OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

i do believe joe but ok! mag changed their quote on her so she is just sad just like any other girl after a break up. he does admit that he had a change of heart. what girl wants to hear that her bf is over her and likes someone else so i don’t blame her.

Let’s read Joe’s response and see if Taylor is telling the truth…
1. Joe broke up with her over the phone - True, he admits this and this is pretty nasty thing to do to a girl. Put yourself in her place.
2. Joe broke her heart - True, he says he was telling her things she didn’t want to hear, hmmm, like breaking her heart?
3. Joe started dating Camilla and that’s why they broke up. - True , isn’t that what he means by “the heart moves on”? C’mon girls that’s a guy’s way of saying “I wanted to dump her because I met another girl”.
4. Taylor is telling the truth. All the things she has said are true by his own account. He can spin it all he wants but we all know Taylor is not a liar or a drama queen. She got dumped for another girl and that hurts.

idk that joe actually wrote that out. I mean i think a publicicst did it for him and he was just feeling that way. Still this doesnt justify what he did. He said he had a change of heart doesnt that mean he cheated on taylor with his heart? Even though it wasnt physical it had to have been emotional cheating i mean they made lovebug when late august early september so he was involved with camilla back while he was still with taylor. I agree with that person that said disney is pissed cuz look at all the people turning on joe.

And for all those who are saying “yea well he still broke up with her on the phone!” UM! ok breaking up in person is the HARDEST! That was the best thing! PLUS he was in Europe so he couldn’t do it in person, and like he says..it’s personal. There was something more to it that we don’t know.
I hope the best for Joe. I hope he finds that girl that will stand by his side through the ups and downs..
