Since the Vogue and Doprah fiasco this past week, it has left me wondering if Brad had to live with the constant lying and misleading and backtracking and feigning innocence when caught red-handed.

If Aniston is a narcissist in the clinical sense, lying is a huge part of the package. He would have been promised family a kajillion times with a straight face while she surreptitiously horked down the ‘pill’….

I think she held on for four years based on a string of promises and let downs…….I just watched a short video of Brad in 04, likely during the promotional run for Troy when he was still with Aniston.

In the video a reporter asked what his ‘Big Dream’ was. He said, “FAMILY.”

The look on his face said it all. He looked pained and angry, and quickly turned away from the interviewer without elaboration. Not the face of a man who had decided, with his wife, to have children and he was excited at the prospect.

If I had been his wife and saw that it would have been a huge writing on the wall moment.

So all her lies about ‘wanting children’ were just the forerunner for the coninuing years of lying to the general public. If you lie to your husband, why not lie to the world???

And so she does while the world portrays Angie as the pouty-lipped seductress who ’stole’ Brad away from the little sweetie from Friends.

Brad must loathe her at this point. He likely looks back and ’sees’ it all very clearly now. Angie’s honesty must be like a daily shower for him.

So I live for the day when the ‘whole truth and nothing but the truth’ emerges in some form….whether it is a tell all book by someone or she gets caught in something so nasty that her career erupts into a professional armageddon.

Without Huvane and his frenetic maneuvering and manipulating of media on her behalf, she would be long gone. And btw, true narcissists are incapable of love.

debra77 I read it a while back. I think the version I read had about 16 or 20 pages. And it is quite different than the movie. Actually I think I will like the movie much better, which isn’t always the case.

I am amazed that they could make a 2+hr movie from such little narrative and description. But it has been done before with short stories. I am anticipating this movie. Brad and Angie are at the top of their movie making game. Peace

u are right about GMTV building up angelina interview’s. they spend 2 hours saying they have an interview with angelina coming up, and it turns out to be a 2 minute pre-recored interview from a month earlier!!!!
so annoying! A-listers normally do not come into the studio aswell, clooney was on GMTV a few months ago but did an interview with kate garraway(yuck) via a satelite link-up from a hotel. lower ranked stars normally do the BBC breakfast show and quickly make the short dash to do GMTV on the same morning between 6 and 9-20 a.m. can’t see angelina doing that, and what would be the point of the BBC interviewing angelina in new york, if she was coming to the BBC in london to do the breakfast show live in a few weeks ,later? my guess is all the t.v shows i.e GMTV will show a recorded interview done in NYC just like the BBC interview, and angelina will do the BBC radio 5live (simon mayo show )from berlin live, or the simon mayo show will play a pre-recorded interview(most likely as why did 5live say angelina was going to be on friday? could be the simon mayo show over-ran and so they could not play the the pre-record interview on friday, as i highly doubt they told angelina ’sorry ,can u come back monday? or can we ring u up on monday instead as we ran out of time for u?’ . also angelina did a radio 1 interview live in late may/june for the neehal show 1-4 weekday afternoons from her home from fance so she could easliy do the same for 5live 2 morrow from berlin.

i have just read GMTV trailed a angelina interview on friday 14th november to be shown on tuesday 18th!!??i am not sure if the trail was either showing the actual pre-recorded interview or just a general film showing clips of angelina to show she will be coming on the show as GMTV knew this on friday?? GMTV is so confusing me!!!. i highly doubt angelina was in the u.k friday doing all the u.k press for changeling in london, but maybe the pics in berlin were of the jolie-pitts flying into berlin via london and GMTV and 5live will play the interview they got from the 13th-14 november last week??!! i guess we’ll find out 2morrow morinig as i remenber what angelina was wearing and what the room looked like in that BBC interview(which hit the net last week i.e wanting to be a grandma. quiting acting interview) and so if GMTV’s interview is from the same time (5th october in NYC) and angelina is not in the GMTV (or BBC breakfast) studios live, i doubt if angelina will be in lodon just to do 5live interview for 10 mins and that’s it, a radio interview can be done from any-where, heck 5live even interviewed that jeremey ‘peace one day’ guy and jude law (live or re-corded)from afganistan the other week, so angelina live from berlin should be no problem!!

I don’t like the poster. With all the talent at Fincher’s fingertips it is surprising that this is what they chose from the art dept. The pics are not flattering at all of Brad & Cate. The studio and producers use Angelina Jolie name as if she was a major portion of the movie to promote it. Thus Angelina has the right to say she take credit for the ticket sales.

I concur and I will even go as far as saying that Aniston is ALREADY perceived as a has been in the same way as is Larry Hagman, the biggest TV star of the most famous and wordly seen show Hollywood ever have. “Friends” doesn’t even come close ! Everyone still have his name JR Ewing in mind, few people in Europe can name ‘Rachel ‘name…even those who used to look at Friends. She wasn’t the most popular one !

I was watching the video of the Troy premiere in Cannes in 2004, and during the commentary, Brad’s name was continually being mentioned, with no menion of X’s name. It was like she wasn’t even there. She looked so out of place, and was grinning like the fool she is.

I can’t imagine that she did. Very few actresses get back-end deals. After the 2nd Shrek I think Cam Diaz got one on the 3rd and any subsequent movies…but other than that, actresses typically aren’t the main draw and studios won’t give them those kinds of deals. IIRC I read that Diaz only got like $1-2MIL for the first Shrek, $10MIL for the second and THEN she got a back end of the third. Mike Myers had back ends on 2 & 3, as did Eddie Murphy.

Women just aren’t that big a BO draw. You can bet your ass that people aren’t going to see the Pirates movies because of Keira Knightley! LOL. Depp gets a back-end. Knightley does not. But neither does Orly Bloom. That’s not to say that Angie couldn’t conceivably get a back end of the next KFP movie - espeically if her role is increased. She’s probably just about the only actress right now who cold ask for a deal like that - $20MIL or a back end percentage. It’ll be interesting to see what she really gets for “Salt”. I read on a couple of sites last week that it’s $20MIL and the budget is between $90-100MIL. It’s supposed to be a large scale movie with location shoots in LA, NYC, DC and Moscow. Now I just have to remember which site I saw that one…Ropes of Scilicon maybe…

If I’m X and I’m reading…

- Or how about when Angie talked about how romantic Brad is - how they fly their planes to the Barstow-Daggett airport, get on their motorcycles, take a 3 hour ride in the desert, spend the night, ride back to Daggett and fly home to their kids? Or how they love to take road trips, just the two of them, and stay at a dinky little motel and eat Taco Bell? (Shite that X WOULD NOT do with Brad and should have irked her that another woman would refer to doing these things AND ENJOYING THEM!)

- Or how they let MADDOX determine a large part of whether they’d be a family? (My husband left me for a woman with a kid and didn’t even know if kid was going to accept him? Or if the woman would want to put up with the baggage that being Brad Pitt’s woman brings? THAT would piss me off…)

I cannot express my deep regret strongly enough that you truly brought no clarity to the silly responses of that guest of yours, Jennifer Aniston, when you asked her about her response comments in the December 2008 issue of Vogue magazine.

That very disingenuous, callous, heartless woman, responded clearly and with deliberate intent to hurt, to a question asked of her by the magazine’s interviewer and then comes on your show and conveniently does not remember what she said. She does her best to destroy Angelina Jolie’s character in the magazine with her lying tongue then comes on your show and plays “Miss - I don’t go there, it’s 100 years old for Christ’s sake.”

Since that is her mindset - and if her statement is true, one must naturally ask - Why DID she go There???

She went back to an old Vogue interview and virtually quoted it verbatim and expressed her “displeasure” with it, yet on your show she conveniently cannot remember what she said and responds incoherently.

A truthful woman of class and good breeding would have said “no comment” when asked a question in an interview that she truly did not want to respond to because she “does not go there” and so much time has passed there is no need to discuss it further.

She would have respected the fact that her former husband has children with a woman that he loves very much and has moved on to a more productive, fulfilling and rewarding life, far better than the one he had with her.

She would have at least shown respect for the children.

She would not deliberatey incite the media to perpetuate her “oh woe is me, what Angelina did to me was ‘uncool’ ” diatribe that she constantly rekindles every time she has a “need” for attention or feels offended.

So much time has passed already and she (Jennifer) has been through sooo many different men in her own life, all who have “dumped” her, why does she still feel the need to constantly bring up Angelina and excuse herself for doing so with her lame retort “he asked me a question and I answered it the best way I knew how.”

She obviously is not astute enough to know that every unwelcomed question does not demand a response, especially if you truly want to show you have “MOVED ON! Or, as she said -the words out of her own mouth on your show years ago “PEOPLE TURN A PAGE!!”

Angelina and Brad have every right to express the love they have for each other, wherever and whenever they want to. Aniston flaunts her sexual escapades all over the media, even while going through her divorce with Brad….remember Vince Vaughn…and no one calls her on it.

Brad and Angelina do not bring her up in their conversations in the media. She is irrelevant!

Angelina has every right to express her love for Brad and relish how they met because all parties previously involved in that situation KNOW no cheating went on! Jennifer KNOWS this for a FACT! She herself said so. “We had an amicable divorce.”

Her evil and vicious intent worked deliberately to try and bring down Angelina, because Angelina commands respect and attention on many media levels, and she, Aniston, a no talent, immature (her words) narcissistic leech, continuously riding on the backs of both Brad and Angelina, has done nothing worthwhile with her life except jump from one man’s bed to the next vainly searching for “luck in love,” and making movies no one is interested in seeing.

What a pathetic creature.

As far as guest material - this woman (Jennifer) seems incapable of stringing two intelligent sentences together, and/or completing a thought verbally. Whereas Jolie - a virtual fountain of eloquence and elegance.

Courtney Cox said Brad was honest with her and Aniston was aware of his “attraction to Jolie” which he fought for a long time (Jennifer’s Vanity Fair article)…yet she still wants to perpetuate this fraudulent story that Angelina “stole her man” away from her and she was “unaware…..” She takes no responsibility for the destruction of her own marriage. She wants people to see her as perfect and see Angelina as the real cause of the demise of her marriage. Yet she KNOWS this to be an untruth.

X NEEDS the dog move to do huge box office. She currently has ZERO studio films lined up. ZERO. She’s got 2 tired romcoms in the can - one that’s going to get a barely-in-theaters release and then straight to DVD and another one that has no distributor. Her only other studio flick tested so badly that the studio keeps shuffling it back in their release schedule. It probably won’t even get a theatrical release and go straight to DVD. X has a “first-look” deal with a major studio, but looking ain’t buying and guarantees bupkus.

Brad doesn’t NEED CCOBB to be a huge commercial success. He’s got offers pooring in. As Brad told the Newsweek Oscar Rountable in 2007 - HE DOES NOT FEAR HE’LL NEVER WORK AGAIN. X lives with that fear constantly. Brad can pick and choose projects and has a production deal with a major studio. He’s got at least half a dozen movies currently in production at Plan B/Paramount.

This is the cold hard fact that Fanistons refuse to face. X can have public opinion on her side…but public opinion isn’t paying $12 to see her cheesy romcoms or hiring her to do more of them. Reality is a b#tch, ain’t she?

LOL. That first quote is part of X’s “We’re working on it now…” campaign to make their marriage look solid. A campaign that she had no intention of delivering on because the marriage was hanging by a thread at that point because she had 6 movie projects lined up - almost back-to-back - for at least 2 years. There was no way in hell she could get knocked up unless she dropped out of some of the movies…and she had no intention of doing that. Then, above all, he manipulated the answers to sensationalize the whole thing. I will never buy that magazine again in my life. I was so mad at VF in 2005, I didn’t buy the one with Angelina on the cover this year. VF and Vogue will never see a dime from me. I am sure they don’t miss it, but if they think they can afford to lose some readers, fine with me.

I only PARTIALLY blame Van Meter. I think hee was given an assignment with very specific instructions to get X to talk about Angie if he could. I also put huge part of the blame I put on Anna Wintour. It’s her mag. She calls the shots a Vogue and is a regular b#tch on wheels. SHE is the one who made the “editorial” decision to throw Angie under the bus with that falacious cover quote. Plus, who knows what Van Meter’s original draft of the story looked like? He could have been told to rewrite it with a certain slant. That’s like the Newsweek article on Angie last summer where someone asked him why she didn’t talk about Z and he said she did, but the editor cut the quote from his story.

And I put the rest of the blame on X herself. She knew anything controversial she said or did would make it into the artilce. That’s why she asked him to turn off the recorder and then replied on the record. Plus…and this is the biggest issue I have - X MOST LIKELY HAD PRE-PRINT APPROVAL RIGHTS. You can bet your ass she got to approve the final draft of the story before it went to print. She got final approval on her VF hatchet job…and then tried to play innocent about it, too. She’s a calculating, manipulative fameho - there’s no way she’d do a “candid” interview without final approval.

On behalf of Meryl Streep…and as a long-time fan…I’m gonna have to slap you…sowwy… LOL! Streep had a LOT of BO hits in her younger years. You have to remember the standard hasn’t always been $100MIL at the BO. Back in those days a drama making #35-50MIL was a HUGE movie Plus, in the early part of her career a lot of movies didn’t even get released in foreign markets. It wasn’t really until the mid-80’s almost all movies regularly got a foreign release. However, prior to that she’d already made Kramer Vs. Kramer, The Deer Hunter, The French Lieutenant’s Woman, Silkwood and Sophie’s Choice. After 1985 she had several BO successes - including Death Becomes Her, Heartburn, Postcards from the Edge, Out of Africa, The Bridges of Madison County and The River Wild.

Cannes premiere of Troy pix-
Notice how Brad’s hand is resting on his OWN leg, while X has her hand on his knee. Brad looks totally miserable, he is turned away from X, and he is not smiling. Poor Brad. He left shortly after this pix was taken, saying he was ill. Now this violated Cannes protocol but he could not fake it like the fugly faker was prepared to do.

Fugly X has on the fakest of fake smiles, just thrilled to be in Cannes where none of her films ever has or will be shown. This access to the AList is what she misses.

Once Brad got this woman out of his life look at how much a real happy grown man he is these days, no more Ken doll. Angie breathed life into Brad and he well knows this.

Hey, PT, how many actresses who came out at almost the same time with Streep was still in the limelight or was still working ? Was Farrah Fawsett of Charlie’s Angel fame around the same age with Meryl ? she’s someone like X, famous TV star failing in the big screen, more famous on her love life and hair than her talent.

I’d kill for Cate’s cheekbones. I can’t wait for this movie!

Did you see my post in the wee hours about the huge sales decline Vogue has had this year? The first half of 2008 newsstand sales are down 14.8% and they’re down 6% altogether. That’s a huge fall from the first half of 2007. If they continued to decline at that rate their newsstand sales would fall nearly 30% for the year, overall they’d be down by 12%. Anna Wintour’s job is in trouble. A couple of sites that track media have been saying for months now that she’s on the chopping block if there’s not a turn around in the last half of the year. Bringing in a new editor would probably save Conde Nast quite a bit because her salary is something ridiculous - like $2-3MIL per year. And then there’s her sidekick - Andre Leon Talley. He makes a huge salary, too.

So in Wintour’s mind she’s just doing what has to be done to sell mags. I’m sure Angie takes it all in stride…but if it were me hell would freeze over before I did their cover again! LOL.

Wintour is desperate then. But what I don’t understand is why the need to put that quote on the cover? Fanistons will buy the issue without the quote there anyway.
I just hope that Brad and Angelina never have to do a cover for them again. They can have Maniston every year. How exciting, and fine with me. I just hope they don’t drag Brad and Angelina in her articles again.

May I join the group too? Someone of her entourage should tell her that Brad and his family are none of her business any more and it is very inappropriate of her to keep commenting, whether by dissing or praising. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, JEN.
