Mad TV: Cancelled After 14 Years!
Mad TV is ending its run as a Saturday night sketch series after 14 seasons.
Yesterday, FOX confirmed that the show will end its run at the end of this season.
“There’s been great interest in recent years,” said exec producer David Salzman. “We’ve had a number of networks inquire as to whether the show was coming off FOX and saying that they’d be interested. We have not started to talk to them yet, but now is the time to begin those conversations. I think we have real prospects, but you never know, especially given the economy.”
Mad TV will be bringing back old characters from the show. My vote is for Ms. Swan and The Vancome Lady!!!!! Who else do you want to see back on the show???

Mad TV was funny as hell the first few years. I totally sucks now. It should have been put out of its misery long ago.

God it’s so sad, but damn i’m so ******* not surprised, the last two season sucked so bad it’s insane, i love that show, but seriously, how can a show change so much just like that (it makes me rethink of Roswel and Veronica Mars season 3) God. seriously i couldn’t even watch the last season (i watched like 2 episodes) because i was just so bored…
Well, it’s sad, but you’ll always stay in my heart Mad tv, Rest in peace now :(

Although it had a great run for the first few years, it quickly degraded when Bobby Lee and his Mexican friend started doing stereotypical jokes about themselves. We get it, you’re minorities!
Now Michael McDonald and Nicole Parker are finally free!

AWWW…. i loved this show and i agree…it was way better than SNL but i also believe that the new cast cant replace the older cast members…..
Awww! I am so sad to hear MAD TV got cancelled! I think it’s much funnier than SNL…they just have a bigger budget and good musical guests! Damn…FOX is stupid, it always cancels good shows: first Arrested Development and now this.
