OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

ok i love joe and the jonas brothers but if he cheated on her then he needs to fess up to it and taylor is an amazing singer and i dont know why he broke up with her for camilla.
I have to say that I very much team Taylor on this issue and here’s why:
I have nothing against Joe and I get where he’s coming from with his whole ‘a conversation can only last as long as the other person lets it’ thing, but I don’t think that’s the point. I would hang up on him too if I were Taylor because it’s just wrong that he broke up with her over the phone.
I don’t care how long the phone call was, if he ever really cared about her he should have waited until he was back from where ever so he could tell her in person. I just hope he didn’t cheat on her because then I would have something against him because I know how that feels.

Joe simply called to dicuss feeling and stupid taylor didn’t like someone saying something that wasnt gonna go her way so she hung up and has been sharing this with the world making fun of joe and stealing the fans of the jonas brothers that they spend 24/7 working for and she just grabs barbie dolls and makes fun of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do truely & honestly believe joe . he has been nothing but good to his friends & fans. why turn against him now when someone u dont even know gets jealousy over him. ? yea we may not know joe but come on he was raised better than that .
