OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

1) joe jonas NEVER talks about his private life and that is why he uses the “maybes” and “perhaps”. that is also why its in a blog his personal life is PERSONAL.
2) if anyone was immature its taylor swift. i mean really dolls and youtube videos and shes the one saying everything,
3)when your touring in england its a little hard to fly to LA and back just to breakup with someone.
4)if he is dating camilla belle either dont care or be happy for them
5)im tired of hearing that joe is a cheater or heartless or a hoe you dont know them(JB) dont say anything. same goes for the miley and nick thing sometimes relationships dont work
6)obviously they try to know a girl before it being’official’ because they try to keep it a secret.

I agree with you in some way but i think it is betther breaking up over the phone rather than someone leading you on.He was basicly helping taylor. Because if he would have waited until they saw eactother again, he could of hated her. Plus I do not think it was appropriate for her to talk about not only her’s but his personal life too. Sometime revenge is not always sweet.
i belive him some may say he’s a heartbreaker but it better than him leading her on.
