I was at the Melbourne Premiere! It was fantastic! Vanessa, Zac and Ashley all looked amazing! They were all so friendly, signing autographs and I even got a photo with Vanessa!

ok When I look at some of these pictures Zac’s hand looks to be lower on ashley then on Vanessa. Or is that because he is standing closer to Vanessa then ashley. time will tell.

My word, I thought exactly the same thing when I read that post ( I love Catherine Zeta-Jones and I hope V gets to do a movie with her someday).

Sometimes, when I read posts here, I wish these so-called fans would get so annoyed and irritated with ZV that they stop being fans and disappear but THEY WILL NOT NOT GO!!!

Talk about ZV being like a drug! Other Disney stars are involved in relationships but non-fans and dissatisfied fans refuse to budge from ZV.

I thought that many would disappear and move over to the JB and their relationship drama, yet they refuse to leave ZV alone.

It is laughable how some of you were so intent on having everyone read the lies written in the Mirror that you had to print it in your comments. The day before they did one on Zac where certain things were not exactly true either.

In Zac’s it made it sound like his parents pushed him into this and that his parents would like to him when they would take him for an audition. Zac himself has said his mom would drive him to an audition 3 hours each way to LA—he said this on shows like Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel—so I seriously doubt Zac was in the dark as to where he was going. He even said just before HSM came along that his parents has said the would give him just a few more months to try acting and if nothing panned out then he was getting ready to go off to college.

Vanessa’s article is saying her mother speaks very little English—do all of you really believe that is true? Many a fan has met Vanessa’s mom and dad and none of them have mentioned having any difficulty communicating with Gina. And she has been in this country for at least 20 years with a husband that speaks English. Why if Vanessa’s mom doesn’t speak much English it is that Vanessa speaks NONE of her mom native tongue? Also it says she is always saying that Zac is hot—She has said that once recently on the Ellen show a couple weeks ago…

Vanessa looks drop-dead gorgeous and much healthier, she’s glowing again. She does look like she’s lost weight though, but not in a bad way. I saw her when she came to our state fair, and she’s so tiny! But talented, and such a sweetheart. She thanked us all for coming, and you could tell that she really meant it. I dragged my friend there, and at first she didn’t want to go, but towards the end, she was almost as into it as I was! I didn’t get to actually meet Vanessa, but she really knows how to work a crowd like a true performer.

Ashley looks better than before, but still obviously plain standing next to Vanessa. There’s nothing she can wear or do that will change that, but at least her stylist is finally doing his or her job. She was a mess just a few months back, in the summer. The hair helps, so does the fact that she’s no longer trying as hard to dress like Vanessa, because while imitation is the highest form of flattery, only Vanessa can pull off certain looks.

Zanessa is beautiful, but I really don’t spend as much time thinking about them as I used to. I’m more interested in Vanessa as a person than her as one-half of a couple. With time, I hope other fans will begin to feel the same way.

I totally agree with you Katherine #182. I hope in the future all ZV fans will start to appreciate them as individuals. Both of them are soo talented in their own way.

I started to be interested in them when zanessa happen, I wasn’t even a HSM lover. In HSM2, I just like to watch the chemistry they share. But as time goes by I started to notice what’s so great about HSM, it’s not about singing, cast or the dancing. It’s the feeling of being young & folish again, being able to dream what high school trully represents, HOPE. HSM has given that hope to all it’s casts and crews.

Or perhaps Zac and Vanessa after being blinded by flashbulbs the past several weeks and being annoyed with paps at the airport over the same period of time decided not be be seen coming through the airport at the same time. I’m sure they feel that the fans have had enough pictures at this point that they can do one of their “dodge the paps” routine this time around. The security at LAX have said any celebrity that would let them have notice that they would get them through the airport so they could avoid being bothered. There was a story about that on Access a few months ago. The security even used Vanessa as an example saying they had done it for her recently (at that time) and it was easy with her since she was so tiny. It was around the time of the Teen Choice Awards and sure enough she was not spotted coming into LAX even though she flew in for the awards even though she was on her tour at the time. They must have gotten her through the airport in record time and to the awards so she was not late. Maybe she let herself be seen coming in while the security got Zac out under the radar of the paps. I’m sure they are exhausted.

#293 ….I’ve read an interview shared by friends here that Zac wanted at least to stay a bit and go surfing at a famous beach there, but the tour is almost so he is not sure if he will stay.

If that is true and change his plans, good for him. He deserves a nice break from the grueling promo tour and so does Vanessa, relaxing with the family and enjoying stella’s birthday. I just hope the paps won’t hound them for the time being.

I agree. I think fans put more unrealistic pressure on them than the media. I don’t understand why it should be an issue that she returned alone for her sister’s birthday.

I’m even more annoyed that fans expect them to be joined at the hip, never doing anything without the other, that is unrealistic even for older married couples. Michelle Obama and her husband arrived separately for a meeting at the White house and left separately as she had other business to attend to and nobody raised an eyebrow.

Love that picture tiptoes and yes, Gabriella did have tears in her eyes when Troy said he “chose” her basically. It was so sweet that he truly declares his love, his hopes for the future with her in that scene. NOW, if someone could just find a video of that scene where he makes that speech I would be in heaven. I have been trying to find one for days as even those I love Right Here, Right Now, Can I Have This Dance, and I Just Want To Be WIth You, that particular scene just makes me well up every time.

Love that picture to you can rally see how emotional that scene was for Vanessa and also at the very end when it’s the original 6 of them and they show each one that brought atear to mine and my daughter’s eye at the pictures.

Also one of the parts that Katie liked when was Troy was doing his speech at the end and included some of the other cast to that was really nice, again you could just tell that the part about once a wildcat always a wildcat and making friends for life was truly meant. There was definetly a lot of true emotions coming through the screen on this one. She can’t wait for it to come out on DVD she’s having the cd soundtrack as part of her 18th birthday in two weeks. So in all we both had a few tears in our eyes by the time the curtain came down on HSM3 and I’m not ashamed to admit it, it’s been great to enjoy a film that does’nt involve swearing, endless sex, drug taking but a good film that both myself and daughter could enjoy watching together.

I hope that Zac and Vanessa do get to do Japan on their own to finsish the promotion off and what a way to end the year. Then before we know it their both have their other film premiers to go to 17 Again which I’m really lookingforward to as I love watching Matthew Perry he cracks me up and of course Vanessa’s next film, hope both of them do well for them and lookforward to seeing them both in many more films to come and of course more music from Vanessa.

I always felt Disney and Kenny Ortega most important casts are Zac and Ashley. Don’t get me wrong, Disney and Kenny Ortega do treat the other casts fairly and good; however, Zac and Ashley get more of the deal then the other casts. Disney and Kenny Ortega did say that without Zac, HSM3 will not be a success. Of course, Ashley is Disney darling princess, and she is very important to them. As far as Vanessa, Lucas, Lucas and Monique are just underrated actors for Disney and Kenny Ortega. HSM1 is more like an experiment to see how the fans react to it, and they probably didn’t think it became real huge. After that, Disney and Kenny Ortega figure that Zac is the pretty boy/poster boy looks that attracts many tweens/teens girls. They just swept Vanessa under the carpet for HSM2, because Ashley is basically Disney product from “Suite Life of Z & C” and needed to satisfy and justify her. Therefore, HSM2 is written to show more of Ashley and Zac. Disney and Kenny Ortega didn’t know that Zac and Vanessa have falling in love with each other during the first HSM, and they did not know about the two dating each other. It was until after HSM2 came out, that is when everyone found out about it. For HSM3, I believe that Zac has some saying to the script by making sure that Vanessa is more involved in the movie. Zac did say that he will do HSM3 depending on the script is.

The only reason that Disney and Kenny Ortega needed Corbin and Monique are dancing. Vanessa and Lucas for vocal and dancing. I think Disney and Kenny Ortega’s judgements on rating acting talents are done very poorly. The type of acting that they want are overly done, obnoxious, tasteless, forced, fake looking, very animated and over exaggerated. Look at the way the adults roles of acting were directed…like Coach Bolton and Ms. Darbus are very animated and over exaggerated. Mrs. Bolton and Ms. Montez are more realistic people. Vanessa, Corbin, Monique, Kelsi, and Lucas characters are very realistic to actual life. As long as Zac is not paired with Ashley, his acting is realistic. I remember in HSM2, when Zac is paired with Ashley, his acting become exaggerated and not natural. Vanessa, Corbin, Monique, Kelsi, and Lucas actings are very natural, seem more like real, and not force. Ashley looks like she is forcing herself that does not look natural, and she still has the Maddie’s character built in with Sharpay. One critic pointed that Zac’s acting as Lark in Hairspray is still Troy in HSM. I think that is how Disney wants their actors to be overly exaggerated, loude, over acted, and very animated, which it probably appeals to kiddies and tweens. I guess when the critics are rating it by looking at the Disney kids prospective, and that is probably why Ashley has couple of good rating.

After watching other filming works of Vanessa, Lucas, and Corbin…these three have very wide range of acting skills, and plus their characters in other roles do not resemble their HSM characters. I am more impress with these three than Zac. Zac has the poster boy/pretty boy attraction like any hearthrop in the past, and of course he has the personalities that everyone loves. Lucas and Corbin do not have the heartthrob status, and they have to work harder. I could see Lucas as another Michael Keaton. Corbin could be another Denzel Washington. Vanessa has the Angelina Joline and Catherine Zeta-Jones status and acting structures. Monique is actually 27 years old and playing a high school character, and I thought she should be given a hugh credit for that. I am really hoping that these four Vanessa, Lucas, Corbin, and Monique stay far far away from Disney and move on to more doing more mature and serious acting that really appeals to at least for the crowd of mature age 16 and over - in other people that could walk in to movies without adults to babysit and controling their behaviors.

I am looking forward to see Vanessa, Lucas, Corbin, and Monique next feature movies…big or small roles. Zac has already charmed his way in and will be doing fine. Ashley will always have Disney backing. In order to get more movie roles and projects,Vanessa, Lucas, Corbin, and Monique have to lot work harder than Zac and Ashley. Wishing Vanessa, Lucas, Corbin, and Monique the very best.

I agree that Disney does portray over the top characters in most of their movies. My opinion is that when Zac is put next to Ashley in hsm, he is required to be part of the comedic scene and therefore has to act accordingly. I thought Vanessa was good as the dumb impressionable student on the suite life of Zack and Cody. I just feel Vanessa needs a breakout movie role to prove herself. The other is of course, Corbin. Like Vanessa, he was always smiling in Jump which I thought was not neccessary.

Ashley as has been mentioned has strong ties with Disney and they’re developing something for her. Zac has already something (Footloose) in the works. Lucas, not to worry, will do well in Broadway if he chooses. Monique is very mature and intelligent and I feel that she knows what she is doing and no doubt she will make it. I don’t know but I still feel the underdog here is Vanessa. I feel that she has a lot more hurdles to overcome. One is being from the very beginning because of ignorance she was ill advised in her contracts and decision making. I will not blame her parents who I feel were just as ignorant partly because of who they are. I know how it is if you are not savvy in the entertainment business and not know the right people, they can take you to the cleaners and leave you high and dry. Zac and Ashley had all the right connections and people in the business and that is why they are both financially secure and better off than Vanessa. This is just my opinion and correct me if I’m wrong.
