Jennifer Aniston is red hot on the December 2008 cover of Vogue.
According to Us Weekly, Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder when first asked about her ex-husband’s partner, Angelina Jolie. Here’s what she did say on the record:
On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.
On if she ever speaks to Brad: “[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos … and congratulations on your babies… [We] had an amicable split … The marriage didn’t work out.”
On her romance with John Mayer: “People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up.”
On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

This is worse than i thought — making comments about the woman that your husband fell in love with four years ago and has six children with now, in an interview staged to promote your new movie — UNCOOL! Especially when you have been in love two or three times since then yourself? WTF. TOTALLY UNCOOL. BTW I love the cover picture, too bad the insides don’t reflect the outside.
I always knee you would come out on top Jen..class and all american beauty..keep going real women are proud of you .
I never expected Vogue to resort to this kind of sensationalism. It is 2008 not 2005. I won’t be buying this cover and future Vogue magazines for that matter.
Angie said in a post divorce interview that she started to realize that she could’nt wait to get to work, not that she couldn’t wait to get to work because she was having some torrid affair. As I read it, just like the statement of falling in love on set never once suggests anything but feelings developed. Not one thing suggest anything was acted on.

She did not want Angelina to give her version of the story because she comes off as a liar.
Remember, in that Vogue interview, Angelina CLEARLY TELLS YOU HOW IT ALL HAPPENED….from the strong trust that developed when they were training and learning how to use guns…to as time when by she started to look forward to work ….to them parting away at the end as really great friends then some(they realized that there is more to that friendship) and both playing with toys in a hotel when suddenly Maddox called Pitt - Daddy…and how each didn’t say anything at first.
Jen does not want you all to know this because it makes her caseirrelevant - that Pitt wasn’t into kids until now as per her VF interview. Well well…Pitt bonded with Maddox then Mama Maddox came aboard.

why did she feel the need to ask the reporter to turn off the recorder if she really want what she said about angie in the magazine. i don’t get it. if she doesn’t really care about what she said going to be published, why bother asking the guy to turn off his recorder.

You get the impression that JA is desperately reading all the media and tabloid stuff written about the Jolie-Pitts otherwise how would she be able to quote that Angie said she ‘couldn’t wait to go to work everyday’??
Seriously Jen, you need to get a life and MOVE ON!!! I loved you in Friends but let’s face it none of the Friends cast has managed to become a critically aclaimed movie star after the show ended including you! You made a choice in choosing a career over Brad and he made a choice in choosing Angie over you. It is sad that you can’t find love and happiness and I know the media don’t help with all the speculating everytime we see you a new man on your arms.
Please try to get over your insecurities as this is one of the main reasons Brad left and that you can’t find a new man or make us believe in your movie characters. Everyone’s looks eventually fade - you can’t depend on them forever!

I like Jennifer, and for Angeline to talk about how she fell in love with Brad while he was still married to Jennifer is unclassy for her. SHES the one who brought it up not Jennifer. And it’s not like Jennifer was the one who wrote the questions someone came up with him. Jennifer has handled everything, and just you people watch Angelina is going to lose Brad the same exact way she got him.
