Gerard Butler Takes Date To Arcade
Gerard Butler and a gal pal go on a date together at the Santa Monica Pier arcade on Monday night on Ocean Front Walk, Calif.
The 38-year-old Scottish star and his probable new lady love had a blast, laughing and smiling the whole time. The pair played a game of air hockey together and other fun arcade games. Looks like the twosome won quite a few games from the number of prizes tickets they’re holding!
TMZ has a video of the couple kissing. Gerry may have snagged himself a gorgeous one!

Jasmine Burgess is a model (of course) who Gerry supposedly had been “dating”. She lives in NY.
Just to clear up any confusion Gerard went to the Nim’s Island premiere with his Mum,Stepfather,brother,sister in law and his ex agent Kim ……..this is fact.Gerard was casually dating at this time,but neither of the two girls in question were there.
Gerry is always “casually” dating. Kim who?

I am pretty sure his mom and step-dad were not there. Just his brother SIL and nieces.
These comments are incredible. Does anyone know the truth about Mr. Butler? So many claims made are outrageous. He may well be doing many outrageous things. It seems pretty obvious that fame has gone to his head, I guess people can get carried away with their success and riches, and do a lot of things because they can get away with it (Bill Clinton admitted to that) but I can’t believe even this celluloid fabricated sex god so many women worship and adore can get women to line up against a wall and drop their pants to be sniffed. Come on. Get real.
The thing that bothers me most about Gerard Butler is that we have heard ad infinitum about what an intelligent man he is, top of the class in law school etc. and the story of how he got fired and took a big gamble on acting and quit drinking. This inspirational story has been written and rewritten and recycled endlessly.
Yet I have never seen that man. In interviews he behaves like a redneck and hillbilly (look up the ethnic origins of those slang derogatory terms if you don’t know ‘em, yeah, they were coined and applied to crude, uncouth, poor, uneducated Scots and Scots-Irish who settled Southern Appalachia in the 1700s. And I bet I’m really going to piss someone off saying that.) Butler opens his mouth and spills silliness and crude language. You can almost hear it coming before he speaks. He’s not even funny. What he says is just weird. Why do so many women think he is so funny and so REAL? He acts like a jerk and a jackass. No wonder TMZ has made him their running joke of the year. Do American men really like this guy when he has reportedly said he is more masculine than American men? Come on, someone speak up. I don’t hate the man, I don’t love him, I just think he needs to be put in perspective. And yes, someone is going to ask why I am spending time writing this if I am not as obsessed as everyone else who contributes to this website!
I spent years as a reporter/writer/journalist and never worked for any media outlet that allowed lies and unproven gossip to see the light of day. My employers were very strict. about truth. I never paid attention to movie stars until I found the Butler phenomenon fascinating. All this stuff on TMZ and like sites and the Net is nuts. I almost want to move to L..A. now because it seems a lot more entertaining a place than where I live, with everyone seemingly bed hopping and claiming to sleep with movie stars and everyone else, seeing celebrities everywhere they go and trading wild stories about who was and wasn’t at a premiere! The few people I know who live in L.A. hold down normal jobs and live normal lives and say they never even see these famous people.
#153, if you actually visit this site again, or someone else if you know, what rumor surrounded the set of Attila? Facts, ma’am. Nuthin’ but the facts. Have Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and all these other stars gone through this ruthless examination? I have no idea. I never paid attention before. This is an incredible phenomenon to me.

I can’t help but agree with you Jaybird. When I first read about Gerry in ‘06 the very first thing I did read was the “quit drinking, got fired from law school………” and I felt maybe he has found his calling in acting.
Now, espically with his comment about American men (which if you go into previous GB sites on JJ-dont member which one it was I commented about that remark. We even have American YOUNG men, who out of High School went into the Military in turn some not ever coming home….. (and so on) I had lost respect for him as an individual. THEN, to hear of the way he does women (yes, I admit they know what they are getting into, but then again it isnt fair of how he does them, saying they’re the one, etc……..so where are the morals here…..true, there are 2 sides to a story, but when the wind blows in the same direction, ie these women saying the same thing not just on JJ but TMZ and a few other sites, speaking for myself, it makes me wonder….does he even respect himself as well. Character is more important than reputation and he apparently has forgotten who he is.
Actions in regards to interviews, I to thought at first were cute, trying to be relaxed, etc but now it is getting to be in a sense ridiculus (sp). I dont know what to think anymore….and again like you I agree most of these women are going for the image and not looking at the man putting out that image, thus here comes the hurt, anger and then the bashing. And you are right about LA, lived there and I never allowed myself to get caught up in all that “bed-hopping”…..though I do have a # of friends out there in the industry.
I am not sayin Gerry is wrong but then again he isnt right in certain things, but it it his life and calls the shots. And everyone either has to accept this or move on…….cause it is apparent it isnt gonna change. This incident BTW wasnt the only one. Paps just got lucky….prior was the Bardot bar….. so, we arent seein all there is to the man and until like Jaybird says someone speaks up and addresses their concern-it isnt gonna stop. (Has anyone heard what happened to Sienna Miller in regards to her escapades…..many spoke up and her main fan website shut down…) so bottom line everyone can complain, but are ya gonna speak up though? If you are a true and devote fan who cares TELL GERRY ie fan mail or sites like these cause I am sure they are read either by him or his people (including friends).
I, like Jaybird, dont hate Gerry or love him, never met him and I am sure he is nice, but he also said himself in an interview “if you really knew me you wouldn’t think I was nice…..” *can’t remember the site but it was posted in several interviews/sites….. so it is ok to think he is all cool and all-that is the fun part of being a fan, but also keep in mind he is a every-day joe like the rest of us capable of being an a$$hole as well as a sweet and likable guy as well. So, get him off that pedastel and look at him not only as the actor but the man he really is.
And, before I am bashed, this is just my opinion and is based on what I have read/interpretedregarding his interviews/sites etc. As I also said many times, I do not comment unless I feel I need to elsewise I keep surfing….which BTW I have surfed and read comments from the UK and Scotland as well and they are also thrown by how Gerry has changed so it just isnt LA or NYC…..

Lonewolf - Will you please tell what happened at the Bardot bar? This is the second reference I have read, but don’t know what happened.
#236-for the skinny, like I was told to do (IF I was interested) check out the Star mag out recently. Word has it (I personnally dont know-neighbor gets the mag and told me) there were 2 girls, one was a girl from Philly, who of course gave Gerry her # and one in a black and white dress (who may be one and the same (again I dont know personnally) who BTW has her name in the Mag just like Kristi Korzec, who he was with one week or so later at the pier. Once again, its a run with the paps/mags…. lord….this sounds like a soap or a novel……On Wednesday, so and so did this, 2 days later so and so was with doo-hickey…..that following Saturday, so and so was seen with ding-wah…….
BTW-for more interesting reading go in on imdb/Gerard Butler and read the “Whos that girl” thread…..it talks about the Bardot bar/Star Mag also.

that I dont know…. as commented on page 5 in the imdb thread as you go in on Gerrys board scroll down and see the start of the threads…. it is only saying he was at the bar…..2 girls…..leaving with one in a black/white dress…….
this is what I am talking about…..no pics just comments…Star Mag supossedly just has Kristi Korzecs name (she has a facebook) and the girl from Philly’s name is in the article in Star also. (I did not see the mag personnaly, just was told by several who did) I dont know if she is in facebook though……
With out pics backing up things, I personally just take it as the usual “Hollyweird gossip” but I admit I also find it odd how the same thing is found all over the sites if it is just gossip. I cant believe that Star Mag put their names in the mag though!!!!!!
#234 - Gerry Butler is the only one who really knows Gerry Butler. What he does behind closed doors is his business, and whatever that is we will never know, unless someone goes public and spills the beans. Given the fact that some of the stuff is so outrageous, if it were me doing it with him, I would be too embarrassed to admit to it. He’s well educated and intelligent on one hand and immature on another; I’m beginning to view him as Jekyll and Hyde.
Does the truth mean anything?
I know some of the boards have mentioned Kristi’s name before, but this weekend the Star mag published it. And, last time I talked to Kris, she was shocked, dismayed and frustrated. We both had no idea of the level of disinformation about her circulating around the Internet.
Surprisingly, the info in the Star is pretty much to true, but how did they validate it?
The people that really know Kris wouldn’t have talked to the razzi’s, but now, since her name is out there, I’d like to post a few facts. …And I’m doing so without her permission because, if I tell her, she might convince me not to do it. Hopefully the story is pretty much over, but I feel strongly that at this point a little truth can’t possibly hurt.
Kristi Korzec is a Union Screen Writer, her agent is Endeavor. The last project she worked on is Single With Parents - Staff Writer.
She wrote an upcoming episode of Everybody Hates Chris, entitled Everybody Hates Backtalk.
She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with honors in 2001 - Writing Major.

I know I’m late with this but I’ve been looking at this mystery date of Gerry’s and thinking who does she remind me of and its really interesting, I think she a cross between Thandie Newton, Gerry’s co-star in Rock’n'rolla and Emmie Rossum from POTO. Can anyone else see that similarity? Anyway I just thought it was interesting……
Maybe subconsciously Gerry is dating girls that he’s attracted too in
his female co-stars…….the mind boggles. Its just nice to see him with
someone, serious or not, at least he’s not out on his own.

You’ve practically published her entire family history, that’s hardly “a little truth”. No matter how intriging it may be, I would have excluded her family’s history, out of respect for their privacy.
This actor has some rather creepy, possessive fans, the ones who tend to be responsible for all the character assassinations of practically any woman spotted within 40 feet of him.
I bet this girl would not appreciate any jealous bloggers ripping her family to shreds out of sheer pettiness.

My point being that if you know this girl, Kristi, and are a genuine friend of hers, it would have been wise to have published as little info as possible about her, if any at all.
The fact that she seems to be a woman of substance - intelligent enough to have revieved a degree with Honours (obviously no bimbo) and has achieved success in the entertainment industry (on her own merit, as you say), begs the question:
WTF does she deserve this crap from you on a tabloid message board?!?
