Jennifer Aniston is red hot on the December 2008 cover of Vogue.
According to Us Weekly, Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder when first asked about her ex-husband’s partner, Angelina Jolie. Here’s what she did say on the record:
On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.
On if she ever speaks to Brad: “[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos … and congratulations on your babies… [We] had an amicable split … The marriage didn’t work out.”
On her romance with John Mayer: “People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up.”
On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

jolie didnot have to say that ( they fell in love on the set…) that was really UNCOOL plus it’s been years now, jolie did not need to bring it up again so i get aniston point. ( btw aniston has never mentioned her marriage since 4 years that’s why jolie was out of line)

let’s face it, we are manipulated : jolie said that because of her new movie ( challenging) and now aniston do the same for her new movie too….it’s pitiful !

Vogue is not selling mags, so I guess this is their way of pushing their crap. If I were Angelina I would not have any dealing with their publication anymore. What they did is just plain tacky. i hope this issue tank.
I think the word amicable in her head is a lie. Just the fact that she takes the time to disect what angleina is saying shows she is still bitter.
Most women would have accepted the truth and shown some more class. Jennifer still harbors bad feelings. The marriage was not working for alot of reasons and she just wanted to hold on when clearly Brad wanted to let go.
Even Oprah has noticed that Brad and Angie were meant for each other and that he is clearly happeir than he was with Jen.
Jen took take some cues from Nicole Kidman who is now married with a kid of her own with Kieth. She is happy for Tom and Katie and has never spoken bad about anyone Tom has dated.
Remember penelope Cruz was dating her husband when he was still technically married to nicole… Well Nicole is now filming a movie with her. She was a lady.
Reese ,Hillary swank, Uma Thurman are other starlets that have risen above the pettiness that Jen wallows in.

I don’t usually discuss x. But this upcoming interview in Vogue, would a mature, 40 year old woman use the word uncool is she was seriously discussing the woman she feels help cause her marital breakup? I am going to give Lamey a star on this one. x is going to have a serious break down one day. Her pr people have not served her well at all.
She seems rudderless with no one who really cares for her. Maybe she has exhausted all of her friends. You can only support a person who refuses to move on and make sensible choices for so long. People have their own lives to take care of. Her shrink dying must have pushed her to the edge. Now age, and no movie future and not knowing how to like herself and be happy will do the rest. I hope she gets her life together. I don’t like her. But I don’t hate her either.
I don’t understand the Claudia S. and David C comparison. What exactly is she trying to say? I hope Brad and Angie quickly go back to German. They seem to have peace there.
