Jennifer Aniston opens up about her TV and movie career in this weekend’s New York Times Magazine. Here are some highlights via Us Weekly:
On her new movie’s title: “I wish it was She’s Just Not That Into. Unfortunately, it’s He’s Just Not That Into You. The other would be more empowering.”
On finding success after Friends ended in 2004: “I thought I’d never get movies.”
On landing her role of spoiled Rachel Green: “[It was] the first time I felt like part of the cool kids.”
On watching Friends re-runs on TV: “There are times I don’t even remember that particular show. This is horrible to say, but there are times when I laugh my rear end off. And I get in debates with people who are over and say, Friends is not my thing.’ Excuse you!”
On if Friends would be a hit today: “Hard to tell — that was a different time. Now TV has too much to do with celebrity. We have reality television, where people try to become celebrities….”
Aniston’s next comedy, Marley & Me, costarring Owen Wilson opens on Christmas Day.

Jennifer is sophisticated and Angie looks like a tramp. Those jealous people can’t even differentiate those who look beautiful and those who sell their bodies for a movie. When you see Jen you see someone who is reserved. If she could not act do you think she would play into all those movies. This woman is not only famous she is beautiful, rich, nice and well mannered. If you are looking for an ugly person look well. She is not only beautiful outside, look at the way she treated the dishonest way that Brad and Angelina treated her. People can say whatever they want but when it comes to betrayal each individual delt differently. Some yes will go to the news, some will not act, and some woman would have cursed her and pulled her hair out. So when you are talking about Jen she is a very nice temparate person. I hope anybody who is criticizing her is able to act better when it comes to a woman taking her husband away. It is something you never forget. For crying out loud some people ended up in Psych ward after such betrayal. It is not easy when someone thinks he/she is married for better and for worse to find out not only your husband left you for another woman, she got pregant when you were supposed to get pregnant for your husband. You find out that not only your husband was a cheater but he was a liar and the time you were together he was cheating with a woman who did not care that he was married. These things always ended up bad not only for the kids but for the two individuals involved. Women who do things like this cannot be trusted with anybody’s husband. She is not to be trusted even with men. brad made a mistake so does Angelina. I bet you if it was her she would not tolerate it. She should put herself in Jen’s shoes and I hope some day what she did to Jen happened to her. Unfortunately sometimes it does not happen to these culprit but it happens to their beautiful children.

There is just nothing interesting about this person - she barely acts, she barely works, she has no interesting hobbies or passions, she has never had anything intersting to say in interviews I have either read or watched, and she seems to love a very small life when she has been given very large rewards. There are so many worthy actresses who deserve this and whose lives are more interesting.
I’m not going to put down her appearance because that’s an individual taste and lord knows every woman on the planet can look good with that type of money and attention. It’s just that as a woman she embarrasses me for her inertia and her superficial and almost childlike discourse.
