OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

it is already hard when someone breaks up with u in person, could u imagine how she felt when he broke up with her over the freaking phone? at least he could have waited to get back and tell her everything in her face.. but oh well, i think he’s not man enough to do that, right?
Let’s read Joe’s response and see if Taylor is telling the truth…
1. Joe broke up with her over the phone - True, he admits this and this is pretty nasty thing to do to a girl. Put yourself in her place.
2. Joe broke her heart - True, he says he was telling her things she didn’t want to hear, hmmm, like breaking her heart?
3. Joe started dating Camilla and that’s why they broke up. - True , isn’t that what he means by “the heart moves on”? C’mon girls that’s a guy’s way of saying “I wanted to dump her because I met another girl”.
4. Taylor is telling the truth. All the things she has said are true by his own account. He can spin it all he wants but we all know Taylor is not a liar or a drama queen. She got dumped for another girl and that hurts.

Joe is awesome. For a guy that never confirms or comes out and say yes I’m dating so and so to come out and say look this is not how it happen is awesome in my book. I don’t know what happened between him and taylor but it just goes to show there is two sides to the story and who knows if taylor actually said what she reportedly in some magazine it could be twisted up just like things that celebrity’s say always get twisted up and re-worded just to make a huge headline and sell copies.
I think that its their personal life and I am not of fan of either one of them because who they date or anything that happens in their personal life but I’m a fan because of the music.

I’m so glad Joe stood up for himself ,they should start doing this more often. I know that’s probably too much to ask. People had no business bashing Joe like that in the first place,when at first we only had her side of the story.

Regardless of this heartfelt blog by Joe, to be broke up with over the phone is the nastiest way a guy/girl can break up with someone.
I’m not saying either one of them is right or wrong.
The truth is we won’t really know what happen between them and we really don’t need an explanation because it is their private personal life.
I’m just going to continue to listen to their music because that’s really what its all about.
Who gives a crap, why isn’t this posted on the tweens site? Isn’t that why you have it.
I am not really interested in twilight but I would rather hear about the cast of twilight than this.
