Lipstick Jungle Canceled!
NBC’s drama Lipstick Jungle has been canceled, reports THR.
Kim Raver, Lindsay Price and Brooke Shields played the three female leads. That means no more shirtless Kirby Atwood (Robert Buckley)!!!
THR also reports freshman drama My Own Worst Enemy (with Christian Slater) also got the axe. No official comment has been made by NBC about either series just yet.
ARE YOU SAD to see either of those two shows go — Lipstick Jungle or My Own Worst Enemy?

This totally sucks!! I love Lipstick Jungle and so do all my work mates!!! We have yet to miss an episode!! those three women are so amazing!! Please don’t cancel!!!!
That is the saddest thing i have ever heard. Any show you put in that time slot would do just as badly. Very bad placement, excellent show.
This really stinks. This show is so well-written and all three actresses are so beautiful and talented. Is there any truth that USA will pick it up?
A little sad the show is canceled. I did grow to like Kim Raver very much. First time watching her show. Her eyes can talk and convey very real emotions. Made my heart skip a beat once in a while. A great actress for sure. Can’t say as much for Lindsay Price though.
I LOVED this show!!!! Why is it being cancelled? All of my friends watch this show and it is really good! I was so excited when it came back this year. Why do you do this to us?
This is crazy why cancel one of the best shows they have came out with since Sex and Th City. If they cancel any shows it should be that stupid show Paper Dolls. I am outraged that they would cancel such a well wrote show and will no longer be watching NBC along with a few of my friends and family that also loved the show.

Are you kidding me… Why would you cancell lipstick Jungle? Finally a dynamic show comes on NBC and you go and cancell it. I looked forward to this show week after week. Brooke, Kim, Lindsay, Robert, Andrew have done a fanstatic job. The story, the music, the fashion , everything was great. Why is that you network people always ruin a good thing. Bring the show back.

As usual they cancel the good shows! They should reconsider.
Gosh the one show that I really like and I record and look forward to watcha now gets the plug!!! They just do not give you enough time and then you question the other shows that are still on….

I am very upset that lipstick is cancelled. I am sick and tired of getting involved with shows and having them pulled. This is one person that will not start to watch any new shows ever again!!!!! Why bother wasting my time?

Imagine that……I hate NBC. You know that stupid Deperate Housewives Prision Break & stupid Lost make it season after season but when you get a great show like this or even October Road that was cancelled????Does not make sense!!!!!!!!!! Makes me not even want to watch tv anymore. I always get into a show to find out later it was cancelled!!! This is BS.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!!!!!!! I love Lipstick Jungle! I watched the first two episodes of My Own Worst Enemy, and didn’t think much of it, but Lipstick Jungle is great! Yes, it’s over the top, and the characters lead unrealistic lives, but that’s just par for the course on TV. I loved the characters, and I thought they were developing nicely. Now they cut them of at the knees? What’s wrong with NBC????!!!
love this show! with the economy like it is it ’s great having a chick show on friday night and not be surfing channel escaping from news, network shopping,criminals , cooking shows and ball games! should we watch wrestling now?????? bet a bunch of guys in the good ol’ boys club cancelled this.

They can’t do this!!! It’s such a good show! Taylor Lautner is also friggin’ amazing in it! NOOO!! I’ve never seen an ep. of “Lipstick Jungle”, but I was looking forward to it! This totally sucks! :-( I have to say that I was very shocked to hear that these two shows got the axe. I have a feeling that it may be false… Who knows? Let’s just keep our fingers crossed! Oh, & I completely agree with noelle (#10).

PLEASE don’t cancel Lipstick Jungle..it’s the best show on NBC….I’ll be so sad to see it go…We have neighborhood parties to watch it!!!
I love Lipstick Jungle and do not understand why they continue to cancel all the good shows and add another reality show. Everytime I start to watch a show its always gets cancelled like Journeyman, October Road, Vegas, Cashmere Mafia and Big Shots. Please give shows a chance before you cancel!!!
come on NBC!!!! please don’t cancel Lipstick Jungle! Its a really good show and the character have great stories to tell. Give it another chance for the fans!!!

Shame on NBC for canceling a well-written show which just so happens to be one of the ONLY good shows on TV with strong female leads, not to mention the talented (mostly female) writing staff. Is Shonda Rhimes going to have to clone herself to get anything good to stick in this town? I’m with LIzz. Sometimes it takes a while for a show to catch on…why are the networks so premature in canceling a good thing? Stupid decision, NBC. Lipstick Jungle was developing into something special. Every heard of a little hit called Sex & The City? If you write it, we will come…
