OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

This is obviously damage control by a management type of Jonas enterprises (thats what its called right?) it just sounds too…..idk proper. Not that joe isnt capable of writing well but it just sounds like he told someone to write this for him and made it in a way that made taylor the bad guy of the relationship. No matter what either say we dont know what really went on. Idk that joe is really that private about who hes dating it was nick that jumped in during an interview once at a question directed to joe and said they liked to be private and on ellen she brought up taylor and never mentioned selena. I think if he could go public he would but disney or somebody wont let him.
Joe Jonas is a great guy with great morals. Taylor Swift is a worthless tramp.

I use to like Joe Jonas. He was my favorite Jonas. But really, guys are all the same! They play with your heart and then try to make them look like the good person. I don’t believe what he said. A change of heart? Hm, obviously, he was seeing the other girl before he broke up with Taylor. Taylor’s a strong girl and can definitely do so much better!
I’m glad Joe posted this, a lot of people are so immature about relationships they shouldn’t even be in one.. EHEM Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. That just makes people hate them even more cause their so retarded. Get over it, he doesn’t like you so move on. Don’t go on Ellen talking about how he did all this stuff to you. i agree it’s not nice to break up with someone on the phone and i agree with some people, breaking up in person is hard but really?! it’s so much better to talk it out in person. if he was in london, he could have waited. oh and about taylor hanging up on the phone, i don’t blame the girl. no one wants to be dumped on the phone..all you jonas brothers fan probably haven’t even been in a relationship before. good luck dealing with cheating boyfriends. boys are professional in lying! :D

really it doesn’t matter if he cheated on her, or if she really did end the conversation…which I’m not sure I believe. Besides all that YOU DO NOT BREAK UP WITH A GIRL OVER THE PHONE. I hope he’s learned that. I don’t care where in the hell he was, it didn’t have to be done at that second.

look..my thing is this…No one on this website knows Joe or Taylor well enough to call them liars or start passing judgments. I understand that of course there are two sides to a story, but it seems like to me that someone is just a bit bitter. I mean what person wouldn’t want to date Joe Jonas…ha…don’t answer that.
But i’m just saying.. Taylor is a beautiful girl and Joe is a handsome guy…this is crazy for Taylor to have brought something personal like this to the public to try and paint Joe in a wrongful manner no matter. No matter how bad the relationship ended it was a private matter and that is how it should have been kept.
Most relationships don’t end on a good note…this is one of them. You two “broke-up” so let it go, Taylor, and move on to someone new. You’ve been talking about this for weeks now and your sappy mood obviously hasn’t brought him back in your life.
You say you’re over him? Well, shut the **** up and move on! please. And if you can’t do that then just write another song about it. It’ll probably make you millions. =)
