According to Us Weekly, Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder when first asked about her ex-husband’s partner, Angelina Jolie. Here’s what she did say on the record:
On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.
On if she ever speaks to Brad: “[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos … and congratulations on your babies… [We] had an amicable split … The marriage didn’t work out.”
On her romance with John Mayer: “People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up.”
On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

I think Brad and Angelina make a great couple and it’s hard not to respect Angelina for all the charity work that she does, but I do think they publicize their private life too much sometimes.
Giving the details about how she fell in love with Brad was a little insensitive. And I don’t understand why they would put the breastfeeding pictures in the magazine. Why would you want such private pictures available for everyone to see? I understand they gave the money to charity, but they had already released photos of the twins, and there was no need to publish additional private photos.

I don’t recall AJ bringing up anything to do with JA - she was talking bout her kids and what she would tell them about how mum and dad met - it was JA who decided to name names and dig up 4 year old stuff…
Also if Brad and Angie split - and I admit it could happen as nothing is set in stone - Angie is a much more secure and strong woman who can totally handle it - example: she’s still great friends with all her ex-husbands and lovers. Jennifer should just lay low and say nothing about her past w/ Brad. Jen should talk only about the future and her movies and TV. That is the only way the media and public will start believing in her again.

Jen’s face is not flattering, but if she did not talk about brad and Angelina, who is she really? no one would care at all, and she gets to get bumped up on the cover to DEC instead of Jan, so she keeps her name out there and she is a happy camper, after all, that’s what she wants, i thought she had more class then to be back with a man who humiliated her in front of the very people she is trying to impress, so low class and desperate, Jen you are so so sad, any way you slice it, bad move.
I suppose she had to say something because she felt it was inappropriate that Angie was candid, but the latter’s always been candid. And I read Angie’s interview, it wasn’t anything in detail. She was asked and she was just recounting her own feelings about meeting Brad. Well, Jen’s responsible for her own feelings. I suspect Angie won’t say anything in response to this unless she’s asked.

My point is to simply point out that we ought to use our good time and energy to be understanding or at very least impartial to the conditions of others. Okay, let’s look at what x is really saying here. I am not defending her. But let’s calm the emotions and look at what she is really saying. She said,

She is saying truthfully or not that what was said was uncool. Those are her feelings, truthfully or not. And if they are the truth we can’t deny her her feelings.
What is more interesting to me is what she says about Brad and the ending of their marriage.
Even so, Aniston insists her and Pitt’s divorce was never as messy as the celeb tabloids claimed.
“I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split,” she tells writer Jonathan Van Meter, who also wrote the aforementioned Jolie cover story. “It wasn’t mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can’t talk to Jen and Jen can’t talk to Brad because this person won’t allow it. It just didn’t happen. The marriage didn’t work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other.”
Aniston and Pitt even talk from time to time.
“We have exchanged a few very kind hellos and wishing you wells and sending you love and congratulations on your babies,” says Aniston, who will next be seen opposite Owen Wilson in Marley & Me. “I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and…I’m proud of him! I think he’s really done some amazing things.”
amicable split, If this is true, and she and Brad have had conversations where they have talked an iron things out. And she has called him and wished him well, regardless if she didn’t wish Angie well, and they have talked well to my way of thinking the triangle is over.
She is saying it in around about way. But she and Brad are cool like that. She is only upset about something Angie said two years ago. Nothing recent seems to be upsetting her. So if this is all there is to the article this is much to do about nothing.

Good point about Maniston telling Angelina how Brad ‘couldn’t wait to work with her.’ I agree, what is the f**king difference?! What annoys me, is the way everyone insults Jennifer Aniston!
I mean, fair enough, if you don’t like her, then that’s fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But since her Vanity Fair interview in 2005, she hasn’t mentioned Brad, his ***** or anything to do with it, she’s just tried to move on with her life. It’s the tabloid media that create all the drama!
Fact is, Jennifer and Brad were happily married, they drifted apart, kind of due to long absences (he was away for EVER making Troy) and various other indisclosed reasons. He works on Mr and Mrs Smith, and him and his ***** cleary develop feelings for each other. Anyways, him and Jennifer clearly can no longer make their marriage work, so decide to seperate, and eventually divorce. In the following months, Jennifer has to be subjected to seeing a man she still loves, flaunt his new relationship and ‘family’ everywhere. (I think you should all try and put yourself in that position before you judge) However, Brad and his *****, deny (lall lies) that they were having an affair, and that they actually got together after he split from his wife. His ***** even goes as far to say that she was brought up by a mother, whose husband (the whores dad) had always cheated. Meaning she would never want to inflict that pain on another woman, as if this is some kind of proff her and Brad DID get together after the split! LIES!
Anyways, eventually, after licking her wounds, Jennifer manages to get over it and move on. She never mentions it again, although the tabloids do, lots and lots! Then 4 years later, Brad’s ***** just randomly says she cannot wait for her children to watch Mr and Mrs Smith, because their parents fell in love whilst making it - RUDE! She’s admitted four years later her and Brad DID get together while making that film, when he was still married, something that his wife at the time was unaware of, I think Jennifer therefore has the right to be pissed off, without accusations of being a clingly woman, who has an inability to move on. She was, after all on reacting to a question posed to her by an interviewer, she could have said ‘no comment’ but she decided to give an answer, and a very good one at that, she wasn’t offensive or rude, she just simply said she thought it was ‘uncool’ which is true, because it was not only ‘uncool’ to do it in the first place, but then to bring it up 4 years later when everyone has moved on is pathetic, and to be honest, just plain spitful! Jennifer had every right to express her views on the subject!
And, as for people saying harsh things about Jennifer get a life, if you don’t like her, why read about her? In fact, you not only read about her, but then you comment as well? Seems like a waste of time when you don’t like someone, but it’s your (sad) life! Also, for those who say she is obsessed, I’m not being funny, but if you were in her position and you heard that your ex’s partner had been making confessions about how they met and ‘fell in love’ during YOUR marriage, would you not be interested to find out more? Even if to dissprove your disbelief that someone would be stupid enough to do that, and to prove it was just tabloid nonsense like most of it is, obviously she discoverd it wasn’t, and was quite hurt by the comments, even though she has been OVER IT for the past 3/4 years, it must still be a horrible thing to hear!
Anyway, I think all those who are Pro-***** are foolish, but entitled to their own opinions, if you look at it from a moral point of view, it’s quite clear to see whose right and whose wrong, but hey, people always see things differently. And for all those who are also Anti-Jennifer, then thats also fine, you are entitled to your opinions, you don’t have to like her, but at the same time, in terms of her marriage which ended 3 years ago (divorce) or 4 years ago (literally) don’t judge her and say cruel things, because thats just plain spitful and there is no real point to it. Fact is, I think it’s funny, if you actally asked people why they don’t like her, they’d say stuff like ’she’s ugly’ which is a matter of opinion, and why dislike someone for such a shallow reason anyway. You know since that movie was still filming for 5 months after their separation and even 2 months after their formal divorce papers were filed, where does this woman come off even commenting on her ex-husband’s life after they were no longer a couple? THAT is what is inappropriate.
As for Angelina discussing how enjoyable Pitt was to work with, well that is a real stretch for one actor to criticize another actor for praising a co-star’s working rapport. But then desperate people do desperate things.

Those comments were made almost 2 years ago, after Jen had made comments in every magazine and talk show she had access to. Angie was being maligned and she honestly said what was happening. Again, this was 2 FREAKING YEARS AGO, and this b**ch now want to bring it up again? She is a lose and a nutcase, and she deserves everything she is going to get from Mayer.
I am so angry that Angie is being brought into this s**t again, and I know this is not popular sentiment, but if Brad had put this da*n woman in her place years ago, she wouldn’t now feel she has the right to attack Angie again.
Angie has a right to talk about her love for her family, without worrying that this albatross will get her feelings hurt. God I hate her.
