Lipstick Jungle Canceled!

My wife and I only watch two shows regularly. This is one of them. We like it because it is filmed in NYC, it is about the fashion industry, movie industry, and the characters are high-powered yet vulnerable and at times frail. I don’t hink that the show is predictable and boring. I think that the stars on the show are good actors/actresses and that the story line is intersting. I am eager to see what will happen next: Will Niko want to get pregnant or will she adopt? Artificial insemination???if so, who will be the father? Will Brooke shield’s character’s project go forward? Will her husbad’s project succeed or fail? Will her daughter speak to her mom about other adolescent crisis? Will Victory Ford get her love interest back? The fashion business is a roller coaster; it would be natural for Victory’s business to have good seasons and unsuccessful ones. I can’t believe that this show will not be supported. Are my wife and I tooo intelligent and too nice to deserve this type of programming? We don’t like to watch any reality shows. We don’t like to watch shows that are too violent. That does not leave much. This is show is fun because it contains light-hearted moments, some drama, and some comedy. I wish NBC would change it’s mind. I don’t know how likely that is. Is there any chance that HBO or showtime would pick up this show. My wife and I don’t even Tivo or record this show. We watch it “live” every week. We have not missed a single episode. Our society has become so complex that this show has the opportunity to go in many directions yet maintain a realistic and humanistic story line. It is sad that there is such poor content in television programming today; violence or real people making fools of themselves. By the way, I am insulted by the networks posting of so many reality shows for another reason. Reality shows cost next to nothing to make by comaprison with a scripted series with good actors. Cancelling this show, Lipstick Jungle, is a huge loss.

Alright, people, just because the leads are women (and they live in ny) doesn’t mean it should be anything like sex in the city. LSJ has its own, vibrant, compelling characters that I for one, am crushed to see disappear.

I can’t believe it. NBC will surely come to their senses and sign it on for many more seasons, right? If they don’t, another network really should. It’s a damn good cast with great writers. Don’t go away! (And yes, Kirby’s hot but not the only reason to watch the show.)

Very sad to seee LIPSTICK JUNGLE leave!!! It was kinda like the next “sex in the City” kind of show!!! WHy cancel the show NBC? I would’ve thought it got really good ratings!!! boo!!!! Bring back Lipstick Jungle!!!

Loved Lipstick…I only “commit” to a few shows a season and this one was so fun.

I LOVE Lipstick Jungle !! Been watching the show since it aired. I also really liked MOWE… sad that it’s gone :(

DON’T cancel Lipstick Jungle……it’s SUCH a great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got into and love every minute!!!!

I love love love Lipstick Jungle. I do not think they ever gave it a chance by putting it on on Friday nights. I always DVR’d it or watched it online! I am terribly dissapointed! I love Victory!

I am so disappointed, i loved this show. As a matter of fact this is the only show I watched. I am no longer interested in Desperate Housewives. I think it may have been the time slot. Most fashionable people that enjoyed this show were more than likely not sitting at home on a friday night. They should of kept in on Wednesday night.
Don’t we have enough reality and bachelor shows out there………
I don’t beleive people would rather watch wife swap that Lipstick.

Not too often does a TV show catch my attention, or loyalty for that matter. Lipstick Jungle DID. I thought that the cast was awesome and the writing was forward thinking anc creative. I LOVED watching just for the fashion alone. The show was really starting to take off as far as the story line goes, I just wish NBC gave it a bit more time for the public to catch on. I personally enjoyed it far more than Sex and the City==and look at how incredibly popular that show was. I hope Kim Raver finds another show, I thought she was really good. Thumbs down on this choice NBC,

It never fails…. give it a weak time slot and it dies a few weeks later. This show however, may not meet an untimely end. The Execs are claiming that the report of cancellation was somewhat premature. It really is great show, love the cast!! Hopefully they will give it a better time slot… how ’bout “must see” Thursday!! Lipstick Jungle is rather refreshing,… now if I could only get my wife into this show too. :)

I watch Lipstick Jungle every week in the UK and absolutel love everything about it. The beautiful women, their lives, their men, their costums, the shoots in New York and most of all their endearing relationship, which is so believable. My sister and I are devestated that this show has been cancelled and so do hope the producers can reconsider.

I LOVE THAT SHOW…..I AM SO MAD. I HAD NO CLUE!

This is the greatest show on TV right now. It is the escape that women need. It is sexy, and fun. Makes the average stay at home mom, feel good and is a real pick me up. NBC needs to change their mind. Without ER and now Lipstick jungle. My TV will be tuned into CBS (The Unit, CSI, Criminal Minds). There will be no reason to watch NBC. I have not missed an episode of Lipstick Jungle and will be very sad to see it go. My husband even watches it with me. What man wouldn’t want to see Kim Raver, Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields. Such a shame to see it go.
