OlderJoe Jonas: I Did Not Cheat On Taylor Swift
Joe Jonas isn’t going to take this lying down!
The 19-year-old middle Jonas brother is speaking out against ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s accusations of him being a cheater and his 27-second break-up call. Here’s what he posted on his latest MySpace post:
“This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart… I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the “27 second” phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response. I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.”
UPDATE: Curiously enough, Taylor’s original quote to OK! was “[Joe and actress Camilla Belle] have been together for months. That’s why we broke up.”
OK! has since REWRITTEN Taylor’s quote to say: “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up - because he met her.” Something’s fishy!!!!!!!!!

Miley had to come out about the Nick relationship, after he denied it several times, and Taylor Swift had to be the one to come out about this relationship, and they only show up to talk when it’s about their OWN images. And what a sleezy thing to say, a phone call only lasts as long as you let it, and they didn’t want to hear what i had to say; if it took him only 27 seconds to say that they shouldn’t be together any more, and over the phone, who cares who hung up? I am definitely positive that he is a liar and a jerk now.

Well it looks like the Jonas Brothers are feelimg the rath of dissappointed fans. He’s only speaking out because managers tolde him to say something and of course he is trying to play the blame game . Because he knows this is going to hurt sales on concerts and what ever else they are selling. I still think he’s a looser and him coming out and try to turn this around typical BOY . WOW, Joe Jonas finally reacts as he realizes that Taylor’s comments could ruin his chances of playing more women. I find this situation hilarious. He thought Taylor would just fade away, but this girl went out fighting. I don’t know much about her, but I think I like her.
He met someone new, wanted to date her, so he used the “my feelings have changed” card and dumped Taylor. I think I’ve heard this story before. Would probably still be with Taylor had Camilla not reciprocated. Look, he probably didn’t cheat, but I will say that he didn’t handle the situation very well. He’s getting what he deserves. Calling a girl on the phone to dump her is not cool. Regardless of who ended the call, he still intended to dump her OVER THE PHONE. Not classy. Thus, she called him out. More power to her.
