OlderHayden Christensen & Rachel Bilson: Farm House Happy
Hayden Christensen and girlfriend Rachel Bilson go up a construction boom lift and check in on the progress of the new farmhouse they are having built in Uxbridge, Ontario on Sunday.
Accompanying the couple in Canada was Hayden’s mom, Alie. The trio then went to the bank and then did some early Christmas shopping.
“I recently acquired a farm north of Toronto,” Hayden has said. “And I just bought a big excavator and a dump truck and a bobcat – construction toys. I plan to start building soon. I can’t wait to go out there and move dirt and get my hands dirty. It’s currently a hay farm, but I want it to be a working farm. I want to fill the barn with livestock. First pigs, then cattle and horses. Get some sheep, some goats. Maybe an alpaca.”
He has also spoken of planting lavender fields: “It doesn’t require much maintenance, but apparently it’s a b—- to harvest, because you have to cut it all by hand.”

watch H’s old interviews, he had such a glow and energy about him. he speaks differently and looks so wore down. i know hollywood can do that, plus a fmaily issue, but geez where are his loved ons? i mean looks like he needs someone. but i cant understand because RB is always with him, unless she is a cause, but then why be with her, as i said b4 “security” he cant talk to regular women and most of his costars shot him down so……. she is a safety net. seems to me
That’s how he strikes me as arrogant and kind of lazy. The alcohol thing came to me -as an assumption- with all of his trips to the licor store, and the lazy thing from him wearing the same clothes days in a row. But all of these are impressions I get from pictures and the few interviews I’ve read of him. I know I can’t know a person from just that, but I think he does care about his family because we do see him with his mom and sister (not so sure about Tove). I mean if we’ve seen Rachel with them, that probably means he is spending time with them too. The Bahamas thing you say -if it’s true- proves it too. He just doesn’t care as much as he should. They both don’t (I know Rachel doesn’t spend as much time as she used to with her family or even her friends) and I think that is the saddest part of it all.
The backing out of events must suck for his fans. Being excited about seeing someone and then having them not show up must be really disappointing.
Actually i wish them both luck because it is not that easy to have a relationship as celebrities that works.They are making sacrifices too. They are both family loving people but have to be apart from them once in a while because of the distrance. Don`t be too hard on them.

You don’t know me or how I felt for HC at all, so please stop make assumptions like that. I saw a very promising actor in him and someone to believe in. That was all. I thought he was honest and grounded and had good values in life, somebody to admire. Well, I was wrong. As simple as that. No date dreams included. But I worried about him because I used to like him as a person. Met many nice people on his boards etc. Maybe that’s the reason I don’t want to let go yet, but surely not some romantic reason. I also never thought he was “hot”, whatever that is. ;-)

As far as I read somewhere, Tove was there with him as the air condition system was delivered and had to be built in. Hopefully he is not as clumsy as his little brother seems to be. ;-)
He is with his family right now obviously, at least with somebody of them. Alie is with them on the farm. She seems to like RB considering the fact she has been seen with her in L.A. and on the airport before as well, and even without HC with them.

btw to number 31, i would like to mention that hayden’s acting career is not over you jealous *****. hayden is working on a movie called ”bone deep”, also he is going to start filming the remake of ”mona lisa” which is set to start filming in march 2009, in NYC. also he doesn’t take drugs. all he does is smoke (which is bad enough) quit spending your life over the internet reading about celebs and talking bad about them. get a life you ugly tard. =P

If he wanted his privacy he wouldn’t have invited press there during Jumper promotion. How stupid. He has either changed a great deal in the past few years or he is a better actor than I gave him credit for. He had me fooled into thinking that he was sweet, shy, and grounded enough not to be affected by HW.
As they are looking at the camera in at least one I would have to say they knew they were being photographed. Before we never would have seen his house, but these days things are different.
I can’t really see Rachel living on a farm. She definitely looks like a city girl.
Pics look like they were taken with a super-long telephoto lens. I like the one of Hayden’s Dad leaning out of the barn going, “WTF?”
What is Hayden building? Doesn’t look like a pig barn. Those are usually long and low to retain heat in the winter.

I would say that looks more like a barn than a farmhouse. And I believe that Hayden said in one of his interviews that he was in the process of building a barn.
And I agree with the comment about the telephoto lens. These pictures look grainy, like they were taken from a distance.
PLEASE knowone gets on a celebritie farm unless INVITED. first off hayden isn’t speaking to his dad right now I couldn’t say but, I wouldn’t claim that is his dad. ANd JJ said the mom was there but, She isn’t in any of the pictures. Keep in mind JJ doesn’t always get he information right on the sites and also they are promoting this sneaker **** of his in hopes to draw a ton of attention to him and her..

Yeah, the guy from Star Wars and the brunette from the OC. Minor celebs with aspirations. They were aware of the photog. Everyone look at the camera at least once.
Well, that’s definitely dad in the pictures. I’ve seen several shots of him in the past. But no sign of mom. I am aware of the family issues. But its pretty obvious from these shots that Hayden is still on speaking terms with his father.

If you love somebody, you want them to be around wherever that would be. Rachel must be that committed to him to be in cold canada.
I don’t see what everyone’s problem is? They’re a cute couple, both seem like nice people, and they’re spending time together. What is the big deal? I don’t know either one personally but I’m betting they’re old enough to think for themselves and obviously they’ve found something to like and respect about one another. Good for them.
