Gerard Butler Takes Date To Arcade
Gerard Butler and a gal pal go on a date together at the Santa Monica Pier arcade on Monday night on Ocean Front Walk, Calif.
The 38-year-old Scottish star and his probable new lady love had a blast, laughing and smiling the whole time. The pair played a game of air hockey together and other fun arcade games. Looks like the twosome won quite a few games from the number of prizes tickets they’re holding!
TMZ has a video of the couple kissing. Gerry may have snagged himself a gorgeous one!

Right about what? she reads this site? I think a lot of people associated with Gerry read all his sites. …I would think they should. And I think they do consider some of the remarks made. Yes Big Brother is Watching!! The people who surround him probably just tell him what he wants to hear.
up at ya #248. I agree with you and other similar post in regards to you comment about her wanting things known. With knowing the SM pier area due to fact I spent alot of free time there while stationed in the LA area not one time did I see paps, but some celebreties.
No, havent been out there recently but spoke with those who have and it hasnt changed much in regards to it being a paps hangout. Several previous comments make sense……she is on the phone and they appear, thus approaching her………all of a sudden appeard while her and Gerry was there……freely talked with them instead of walking away….and as I also previously stated this sounds like something of a Cheryl Burke Jr., we all know what happened with that one…
If she is as it is said, intelligance would come with smarts…….respect the indivual you are with including his concern for privacy. If she is in the business and knows Gerry she knew of all this (saying they were friends), yet look what happened. As you said, someone wanted known.

I really wish he would post on here. Maybe he can explain his ungentlemanly behaviour he and his male friends have towards women. I have a dear friend who works for a company belonging to one of his closest friends, and apparently Gerry and his friends are always laugh their heads off at how ‘easy’ these fangirls/club-girls are.
True, these women have the right to sleep with whomever they want, but I simply wish these girls knew how very, very cheaply they are regarded. So who’s the wh*re? Him, for taking advantage of these women (and he has admitted to doing so in a past interview), or the girls, who are so self-deluded into thinking he’s some kind God who can never, ever, ever, do anything wrong. I can’t even blame these women if they some motive in being seen with him, as this is a two way street, isn’t it Gerry!
Yes, he may have a law degree but that doesn’t mean he has ‘life’ intelligence. In many ways he is very, very inmature. After all, he did say in Vogue magazine that he feels like he’s only 24…well, he sure seems to act like it!
Wake up Gerry. Accept the age you are, and be the fine actor you can be, and not the laughing stock you appear to be. Please, please, cut out this all this PR crap.

From what has been said, I’m not excusing these so called ‘easy’ girls, but normally how they treat one kind of female is an indicator into how they think and treat the rest over time. And you have to remember some of these girls are very ‘young’.

That makes him a manwhore. It may seem harsh, but I find it sad that women who jump in the sack with a man are shocked when he does not treat them with respect. You are begging for no respect if you act like that. It is simple. Fair or not.
Not sure why Gerry or his friends would make fun of the non-*****, but maybe they do. Who cares? I don’t know him or his friends. I do know, however, that the men I have known in my life (friends or otherwise) respect women who are not *****. Not saying you have to wait for marriage, but at least wait for a few dates. This is a basic relationship rule - tried and true.

It is not like we live in the 50’s anymore and only guys should buy condoms.I buy my own condoms and only have sex with one.

#257 I’m not so sure I would believe Gerry or his pals making blanket statements about how easy some girls are. If you know Gerry at all you know he loves girls. If someone heard a person make a statement once and they pass it off as truth - well, it’s just anecdotal. I really doubt that among them there is some group ethos of chick degradation.
I’m sad to read some of the conjecture here… but I gotta say he leaves himself open to it. I liked him a bit better when he was addicted. I hope he finds love, but from what I see lately, he’s running from it and picking up some dodgy baggage as he goes…. and building up a sizable karma debt.

Do you know Gerry? He seems to still be addicted just not to drugs or booze….just to the Hollywood lifestyle….fame, fortune, etc.
I think quite a few of us run from love….Gerry is not alone in this.

I find it hard to understand some of these comments about girls being cheap and easy when the males who use them feel free to criticize them for that. Didn’t we bury the double standard in the 60s? Women are just as much entitled to sex as men. I’m not that young, but I slept around some and had 1-night, 2-night and 3-night stands in my youth. I bed hopped with men I knew for a few hours and they were wonderful bed partners and gentlemenly They didn’t malign me or treat me with any disrespect. Sometimes we were just ships passing in the night and what we had briefly was lovely and meaningful. We gave something to each other in the passing. It all depends on how you treat other people and whether you respect them as human beings. Only once did a guy dump me after bedding (basically raping me) one night, and he was the last one I would have expected to treat me this way. If these girls are considered whores the guys who bed them are whores too. You don’t need the sobriquet “manwhore.” ***** is *****. Come on, stop bashing women for doing what men have done for generations (and women too.) If the girls are that shallow, so are the guys who bed them. Incidentally I seem vaguely to recall Mr. Butler saying he didn’t date when he was in L.A. because the women there are so shallow. This doesn’t seem to bother him now if I can believe what I read.
#272 I seem to remember something from a few years ago of GB slagging off the LA types. That was back when he was more addicted, focused, driven and intense. Maybe he’s just lowered the bar…and I’m really not hurling that at his recent lovely companion - I’m more commenting on the LA/celeb culture he seems to be swimming in.

Yes, #273 4-yrfan and #274, peaches, this is what I think too. Thank you for responding. Asked in one interview if he would date a woman older than himself GB went on about how much he LIKES older women. Clearly this would entice his older fans. And by the by, perhaps I should qualify my comments about my own past activities. Yes, I do think there is a difference between groupies who hang around bars, nightclubs and celebrity hangouts hungry to hook up with some or any celebrity, and mature women (of any age) who make conscious, discriminating decisions to have a rewarding short term relationship with a good, kind, smart, discreet, mature, sensitive man, knowing that it is short term for whatever reasons exist, but still a valuable emotional connection. Still, I think these young women are just misguided in their choices, perhaps not very bright, let alone sophisticated; they don’t deserve revile from the men who are so willing to use them. In my own life, I actually sort of regret letting down a couple of kind, caring, loving, supportive, deserving men I DIDN’T sleep with, for whatever reasons I had at the time,–fear, conflict, prudishness,–than I did accommodating the couple of men I had too many drinks with and bagged and didn’t enjoy much. Mostly I think I made intelligent choices. But like Susan Sarandan lecturing her young friend in “Bull Durham,” who complained of being “lured” into locker room sex, I say (as closely as I can recall the quote) “Women are never lured. Repeat after me, I take full responsibility for my actions.” We all make decisions every day. Sometimes they are good, sometimes not. Being deliberately reckless and feckless is something else.
Men need to do this too, by the way. When anyone pitched the double standard to me, I asked why should I want a man who has such low standards he will do anything he can get away with rather than have a moral compass of his own? Blessings.
