Jennifer Aniston is red hot on the December 2008 cover of Vogue.
According to Us Weekly, Aniston asked the reporter, Jonathan Van Meter, to turn off the tape recorder when first asked about her ex-husband’s partner, Angelina Jolie. Here’s what she did say on the record:
On being bothered that Angelina recounted a detailed timeline of how she fell in love with Brad Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.
On if she ever speaks to Brad: “[We've exchanged] a few very kind hellos … and congratulations on your babies… [We] had an amicable split … The marriage didn’t work out.”
On her romance with John Mayer: “People need to mind their own business! Did you ever think Claudia Schiffer and David Copperfield made sense? Love just shows up.”
On when Mayer bragged about dumping her: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

Aniston is a regular person like all the other stars. She isn’t the one trying to appear to be saintly. She’s never tried to promote herself that way. She’s known for being very nice and having good friends and relationships with others.
Jolie’s problem is that her fans think she is perfect. They worship everything she does like she’s a god. If you notice, Jolie seems to bask in that attention. None of her statements are like “Oh, I’m just doing what many people are doing.” She never acts humbly about the praise. She takes it all in. I’ve always thought that she loves attention. She presents as very cool at media events, but isn’t very sociable in her private life. She’s guarded.
JOlie’s fans think that just because she does good things for charities, she’s somehow a very moral person who loves and cares more deeply about certain things than others in Hollywood. No, she’s just mostly passionate about kids with no parents or family and struggling single mothers because she personally connects to that feeling since her dad walked away from his family. Her do-gooding is a common response for a little girl who was deeply hurt by her parents painful divorce.
People usually connect with issues and causes that touch their own personal lives. It’s true that Jolie is doing a lot for people, but she also has a lot to give. She earns A LOT of money and it’s because she was born physically beautiful. She’s talented too but she’s gotten where she is because of her face and body–be honest. Women in acting school in NY and across the U.S. will never get the acting breaks Jolie got.
Other than that, Jolie is living in sin, Brad lives in sin and so does Aniston. Just don’t make more of them than is necessary.
Angelina started it.. she was trying to annoy jen.. i think deep down ange is insecure because she manipulated brad and thats why he left jen… jen has all the rite to talk.. she has kept quiet until now.. screw ange. and i hope to god brad leaves her for another woman… marriage is sacred. and she came between jen and brad.. she never forgave her dad when he cheated on her mom. angelina you hypocrite!

JENNIFER ANISTON RUINS EVERYTHING

Season 3 of “30 Rock” really should be subtitled “The Coming of the Guest Stars.” Since the show’s return three weeks ago we’ve had Megan Mullally (granted, not a huge name, but an NBC favorite from her stint as Karen on “Will & Grace”), Oprah Winfrey (OPRAH!), and now Jennifer Aniston. Next week it’s Steve Martin, and Salma Hayek is reportedly coming in for a guest arc in the near future.
I have no objection to guest stars, and “30 Rock” in particular has used them well - until now. Jennifer Aniston’s spot last night was terrible, and the entire show felt off. It was like the actors - Tina Fey in particular - just weren’t into it. (Her energy was so low, I have to wonder if this was filmed while she was doing double-duty as Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live.”) Even the always-reliable Alec Baldwin seemed to be going through the motions. It was joyless, and the whole thing seemed like a LOT of work. I was exhausted just watching the thing.
Aniston played Liz and Jenna’s former Chicago roommate, a deranged sexpot that Liz correctly described as “full-on ‘Fatal Attraction.’” It sounds like a meaty, gonzo role, and I think Aniston probably did the best she could with it, but…Jennifer Aniston just isn’t a very good actress. I mean, I loved Rachel on “Friends.” She was my favorite character. And I think Aniston is largely pretty good in romantic comedies. But this role called for some over-the-top stuff, and Aniston played it so safe that, to me, it felt very forced. I never believed for a second that she was crazy. Annoying, yes. Possibly a little slow. But crazy? Not really.
I should confess that my personal feelings on Aniston probably colored my opinion somewhat. I just don’t get America’s continued fascination with the woman and her romantic life, or lack thereof. Consider that Aniston hasn’t had a hit movie in more than two years (”The Break-Up,” which was surprisingly successful) and instead has a string of duds to her name. She’s got a dog movie coming out for Christmas. A DOG MOVIE. And yet almost every week her face is splashed across 80 percent of the tabloids at the supermarket with a headline along the lines of “Jen’s pain” or something. She got dumped three years ago. And she’s STILL milking it in the newest Vogue. I can appreciate a bad-news buffet as much as the next schadenfruedic jackass, but enough is enough, lady.
I have a story….a future story……
A year from now, Jen and John will be splitsville. John is seeing some new “young thing” preferable a blond since he has a weakness for pretty young things who have air for brains. Jen will be paired with someone new who would later dump her behind again. She will still be making some B or C- rated films. And then bring up Angelina and Brad to promote her film. How many years now? 4, 5, 6 years? I lost count but Jen will continue to use Brad and Angie as a way to promote her lame movies. 20 yrs. from now, even when she is 60, she will still bring up the fact that “Angelina did this…she did that….and it was all uncool”. Maddox Jolie-Pitt will be interview and he will tell Jen to STFU in print!
I like Jennifer. At least she seems genuine. Ang and Brad seem to enjoy to spot light too much and I’m SICK of hearing about them. Who cares if they have more kids or what’s up in their lives? It’s no coincidence that they wind up on the cover of so many tabloids. They seek it out! The pics are too posed (not pics of them hiding like you used to see of B. Spears). Brad WAS married when he and Ang got together and that’s wrong. They should’ve waited til he was divorced. But then Ang went and lied about it too. As if we didn’t already know the truth! Jen has a right to say whatever she wants. Brad and Ang certainly didn’t consider her feelings. I can only hope B and A are better people now than they were then b/c their children deserve better. Doing charity work does NOT make you a good person. Living an honest life everyday does!

The cake that Oprah showed that Jen made on her show is actually being showed on John Mayer’s website. I thought it sweet; he thought enough of her cake baking abilities to show it.
In recent interviews and stories, I am starting to see a new John, or another side to him and I have to say I am beginning to like him. But of course it is still Aniston’s choice on who she dates and finds happiness with. I am happy that she is happy.
I think Jen had every every right to speak out, and it was about time. AJ is most definitely jealous of jen b/c everyone speaks so well of Jen. It was not called for what angie had said about the past. Angie is a hurtful person and she’s on a crusade with jen..

The thing about Jolie fans is that they have not noticed or get the fact that Jennifer Aniston’s life has changed. Really changed. She doesn’t need a man to define who she is. She has grown so much over the past four years.
The fans of J/P are ones that find the need to compare Aniston and Jolie or Aniston and Pitt. Who in the heck cares? She isn’t them and never was! She started a production company once again, and she is happy in pursuing stories that are “women gaining strength roles”. Why? Because she has been there, done that, that is why! I am proud of her and certainly proud of being a fan of hers. Who the heck are some of you dictating to her what she needs to do with her life? Good grief! Will that change anything in your eyes? I think not.
Shame on you. She is unique in her own way. Down to earth, jean wearing, honest and funny. Go back to your thread and quit worrying about Aniston. She is just fine and is not a threat to your lives what-so-ever.

Either this Jen Aniston is a pathological LIAR or she has a terrible memory. Let us hear what her best friends had to say about 2004 and 2005 - about what she knew then that she is now professing not to have known.

Aniston is still not over Brad Pitt at all. Why would she talk about him and praise him in public. She is a scorned and bitter woman who does not know when to shut up. I always thought she was a phony with a big chin. No matter what happens to her in the future, she will always be known as the ex wife of Brad Pitt. I really hope she does get married with children because she needs to know what true happiness should be like.
