Jennifer Aniston Snags Gerard Butler For ‘Goree Girls’

Romance rumors began to swirl this summer when Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler started meeting.

Turns out Jen was interested in… Gerard’s acting!

Life & Style has learned that Jen, 39, has nabbed the 300 star, 39, for a role in The Goree Girls, a woman’s prison saga she’s set to produce and star in next year.

“The thing that really blew her away was P.S. I Love You,” says a Jen insider. “Gerard’s performance made her laugh and cry.”

Should Jen’s on-again boyfriend, John Mayer, be worried about the Scottish stud?

“She’ll get a kick out of having romantic scenes with Gerard,” the insider says. “But she wants to go home at the end of the day with someone like John.”

Gerard is now promoting the Ugly Truth…
has just wrapped filming the game
has signed on to Tales of Black Freighter
has signed on to do “Law Abiding Citizen”-
He has also signed on to another film “How to train Your Dragon” in 2010

BTW he has not been signed on nor is rumored to be on Goree Girls.
He may agreed to meet with Jen and said he will talk it over with his agent but no deal has been struck. there is still his salary in which Jen would have to pay.

I think its funny how some still want to compare the two ( jen and angie), first of all, jen is a comedic character when playing roles, and everyone is still trying to put her into that stereotype when we see her playing more dramatic roles. I will admit, angie does have definite sex appeal and does a fantastic job in playing the more “daring” roles, however, with that being said, her sex appeal would be a lot more appealing if she used a little more tact in “snagging” her babys daddys. I think everyone would be able to get over this little Jen/Angie drama, had Jen and Brad at least had the ink drying on the divorce papers before we see Brad and Angie romping in the sun with her kid in tow? I dont know.. merely my opinion, and we know where opinions stand
