OlderNicole Kidman Shows Off Sunday Rose On Oprah
On Monday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Nicole Kidman whipped out a photo of her daughter, Sunday Rose, from her wallet.
On describing the photo: “[My husband Keith Urban] took this, it was on his iPhone and I made him print the photo. That’s my baby, that’s her sleeping.”
On her father coming up with half of Sunday Rose’s unique name when he mentioned Sunday Reed, a patron of the arts: “And we went, ‘Oh, we love that day’—that’s our favorite day because I think there’s something to do with Sundays where if you’re lonely, Sundays are a very lonely day. And if you’re happy and you’ve got your family and the things around you, then Sunday’s a beautiful day. So our baby’s called Sunday.”
On being stunned when she found out she was pregnant: “I call her a miracle baby because it was a miracle that I, at this age, had spent so many years trying to get [pregnant] just thought, ‘Well, it’s not my path—that’s not what I’m going to get to experience.’”
On her other kids, Bella and Connor, adjusting well to the new addition: “They have Suri, so they have got now just another baby sister. But they’re very used to having children around. They’ve had kids around them because they grew up with cousins, Suri and now Sunday Rose.”

#120 Please you obviously are not seeing what most other people are seeing. You can tell Suri doesn’t like the paps but yet they make her face them anyway and do you really think they are not making some type of money off all those pictures taken of her.
So this woman goes on the radio in Oz, and asks the paps to leave them alone - respect their privacy. They want to protect Sunday from being photographed, and they refuse to sell her pictures to a magazine because they were low-balled on a money offer.
So with that being said, Kidman goes on Oprah and displays her baby’s picture for millions to see - not to mention the fallout afterwards where the picture would be displayed on sites like Just Jared. So much for protecting your baby’s privacy, KIdman. Was promoting this movie THAT imporant to you that you needed to use your baby girl?

I am glad that she showed a picture of Sunday Rose this way. It was done on her own time, when and where she wanted to show her off to the world. Do you all really think that this picture of Nicole and Sunday Rose is going to make people see her film if they had no intention of it? Get Real!! I agree, this is 100% different from being dogged by the photogs yelling “nicole, nicole!” and snap, snap, snap and shoving a camera at them and snap some more!
Yuk (#8)… During the interview, right after Oprah asked Nicole whether she had a photo of Sunday Rose to let her admire, Nicole had said that she did bring a photo; but initially wanted to show Oprah before the show aired, but she (Nicole) was unable to catch Oprah before the show started. Nicole isn’t trying to promote the movie with her child’s photo; during the entire promotion of Nicole and Hugh’s appearance on the Oprah show, they never mentioned that Sunday Rose’s photo would be released. If it was never notified, then how is Nicole trying to use her baby to promote the movie? If anything, if Oprah made the audience clear that Monday’s show was the revealing of Sunday’s first photo, then wouldn’t it only boost Oprah’s show rating, rather than the movie (which, BTW, has no connection to Sunday)!

It’s great that she and Keith didn’t sell her picture. They’re both just genuinely nice people.
Sweet picture, Nicole looks natural and even prettier here then she does when she’s all made up. Sunday looks to be a pretty baby but it’s kinda hard to be sure, she does look to have more Keith’s nose than Nicole’s.
Taylor and Selena are my two fave celebs! They are both so awesome and down to earth and are really good role models!! Love you both!!
