Mad TV: Cancelled After 14 Years!
Mad TV is ending its run as a Saturday night sketch series after 14 seasons.
Yesterday, FOX confirmed that the show will end its run at the end of this season.
“There’s been great interest in recent years,” said exec producer David Salzman. “We’ve had a number of networks inquire as to whether the show was coming off FOX and saying that they’d be interested. We have not started to talk to them yet, but now is the time to begin those conversations. I think we have real prospects, but you never know, especially given the economy.”
Mad TV will be bringing back old characters from the show. My vote is for Ms. Swan and The Vancome Lady!!!!! Who else do you want to see back on the show???

I can’t believe the show was even still on the air! rofl Fox Pretty much hasn’t advertised that show in years I thought it died when the all the good known comedians left to have movie careers.

God it’s so sad, but damn i’m so ******* not surprised, the last two season sucked so bad it’s insane, i love that show, but seriously, how can a show change so much just like that (it makes me rethink of Roswel and Veronica Mars season 3) God. seriously i couldn’t even watch the last season (i watched like 2 episodes) because i was just so bored…

Although it had a great run for the first few years, it quickly degraded when Bobby Lee and his Mexican friend started doing stereotypical jokes about themselves. We get it, you’re minorities!

Awww! I am so sad to hear MAD TV got cancelled! I think it’s much funnier than SNL…they just have a bigger budget and good musical guests! Damn…FOX is stupid, it always cancels good shows: first Arrested Development and now this.

I dont think the show should cancel… im mean i’ll be honest is not as good as the classic mad tv. And they should bring back the best crew with is Micheal Mcdonald, Mo Collins, Aries Spears, Debra Wilson, Alex Borstein, Will Sasso, Nicole Sullivan, And Stephanie Weir. That’s the best crew mad tv has had.

I can’t believe they’re canceling this, but the horribly unfunny SNL gets to stay on the air forever. I love Mad TV. I’ve been watching it since I was nine or ten. I’m really p!$$ed!

Mad TV was much better … Quincy Jones always started better stars … Jim Carrey from In Living Color, the Wayan Bros, Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ..
oh well .. now we just have to hope something better will show up at 11 on a Saturday. =(
