The Curious Case of Benjamin Button opens on Christmas Day and was directed by David Fincher (Zodiac, Seven and Fight Club).
In an early review, Variety says, “Button is imagery wizard David Fincher’s big-canvas play for mass acceptance, and he’s fashioned an effects-laden but character-driven epic that recalls the sweetly doomed, emotional glamour of Hollywood’s golden era.”

yay, Angie’s movie is #1 in France.
Its funny how some of you love to attack on the way someone looks. How juvenile.
Cate and Brad both look about the same. The art work for the poster is unusual. She is a beautiful woman and He is a wonderfully attractive man. Always will be.
If you get the chance read the short story. Beautiful story. It will be interesting to see how it is interpreted on the screen. It made me cry. The story made me think about how life works in a mysterious and unexpected way. We have such little and total control over it at the same time.
Brad Pitt is far from a has been. This man has established a career that as span 20 years. He has been relevant since he first appeared in Thelma and Louise. He is a wonderful actor. Respected a great deal in this industry. A mover and shaker. Stop attacking this man because of his personal life. YES PERSONAL LIFE> He has and had the right to live his life as he chose, Choosing to be with the person he thought would be best for him. Not the person others wanted him to be with because they are still stuck in that Fairy Tale of Prince and Girl next door. Get a grip, grow up, and move on.
I will be at the theater opening day. I have enjoyed the choices Brad has been making in his career especially his film roles. He has matured as a MAN, and an actor. I love that he has moved away from the “pretty boy” roles. We all mature and change physically and emotionally. To not do so is to stand still, and be afraid of the next step in the journey of life. He is not 25 years old. He does not look like a 25 year old (thank God). It is wonderful to see a man on screen acting like a man and not a 18 year old boy in a 40 year old body. There are enough of them out there in film as it is. Men too afraid to grow up and be men. Women complain about that all the time, yet I see those same women and/or men attacking Brad Pitt because he is 44 years old, and had matured in a very appealing way. He is not trying to act like he did 20 years ago. He has a family, and a relationship that is his first priority. Is that not was a man is and should be.

Really looking forward to this movie! Hollywood hasn’t had this kind of epic/drama/sweeps you away type of movie for a long time.
Since the Vogue and Doprah fiasco this past week, it has left me wondering if Brad had to live with the constant lying and misleading and backtracking and feigning innocence when caught red-handed.
If Aniston is a narcissist in the clinical sense, lying is a huge part of the package. He would have been promised family a kajillion times with a straight face while she surreptitiously horked down the ‘pill’….
I think she held on for four years based on a string of promises and let downs…….I just watched a short video of Brad in 04, likely during the promotional run for Troy when he was still with Aniston.
In the video a reporter asked what his ‘Big Dream’ was. He said, “FAMILY.”
The look on his face said it all. He looked pained and angry, and quickly turned away from the interviewer without elaboration. Not the face of a man who had decided, with his wife, to have children and he was excited at the prospect.
If I had been his wife and saw that it would have been a huge writing on the wall moment.
So all her lies about ‘wanting children’ were just the forerunner for the coninuing years of lying to the general public. If you lie to your husband, why not lie to the world???
And so she does while the world portrays Angie as the pouty-lipped seductress who ’stole’ Brad away from the little sweetie from Friends.
Brad must loathe her at this point. He likely looks back and ’sees’ it all very clearly now. Angie’s honesty must be like a daily shower for him.
So I live for the day when the ‘whole truth and nothing but the truth’ emerges in some form….whether it is a tell all book by someone or she gets caught in something so nasty that her career erupts into a professional armageddon.
Without Huvane and his frenetic maneuvering and manipulating of media on her behalf, she would be long gone. And btw, true narcissists are incapable of love.

debra77 I read it a while back. I think the version I read had about 16 or 20 pages. And it is quite different than the movie. Actually I think I will like the movie much better, which isn’t always the case.
I am amazed that they could make a 2+hr movie from such little narrative and description. But it has been done before with short stories. I am anticipating this movie. Brad and Angie are at the top of their movie making game. Peace

u are right about GMTV building up angelina interview’s. they spend 2 hours saying they have an interview with angelina coming up, and it turns out to be a 2 minute pre-recored interview from a month earlier!!!!
so annoying! A-listers normally do not come into the studio aswell, clooney was on GMTV a few months ago but did an interview with kate garraway(yuck) via a satelite link-up from a hotel. lower ranked stars normally do the BBC breakfast show and quickly make the short dash to do GMTV on the same morning between 6 and 9-20 a.m. can’t see angelina doing that, and what would be the point of the BBC interviewing angelina in new york, if she was coming to the BBC in london to do the breakfast show live in a few weeks ,later? my guess is all the t.v shows i.e GMTV will show a recorded interview done in NYC just like the BBC interview, and angelina will do the BBC radio 5live (simon mayo show )from berlin live, or the simon mayo show will play a pre-recorded interview(most likely as why did 5live say angelina was going to be on friday? could be the simon mayo show over-ran and so they could not play the the pre-record interview on friday, as i highly doubt they told angelina ’sorry ,can u come back monday? or can we ring u up on monday instead as we ran out of time for u?’ . also angelina did a radio 1 interview live in late may/june for the neehal show 1-4 weekday afternoons from her home from fance so she could easliy do the same for 5live 2 morrow from berlin.

Notice, in the VF 2005 interview, Jen was saying Brad wasnt there at the final taping of friends. She sounded as if she’s going surgery or something.

What a beautiful “MAN”and yes I can not wait to see CCBB. How could anyone not adore this man–he’s kind, generous, funny, and he also seems sensitive. He loves his woman and his kids (all of them equally), and even though Angie has a somewhat wild past he still saw the “sweetness” in her. He didn’t care and didn’t judge her. He chose her to be the mother of his kids. WHAT A MAN!!!
