OlderKelly Clarkson: My Life Would Suck Without You
Kelly Clarkson has finished recording her fourth album and her new single is likely called “My Life Would Suck Without You.”
Producer Dr. Luke (real name: Lukasz Gottwald) tells EW she will be back with with a new song as early as next month. Woohoo!
Dr. Luke says he started developing the new song with “Since U Been Gone” collaborator Max Martin years ago. “After ‘Since U Been Gone,’ we wrote all these songs for Kelly,” says Dr. Luke, who has worked with Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Weezer. “This one, which I think is the first single, we had the chorus a while ago and added the verse more recently. They were going to have it out on Nov. 20, but it just got too late. So now they’re thinking Dec. 8 for a worldwide release, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that ends up being early January.”
Dr. Luke adds, “It’s sick. [Kelly] sings a song in two hours and kills it. You’re just, like, ‘holy s—.’ She has powerful lungs. She’s like the Lance Armstrong of vocal chords.”

I love Kelly so much. She is the sweetest, most down to earth celebrity ever. Everyone who meets/works with her has wonderful things to say about her. Ryan Tedder has been working with Kelly recently and he has said repeatedly how awesome she is. And just to top all of that off, she is an amazing singer. Welcome back Kelly. I have missed you and can’t wait to hear your single and see you on TV promoting it.
Insanely stoked for this….but, um, I hope it’s only 2005 for her music-wise. (See “Irvine” for what I mean…) Poor girl went through a lot then.
Oh, and really, why is it that when Kelly gets mentioned someone has to bash Carrie or vice versa? Really no need. Vocally, both are good at what they do!
Finally something refreshing coming to pop music. Kelly seemed to play it smart after her huge smash hit Breakaway to put out something like My December (which if you haven’t listened to, do it, it’s a great album) to take her face and voice off radio and tv for a while. A lot of popstars are so overly promoted for so long I grow tired of them. Rhianna, Pink, Britney, etc… Not knocking those ladies, but you know what I mean. I’m actually looking forward to hearing Kelly on the radio again. I’m a big music lover and can’t wait for this album. Is there a title yet?

Omg if you read dr lukes comment on the song he says kelly rocks the hell outa it in just 2 hours this just prooves kelly is a true singer lots of singers it take way to long to record a song for kelly it takes only 1-2 hours.
Anyways this single will absolutely be good cause katy parrys song was a success aswell as britney spears and after all that britney went through her songs still made huge success the new ones then ^^.
So we all no this song will be on radio worldwide and ppl will love it.

Ah, excuse me, If this is how “Kelly shows the other Idols how it’s done” than that means, try songwriting on your own and it sucks, so go back crawling for someone else to do it for you, than I don’t think that’s what really makes it for “great” song artists. Now days, to get grammy’s you have to have some writing talent besides a voice and Kelly proved she doesn’t.
