OlderNicole Kidman Shows Off Sunday Rose On Oprah
On Monday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Nicole Kidman whipped out a photo of her daughter, Sunday Rose, from her wallet.
On describing the photo: “[My husband Keith Urban] took this, it was on his iPhone and I made him print the photo. That’s my baby, that’s her sleeping.”
On her father coming up with half of Sunday Rose’s unique name when he mentioned Sunday Reed, a patron of the arts: “And we went, ‘Oh, we love that day’—that’s our favorite day because I think there’s something to do with Sundays where if you’re lonely, Sundays are a very lonely day. And if you’re happy and you’ve got your family and the things around you, then Sunday’s a beautiful day. So our baby’s called Sunday.”
On being stunned when she found out she was pregnant: “I call her a miracle baby because it was a miracle that I, at this age, had spent so many years trying to get [pregnant] just thought, ‘Well, it’s not my path—that’s not what I’m going to get to experience.’”
On her other kids, Bella and Connor, adjusting well to the new addition: “They have Suri, so they have got now just another baby sister. But they’re very used to having children around. They’ve had kids around them because they grew up with cousins, Suri and now Sunday Rose.”

awww, I loved the lil pic of Sunday n Nicole ,it was beautiful . I cried when Nicole was talking about Sunday and KEITH! SHE LOVES them both so much,you can see it in her eyes!

That was a really great and candid interview. Nicole seemed so relaxed and natural….she even at one point didn’t realize their conversation was part of the show.
The picture is so precious and innocent. That was very gracious to share with the world.
So enjoyed the interview on Oprah..today on Good Morning America(HJ was on) they said Nicole will be on tomorrow(Wednesday,CMA day…busy schedule for them right now.

Nic was there to talk about the movie on a show with Hugh Jackman and Oprah only wanted one thing, baby-talk, It was very cute and you tell they were old friends.
Oprah asked for a pic and Nicole said she didn’t bring one out, she had brought a snapshot to show Oprah before the show, but then hadn’t run into her backstage.
Oprah then asked for the pic and Nic said it was in her wallet. Oprah then yelled, “someone get the wallet!
Then Nic went through her wallet and handed the pic facing away to Oprah, Oprah then put in on camera as Nic tried to grab it back.
It was playful, but Oprah exposed the baby to the world, not Nic.
I always wondered if they named her Sunday because “Raining on Sunday” was one of Keith’s first big hits… and is a beautiful song.

I saw Nicole in Nashville last week at the grocery, everyone leaving her alone and in peace.

some of you are so sad suri was not sold people hated tom and katie for keeping thier baby private but you hail nicole they both showed thier baby the same age suri is adorable and tom and katie are wonderful babies everybody shows thier baby now jenn gardner shows hers all the time so does alba get over the hate they are no more in love than tom and katie you can say good things about sunday without lashing out about another wonderful family peace
