Daniel Craig and girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell take the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Institute benefit screening of Quantum of Solace at New York City’s AMC Lincoln Square theater on Tuesday night.
Joining the couple on the red carpet: Debra Messing, Becki Newton, Julia Stiles and Molly Sims. Everyone headed to Tavern on the Green afterwards — complete with signature Bond Smirnoff cocktails (Smirnoff sponsored the event).
Other pictures include Daniel and Satsuki attending the Quantum of Solace premiere at the Palau de las Arts in Valencia, Spain last Thursday.
The latest Bond movie (finally) opens in U.S. theaters nationwide this Friday.

Sorry can’t see this man being a dad again..no insult to him but if he has a kid next year, that kid will be 10 when he’s 51.
I’m sure he’s a good dad to a teenager and he is still young (look at his own father) but Daniel looks the type to want to sit back and smoke cigars, drink fine wine and eat tons of pasta in some vineyard (that he owns) instead of doing the baby thing again.
Satsuki must be getting what she wants though or being promised it as Heike left a great lifestyle because she wanted a marriage/baby. Look at Terri Seymour and Simon Cowell, she dumped him finally because fo the same thing. I guess some women can leave a cushy life.
Although I’m sure seeing him carry around a young baby will make him 1000 times more sexier and I can’t forsee Sastuki going anywhere.

I believe Daniel will make a great father, if that is what he wants. No she won’t go anywhere, but where ever Daniel is. She must be promised a wedding as she is looking so much happier these days. So does Daniel. They both look good in these pictures, especially Daniel. Her dress is nice but looks a little big for her (on the chest area) If it looks like he is dragging her behind, maybe it is because she can’t walk as fast as he does in her heels, and he won’t let go of her hand. I give her 60/100 for that black dress and 70/100 for the teal dress. It is a great color for her but much too much material for skinny gal.

The debut of Daniel Craig as 007 in Casino Royale marked the first worthwhile James Bond movie in nearly two decades but, as with most franchise reboots, it carried a whiff of apology for the sins of an earlier era. Bond was not only pummeled in the balls (that torture scene, taken from the novel, was right up Ian Fleming’s sadistic alley) but walloped in the heart as well, devastated by the death of a woman he grew to (gasp!) love. The drowning of Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) promised to be the scripting team’s sensitive-man justification for Bond’s future frostiness and lechery. So let the shooting and rutting begin! Right, James?
Not so fast. The new Bond picture, Quantum of Solace, is directed by Marc Forster, who has a weakness for teary melodrama (Finding Neverland, The Kite Runner), and it is a wholly original scenario, with the title taken from Fleming’s short story in which a group of agents exchange their favorite shaggy-dog stories about the British spy. This story must be called “James Bond Sulks and Gets Sloshed, But Still Kills People.” How else to explain why Craig suffers from insomnia in the back of a chartered jet, sips his seventh straight dry martini and tries manfully not to cry? He seems shaken, all right.
This sort of thing, coupled with Bond going as rogue as Sarah Palin in order to get revenge on Vesper’s murderers, gives Quantum an unfortunate air of espionage as therapy. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad watch. From the catchy theme song by Jack White and Alicia Keys to a suitably vindictive fate for its villain, Quantum is still a very good Bond movie. Craig continues to be an ideal casting choice, and Forster rivals the electrifying pace of the previous film.
What else would you like to know?
There are two new girls (brunette Olga Kurylenko and the spectacular redhead Gemma Arterton), one of whom meets a crude fate that suggests the alternate title Oilfinger. There’s a fight scene in the middle of an avant-garde performance of Puccini’s “Tosca.” Mathieu Amalric plays a baddie who is so much like Roman Polanski that I don’t see why Forster didn’t just hire Roman Polanski. The megalomaniac fronts as an environmentally friendly industrialist, and the action culminates in a desert resort that is no doubt LEED certified but does not seem to meet fire code. Hotels are very important to this Bond, who reserves his harshest contempt for two targets: the puffy American intelligence agents (who coddle dictators and refuse to be swayed by new information) and the thought of staying the night in anything less than four-star accommodations.
James Bond, scornful of America and second-rate comforts? He’s back to his old self.

Daniel’s true colours were seen when he literally ‘grabbed’ gifts given by Wossie on FNWJR and then was reluctant to part with his ’sponsored’ watch, even if it was just for show. When Craig finally handed the watch over, Ross turned the table on him and announced that the Bond watch would be auctioned off for Children In Need.

no i was not there at conception. you dont have to be a military genius to figure out the program here. daniel has just bought a home in regents park here in london. the workmen are working overtime to finish the nursery. there are now rumors that daniel and satsuki have hired a nanny; not unusual.
if you want a good nanny you have to hire one early on, sometimes before you actually get pregnant. daniel has said he wants another child with satsuki; he’s ready for one. and he has no projects lined up for the next 6 months, his choice. it stands to reason that one could surmise that for the next 6 months daniel and satsuki will be working on having a baby.

At the end of the day does it really matter to any of us if Daniel and Satsuki get married and have children?? He is entitled to a life like the rest of us. If he’s happy and found the ONE which i think he has with Satsuki then be happy and accept it.
You can’t expect the poor guy to stay single to keep some of his female fans fantasies alive!!
He will still have his talent, he will still be gorgeous and sexy and he will still be Daniel.So it will take nothing away from him.
None of us know what Satsuki is like as a person all we see/have is photos, rumours and gossip. Not very reliable in my books. So don’t be too quick and harsh to judge her. She is unique and beautiful take the time to actually look at her in photos. She may not be photogenic in some of the photos, but alot of people aren’t so don’t hold it against her.

Satsuki just doesn’t have alot of flesh on her upper body. I am the same except i have brest implants but i had even smaller breasts than Satsuki does. She does have breats but like i use to, struggles to get a good cleavage without the help of a good padded bra!! She is also broad across the shoulders which i am also.

Daniel Craig will make his third appearance in the role. It WILL NOT be a direct continuation of bond 22. Bond 23 was scheduled for a worldwide release in 2010. Michael G. Wilson at first felt he might delay the film by another year, as the 22nd film left him exhausted. now apparently he has changed his mind, and now the 2010 date for world wide release is now back on the table. however, as we all know the release date could change again. that’s the fun part about this industry; nothing is ever certain until the project is completed.
Quantum of Solace director Marc Forster said he will not return to direct Jeffrey Wright has said that he is open to playing felix again, under the right conditions. since bond 23 will not be a continuation don’t expect olga to come back. judi dench certainly may come back.
moneypenny and q are definite maybes, daniel has made no secret that he wants the two of them back.
also, i’ve spoken to my boss and to his knowledge daniel HAS NOT SIGNED on to any project that begins in the next 6 months at this time. i should tell you that my boss is very knowlegable on these matters. when a project is discussed and decided upon not only financing is an issue but also the pr surrounding the project. that’s not to say that daniel could not sign on to one in the near furture.

Why are people so upset at the fact that Satsuki and Daniel are getting married and planning to have a family? He has stated in many interviews that he loves her, she is his girl etc. I know he said marriage maynot happen soon but maybe he changed his mind. daniel looks wonderful. what happened to satsuki?? what was she thinking?? this is definitely two for two. she was both beautiful and elegant at the premieres in london and spain. she was alright in berlin but here she is a postive nightmare. this dress is truely repulsive; on a par with the horrible grey one with silver things all over it and the dress she wore to the australian premiere of casino royale.

I saw QOS and was so dissappointed. I noticed there was a character named Criag Mitchell, obviously done for Satsuki and one named Green possibly done for Eva. Daniel is a good actor but the movie was not that great.

I think he will get married as he has invested so much in this relationship. If his gf is pregnant then he has made the same mistake twice. Being married and having a child did not stop him leaving last time. As for being family orientated. Any father who looks to get married in thier child’s GCSE year and claims to be close has a lot to learn about fatherhood. But I do question how close he is to his child. He spent last Xmas abroad, the last six months filming and a large part of the school summer holidays on holiday. He rarely mentions his daughter but has made sure in the past that she has not felt left out. If all his family attended QOS did she? Since the marraige question has arisen he has never mentioned her. Having a child means life long committment not to be put aside when you move on. Maybe this man is not as nice as he and the rest of us would like to make. Then again I would be interested in everybody else’s comments
iirc his daughter is now of legal age in england and maybe just maybe he was waiting for this time to come to marry sats. did he have joint custody of his daughter? so now with her of legal age he’s free to go on with his life with sats and start another family. OTOH his daughter is free to go with her life as well. they will always be father and daughter, nothing, not even starting a new family with sats will change that.

I think Daniel is the one who is insecure, when you look at the recent red carpet pics Satsuki looks comfortable, happy, relaxed and confident. But Daniel is still looking uncomfortable in some pics and clinging to Satsuki for dear life!! She is like his security blanket.
Many websites including Lainey have mentioned how he is the clingy one. Holding on to her very tightly and refusing to let go of her. I think he needs her more than she needs him. He seems to want her by his side acting like his security blanket 24/7. If she’s happy to do so then good luck to them.

Satsuki is not ugly and she certainly does not look like a man in a dress. I’ve never undertsood why people say that. Yes she has a slim, athletic body but she does look like a woman.
Just check out those big brown eyes, the beautiful smile, and that gorgeous man on her arm who probably worships the ground she walks on!! Satsuki is one very, very, very lucky lady!!

To Tigerlilly, no she is not ugly nor looks like a guy in a dress, but you have to admit (or maybe you won’t) that when she is off the red carpit she does not try very hard to look good. She is out with the most gorgeous man in the world (do we not agree?), she should try a little harder. She must know people - like us - are talking about her. i agree daniel loves sats no matter what. she’s a pretty girl; she was both beautiful and elegant at the premieres in london and spain. she was alright in berlin; but she was a nightmare in sydney. i just wish she was consistent in the way she dresses.
i recently met a woman here in los angeles who used to be the stylist for audrey hepurn, and we all know beautiful and elegant she always looked both on/off the red carpet. this dear lady says that satsuki has the same bone structure that audrey had; all sats has to do is look at how audrey dressed and copy that style. then sats will always look both beautiful and elegant on/off the red carpet.
the lady also suggested that satsuki do something with her hair, in almost every picture this lady has seen it’s a mess. no more colored bras under white shirts please, and if she must go braless make sure no one can see.
