How did I know there would be again another thread of the two love birds?! Hayden alway’s preaching how private he is and he loved the purchase of his farm b/c that was his sanctuary! Oh yeah right?! He is media wh*ring and long with Bilson on his farm. God! The two must need the money or something. Well. Look at all the expensive farm toy’s Hayden has purchased.

Indeed they are an item and this is so stupid. They have been together for quite sometime and now to all the sudden come out? Oh well. Those two belong in the cold. I love Rachel Bilson so no complaints from me!!! This sounds serious. As in maybe they will get married. They are old enough and they’ve been together for a while now.

I think it’s cool Hayden wants to develop a working farm in Canada.
Fifteen or so years from now, it might be the smartest thing he ever did. Things look pretty bad for the environment and the economy is in the crapper and it is affecting the entire world. It is a scarey time. Running off to a farm in Canada isn’t such a bad idea.

I’m a Hayden fan but this is just disturbing. I thought his farm was his haven away from pap and such. Is she really going to live in Canada? It looks so cold there already and she is from LA. Sh**, I don’t know what to think of Hayden now.

I think he is just as silly as she is - he has to be in order to stand her… that’s why he can deal with her limited vocabulary (and everything else).
And for reaching the “plenty of good women out there” he would have to lift his lazy a$$ first - which won’t happen. That’s why he hooks up with co-stars: It’s easy and needs no effort, so: Just his thing.

I agree that the farm itself is a wonderful idea, and especially in these times, as you say. I just doubt that this particular guy will ever make something of it, and I doubt even more that a RB is ever ready to share her life there with him. She loves L.A. (especially the attention she gets there very easily, and the shopping availabilities, clearing my throat) far too much.
But as his acting career is over anyway, the farm might be his last chance. I just don’t believe he has in him what it would need to make it successful. He’s neither bright, nor efficient, nor has any other “business man quality”, and a farmer has to be an organizer and “manager” as well. He does not even know the slightest about farming yet, although many years he could have taken the time to learn something about it.

He looks bad these days, has this ugly look to him, gross and disgusting. He is NOT going to farm, knows NOTHING about farming, doesn’t even live at the farm more than a few weeks out of the year (rest of the time in LA or Bahamas.) If there ever is a working farm there it will be because he’s hired someone else to do it and he will have contributed NOTHING.

HC’s acting days are over. He’s too big of a drug addict to be a serious anything. All he can do now is **** RB and inseminate her babies (if he can, if the drugs, alcohol and tobacco haven’t killed his sperm count.) He is a press/media wh*** just like she is and they totally deserve each other.

I try to avoid reading comments when there are posts from these two, but one thing that strikes me as funny is how HC’s fans blame Rachel on him becoming Hollywood and being photographed all the time.

The way I see it this is all him. He fell in love, follows her around everywhere and sold her the Canada idea very well. She’s from California and prior to Hayden all she could talk about was how much she loved spending time with her family. Her friends and her entire family, mom, stepdad, dad, stepmom, and her little sisters. Somehow, when she met him she forgot all about that to get herself holled up in a cold place most of the time, because as much as he follows her around, she does more of it. She stays in LA so little time and frankly I don’t think one can get enough time through these visits to be with your family and friends enough.

So, to me, she got sucked in Hayden world because I -as her fan- do admit she is naive and looks like someone who is easily influenced. I’m guessing if someone had asked her before meeting Hayden if she would like to live in a cold farm most of the year she would have probably shot the idea down immediately. I’ve seen her change since she got together with him and this is obviously just through interviews and what she has to say in them. She’s not the girl she was before, she is an entire new person. I do know how Hayden fans feel when they read what he has to say or watch him getting photographed. I got nothing against his fans because I’m one of them but on the Rachel side. We both got disappointed by our favorite actors. I’ve decided not to read anymore of her interviews, just pictures where she is alone and once again I avoid reading comments from sites. But, sometimes, I sort of fall of the wagon and read them again. Believe me for me it’s hard because I liked her so much because she seemed so sweet and her mind seemed to be set of right. It’s not longer like that, she’s now cranky most of the time and different all together. I guess I will eventually get over it all. I hope Hayden’s fans will to.

I agree to everything you’ve said, except the drug issue, as there is no proof for it (yet).
I do hope nature is selective enough to spare those two with children, for whatever reason, as they are both like kids in their minds themselves and surely not able to raise a child well. This would be a very poor being, pulled into limelight and not learning any real value in life except that “money and fashion rule”. So I really hope nature shows some consideration in this case.

As a former HC-fan I don’t listen to/read anymore what he has to say now, so I cannot answer that question. He surely does not live up to what he has stated in earlier days, that I can tell for sure.

Actually i wish them both luck because it is not that easy to have a relationship as celebrities that works.They are making sacrifices too. They are both family loving people but have to be apart from them once in a while because of the distrance. Don`t be too hard on them.

I am from Europe, and here we get all stuff like that at the supermarket or kiosk, but can people in the US not buy cigarettes as well in a liquor store? He’s a heavy smoker, depending on a very special brand of Canadian cigarettes. I don’t think this brand is very easy available when he is abroad.
The arrogance came in later years BTW, never had this impression up to after “SW III”, but some time later then. Question is, what for, with these sad acting results?!

First off–hello Gasol been a few weeks,hope all is well on the home front(don’t wish to discuss private things here).

@at all of those that think that’s Hayden’s Dad sorry you are wrong-want proof look at bullrun pictures/video of Hayden in Toronto, the bald guy is Hayden’s Dad, standing next to older sister. Looks NOTHING like the guy on the Farm.

As for the debate on if the place is a barn or farmhouse, maybe it’s just me but barns don’t usually have an outside area to sit on. We call them a balcony.

HC/RB are coming up to two years together, they have met each others family, at least certain members.

Hayden has been seen with both Rachel’s Mother and Stepmum.
Rachel has been seen with Tove, Alie and Kaylen.

Nobody here knows what goes on between them behind closed doors, away from cameras, after almost 2 years I would hope they don’t spend all night watching TV on opposite sides of a sofa.

As for the comments on Rachels voice perhaps Hayden likes it-even if you don’t. Rachel must have something going for her because Hayden is not known to be with anyone this long, and for those that say he should find someone better who are you to judge?

Hayden himself has said that he does not like it when girls approach him, because he does not know how to take it, what they are after.

Hayden was rejected at school, rejected until SW then everyone wanted him, and he got smart very quick about the way people use you in those circumstances. He got angry because a “friend” was using him, so he said goodbye to the friend.

Hayden became very protective of himself and those that he considers to be his inner crowd. JMO but at 19 HC said he would not date Co-Stars, but with time he began to understand that they are they only ones he can date. Two reasons:

1. They don’t talk(the Italian fling could not wait to be interviewed)
2. Not after Hayden the Actor, but Hayden the person.

Hayden like so many others understands that the best person is the one you can trust, the one that understands what you do for a living, because they do it as well.

I fully agree to what you say.
A while ago in German TV was a show called “Sarah & Marc in love” (she is a so-so-singer and don’t ask me who he is?). This couple was also filmed in their “togetherness” up to being engaged and preparing their wedding and marrying finally, everything filmed and broadcast week by week. I’ve never watched this nonsense, but media was full of it, TV and print, it was practically inevitable to hear about it.
Recently, only three years later, their divorce is announced, of course just as public and detailed as everything else before. And they both wonder “why the h*ll people are so annoying and caring about them now, and don’t leave them alone in their sorrow”, yada-yada-yada. Sad thing is that two children are involved in the meanwhile.

Well, I guess, such a form of “career” could hit HC/RB anytime soon, they are on their best way to it. She’d surely be more than happy to get such a show, as long as she can just stay present in public. And he will follow her as usual, the stupid that he is.

What’s to confirm with this relationship? It was long clear and obvious they are together, all this “seeing each other’s mothers” and buying furniture together, home depot, Valentine’s Day, his denials (”I usually deny everything.” LOL) etc. etc. etc.
Give them some time. She won’t get any other offers, obviously this last little movie she had at hand was set up by her father and her part cannot have been very big, as otherwise she was still working now.
Her “star” in Hollywood is falling more and more, her career stagnates and she just gets older (compared to many young girls already standing in line to break into this business in demand). And believe me, this girl will do whatever it takes to stay in public attention. Seems she cannot live without it. And as her beau doesn’t have an own opinion anymore anyway, you can count him in as well. Either they will totally disappear from the radar (which will leave RB quite unhappy I could imagine) or they’ll end up similar to the couple I mentioned above (which will leave HC very unhappy). Whatever they do, their path is doomed. As I said before, I just hope that no offspring is involved in this case as they both seem far too immature and selfish to raise a child/children.

I always have this scene in front of me in my head, it was about the difference between an “actor” and a “movie star”, and this lady asked him, and he sat there and winked and had such an “askew” smile and said: “But I’m an actor” with all the conviction in his heart. So very nice. You know, I miss that guy a lot, as the HC running around now under this name/appearance has absolutely nothing in common anymore with the “other one” from former days.

One of the things i love about being a Rachel fan is that we don’t get too worked up about what she says or does…
We like her no matter what, we don’t judge(that much) , not her, nor the person she is with, we may not like the guy(and this is any guy she would date, not Hayden especifically), but we don’t trash him, we may not approve(not that we feel intitled to judge).
At the end of the day, we trust the education her parents gave her, and her 27 years to help her make the right decisions in her life, wether professionally or privately…
And most importantly we don’t attack each other…

Is Hayden stupid? Maybe but I don’t think so. He seems to be very immature and insecure. This boyishness was part of his appeal. What worked when he was younger does not work now. Maybe that is why he has not turned in a good performance in years. He doesn’t have the maturity to carry off an adult role. On screen he always looks like he needs to saved by someone.

His comments and actions totally contradict each other. He wants people to see his movies but be uninterested in him as a person. Its human nature to want to know. As a sometime fan I find his attitude towards us (his fans) disturbing. Public opinion, in his job, is everything. Him saying that he doesn’t care what people think is irresponsible. If he continues to alienate his fans he may find that he has none left. Judging by the comments here that is what is happening. I’ve watched hardcore fans turn indifferent to him.

As to his love life, he is inexperienced in how to deal with that publicly. If he would open up a little he might find that people would care less. Even Johnny Depp, who as a huge star has more reason than Hayden to hide his private life, acknowledges his girlfriend. This whole maybe/maybe not thing with Rachel could have been avoided. It certainly would have made him seem more honest and less shady.

It is nice to hear your opinion about hayden as a fan.People do change as they grow older. Ido not expect hayden to be the same guy as he was like 21 or what. This is a scary thread. Let me start by saying that I’m am not a “fan” of either one of these actors. I am an avid movie goer and as such I have seen most of their movies. I checked the numbers for the last film these two did together (Jumper) and was impressed to see that it grossed nearly a quarter of a billion dollars worldwide… that’s billion with a B. (before DVD sales)

Out of all of the people who paid money to see that movie, I would venture to say that probably less than 100 individuals care if these two are a couple or even keep track of their comings and goings on a monthly basis. Most people only think about actors when their movie is about to be released.

So for those of you who really believe that fans’ opinions of their private life will in any way have an affect on these actors’ bank accounts or will affect their lives in any way, well I think you need to come back to planet Earth. After reading this thread, if I were an actor I would be overjoyed if these types of “fans” left my ticket-buying audience forever. No actor could ever want obsessed followers like this.

Check some of your haters (like Kate) because I remember her telling someone a while ago (before she fell off the face of the earth) that Hayden owed her EVERYTHING. Sit down and have a talk with her. And no baby I ain’t been a teen for years. Physically, Hayden is a man. I’m not talking about that pathetic thing on his face I’m talking about everything else. I don’t remember Hayden ever getting caught being drunk or doing heroin. I actually don’t remember him doing anything displeasing to the eye but hanging out with his friends and family. He doesn’t stumble out of bars and clubs uffed up and he doesn’t date every single chick out there. How has he done something that would make anyone call him out and spread rumors? I wasn’t saying that he had the right to lie (in actuality he does, everyone does) but that he is human so he will just like everyone else.

Hayden seemed far more mature in younger years than he does now, as well as in his comments as his actions. Obviously he moves “in a reverse mode” in his development. Sad but so it seems.
It was more than obvious that SM dumped him, and not the other way round. There are pictures soon afterwards in which his face said everything. He had followed her even to London in the trial to hold her but couldn’t. Not that she was a loss, I agree to that opinion some people stated here, but for him it was painful. And he started to change very much after this.
And there were many candids of him out and about, through all the years. Photo documentary of this is still to be found on his biggest fan site. He was not living like a hermit, maybe for a few weeks after “SW2″ and “SW3″ were at the movies but not for all the time.
RB’s fashion theft is a fact and nothing which can be discussed. That other firms do it too, I rely on your word here, as I don’t know, does not make it any better. It’s another thing showing who she is.

Oh please, she was feeding him in all public already mid March 2007! Plus she offered him her pizza and flirted around with him already in Rome end of 2006 as “Jumper” was made. Picture proof is all around the net. And back then she still had (another) boyfriend BTW, but the beginning of them as a couple was more than obvious already back then. I think they are together since Rome, which is also a reason why she moved out of Brody’s house right after returning to L.A.
So of course they lied in all those interviews, and always again. No excuse for that.
And I don’t hate them. I just say that I’m a disappointed ex-fans and present my reasons for it.
And as for them hopefully not having children, that’s not hateful, but thinking about these kids as they would live their life in a fishbowl just like Gasol_fan16 has stated it so descriptive. I think parents need responsibility and have to be able to manage their own lives before they involve a third - helpless - being. JMO. In neither one of those two I can see that. They travel around all the time, and they are photographed for basically no reason (like e.g. a new movie would be). They only care about themselves. RB is a fashion addict, some boots are more important to her than a world miracle right behind her (see “Jumper”-promotion videos).
He’s never around to care for his pigs, she leaves Thurmen Murmen behind all the time… so many things to observe.
I don’t see these two people as good parents, that’s all. I didn’t wish them to get ill or something, and I surely never would. I just thought about the child in this case.

I am the very first one to say that children, animals (not that I see them equal but both of high value) and anybody else who is helpless shall be protected. That’s exactly WHY I say that some people better shouldn’t have children/pets/whatever if it’s obvious that they are already overstrained with themselves and/or their own lives.
In the movie called “Parenthood” there was once a very clever sentence about it: “You have to do a driving license, you even need a license to catch a fish, but every idiot can have a child.” or similar to that. A wise speech indeed.

Since when did we compare children with our pets? I almost garauntee one would treat their child better then their pet anyday. Not only that HC has said (I’m not sure why Smile hexe doesn’t seem to know this) that he has family looking after his place and animals. I think his sister lives there or something. And you also act like RB can’t get her mom or a friend or something to look after Thermen Murmen while she’s away. Even if they weren’t together they’re still actors which means they don’t spend all their time at home so they won’t always be the one to take care of their pet. And that goes for any celeb. Plus, I don’t hate him. He shall lead his life, just not expect to be admired for it anymore (at least not by me).
And read the post correctly: I extra pointed out “they (children and pets) are NOT equal”. But the responsibility for another living being is given in both cases, and it’s really easy to take pets and hand them over to other people afterwards who do the work and take care for them. Very easy, but not how it is supposed to be, at least not IMO. If I take a responsibility I TAKE CARE OF IT MYSELF afterwards, and for the all the many years it might take.
Of course I know that the pigs were taken care of (and even by whom, not his sister, LOL), and Thurmen Murmen too. But that’s not the same thing, as just dogs are totally concentrated on their owners and suffer a lot when he/she is not around, and I talk of experience. My dog was with me, 24/7, and she enjoyed that a lot, me too. With the dogs I had before her this was not possible and they cried each time I left the house.
The behavior of RB/HC towards their pets shows one thing for sure: They take things and when they get “inconvenient” or cross their (e.g. travel) plans they quickly put them aside. Right now it are their pets. Do you want that for their children too? And I know an actor has to travel or some parent can get ill but those are situations, with these two it’s a common habit which happens all the time, and for no real reason as well.

I’ve long seen “Awake” - in English.
This order was for the German version of it, I often bought HC’s movies twice that way - original when it came out on code 1, German version on region code 2 later. My collection on HC became quite big, and I am a collector of movies/series in general, so I like to have things in original.
But the German one is canceled, and if it wasn’t for my personal data on that bill I could show you the affirmation from “Amazon.de” that they canceled the order.
And I surely won’t watch his future films in theaters or buy them on DVD/BD.
But it won’t hurt his purse as long as he still has such loyal fans like you and some others, so I just do this for myself. ;-)

Why would you let Smilehexe get you this riled? The woman is only voicing her opinion and this is a public board and she did not wish harm on HC and RB’s future children at all! He is never around the pig’s either and leaves others to look after the pig’s while he is gone. Why obtain animal’s if, your never around to give them love or attention? I really have nothing against Rachel, but these two appear to have nothing in common. Hayden hasn’t seemed happy with her at all, he never smiles. He’s papped more than ever before, even more than when he was with Sienna. There’s obv. something going on there, whether he’s in on it or not. It’s so opposite of everything he claimed to hate about Hollywood. So either he’s been a liar for years or he’s changed, and not for the better. He has a brain in that head, is he using it or is he just floating through life? If he appeared happy with Rachel, if he smiled and looked totally in love with her, I’d be happy for him. But he looks MISERABLE. She doesn’t look much happier. These two are young and attractive and should be having the time of their lives. They look empty and pissy or sad constantly. I don’t see a healthy relationship. What they do behind closed doors is their business, but you’d think after 2+ years it would carry over into the “candids” of them at some point. I don’t see it. JMO but I would think the situation with animals is unavoidable, Rachel received Thurman as a prezzie, so she did not have much choice in it, but did the right thing and kept the dog which looks well looked after to me.
Hayden has lived with animals all his life, and JMO would have thought about getting the pigs for a reason.

Both when away from them have trusted family/friends that look after them. George Clooney had a much loved pig, whom he left in the care of others when working for instance.

As for a child, not saying that HC/RB would have one together but perhaps with others, lots of people seem to manage kids and work just fine in Hollywood to many to list but I’m sure you can think of just a few.

To make an assumption that Hayden would be a bad father because he leaves his pigs in the care of someone else when working seems a bit of an over-reaction. Just food for thought.

First off most here would know Hayden has a farm located in Zephyr, just outside of Uxbridge Toronto Canada. Bad mistake for PR to make if they are trying to sell something. Also the story came out of the UK, not the USA where it was picked up.

Second Hayden is not building a farmhouse, it’s a very big barn. Pictures are available on the net, taken from outside of the property.
