OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

- firstly : he was upset too, not just taylor. HIS feelings came across the wrong way..and she took it badly. IT’s not he had a choice. He didn’t feel comfortable about the whole thing. AND who would stay in a relationship, where your not happy, or doesn’t love the person back.
I don’t blame him, after TAYLOR did.
AS her first real relationship - she should have shown respect AFTER ward. IF she keeps hoping for LOVE and expecting the right person..

Alright, wooow, Taylor has made it seem like Joe is a TERRIBLE guy, he isn’t. Joe really Does NOT seem like the type of guy to cheat. I feel bad for him, there is all these rumors going around. Ummm, Taylor never actually said he cheated on her. She said Joe and Camilla have been together since they broke up and that’s why they broke up so that Joe could be with Camilla. Now I know a lot of you haven’t ever even had a date but let me tell you when a guy trades you in for another girl… it hurts bad! That’s why Taylor is so mad. Because she got dumped for another girl. I went through that with my ex-BF and I cried for like a month. Joe is an idiot. He might not be a cheater but boy he really likes to go through a lot of girls really fast!! I think he has ADD. Maybe he needs help.
