pompeo: Happy Anniversary, Tao!
Ellen Pompeo and her music exec husband Chris Ivery celebrate Tao Nightclub’s three year anniversary in The Venetian Hotel and Casino Resort on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The 38-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress was accompanied by Private Practice star Kate Walsh and her movie exec husband Alex Young, Denise Richards, Amanda Bynes, Jenna Fischer, Taye Diggs, director Darren Aronofsky (Rachel Weisz’s husband), Robin Thicke and Stacy Keibler.

You explain it yourself. The NE never prints anything nice about anyone unless it comes from their publicists. This piece was too nice to be written by the NE people, it had to come from EP’s publicist.

Actually #75 last week Private Practice had 9.17 million viewers and a 3.1/8 in the 18-49 demo whereas Life on Mars had 8.71 million viewers and a 2.9/8 in the same demo (and BTW LOM is loosing tons of viewers every week, while PrP is holding steady in its ratings), so really please check your facts first. The numbers quite clearly speak for themselves.

Practice got 9 million ONLY because it had dancing with the stars in front of it. Once Dancing goes it’ll sink back down to it’s 7 million a week which will get it canceled.

This is soo sad but I think I threw up in the same seat that Kate W. is sitting in in these pictures. LOL. It was my 21st bday and I had too much fun partying after the Miss America pageant.
If I am not mistaken, that is the VIP area there. The bar is across from it.
I’m sure they sanitized it well though. LOL!

i think ellen and kate look cute. why is everyone hating? as for the people who said ellen sold her honeymoon photos, she didn’t. she didn’t really have a honeymoon, she said it in an interview so give her a little break if she really wants to party in vegas.

You Ellen fans are so bitter. Get your facts straight before you post trash. Like others have said Private Practice is doing very well. Greys never had to suffer a 10-month off-air gap between seasons, and Greys had the benefit from the Desperate Housewives lead-in for its first 2 seasons. Given Private Practice has neither advantage, 4th place on ABC is frankly brilliant, given the shows either side of it are dying. TV By Numbers site predicts it will be picked up for a full 3rd season.
Ellen fans should quit bitching and enjoy her on Greys while you can. She’s said she’s retiring after Greys so you’ve only got 2 1/2 seasons left and then she will disappear back to obscurity again, so make the most of it !

i have no idea what ellen was thinking. she looks like a witch. all tht black stringy fabric, knee high boots and strange hair does not look good at all.
