Jennifer Aniston opens up about her TV and movie career in this weekend’s New York Times Magazine. Here are some highlights via Us Weekly:
On her new movie’s title: “I wish it was She’s Just Not That Into. Unfortunately, it’s He’s Just Not That Into You. The other would be more empowering.”
On finding success after Friends ended in 2004: “I thought I’d never get movies.”
On landing her role of spoiled Rachel Green: “[It was] the first time I felt like part of the cool kids.”
On watching Friends re-runs on TV: “There are times I don’t even remember that particular show. This is horrible to say, but there are times when I laugh my rear end off. And I get in debates with people who are over and say, Friends is not my thing.’ Excuse you!”
On if Friends would be a hit today: “Hard to tell — that was a different time. Now TV has too much to do with celebrity. We have reality television, where people try to become celebrities….”
Aniston’s next comedy, Marley & Me, costarring Owen Wilson opens on Christmas Day.

Oh and I watched Brad on Oprah and it was just the best. Brad is SO IN LOVE with his family. And he speaks so highly of Angie. It was great. What a great family.
Give up the negative PR about AJ, Jen. We know your behind it.

Loved, loved loved Brad on Oprah. He was so sweet talking about the kids and Angie. You can sure tell Brad is a happy man. I have never seen him so animated and real, talking and answering questions. What a great partner and father. Angie is lucky.
And Jennifer, she is just annoying. No wonder Brad is no longer with her. Brad wanted a life, a real life.
Why doesn’t Jen just give up. She will NEVER be a huge successful movie star. Go back to TV. Maybe a nice reality show. Jen’s excessive neediness is painful to watch. I can just see her sucking the life out of everyone she meets.
I never ever remember Maniston pimping those lips as much before Angie do you.. ?

- the comment about a title more “empowering”: it’s just PR games (once again). JA is sick of having this image of a bitter woment, unable to find love, or to keep a man…. So lately, she tries to prove that she is an independant women… It just sounds fake. When it comes to independant woment, JA will NEVER be a role model…. She will always give the impression to be a women who cannot control her own life. If she was an independant women, she will have moved on from her divorce… But no, over thousands of actresses who get dumped, she is the only one who doesn’t take it with dignity, who throws her self pity parties in every interview (one time she opens up about her divorce, another time she forbiddes the journalist to prononce BP and AJ names, another times she acts like she is over her divorce, and another time she says that what AJ said hurted her feelings)… Why doesn’t she act like Uma Turman (who was cheated on)??? Why does it ALWAYS sound like she is not over BP??? By trying to hard to prove to everyone that she is fine, that she loves her life, that “its her journey”, that she doesn’t need a man, she shows that she is not over her divorce… If she was, she wouldn’t need to act like this: her attiude would be enough…
So let me laugh when she acts like she wants movies which are “empowering” for women!!!! This woment has no control over her own life. She doesn’t make her own decisions… She is just a “watcher” of her life. And then, in interviews, she says the most platitudes ever (I love my life, I’m in a good placee, I feel the love, blablabla). Plus, the way she acts is an insult to women who fight for women’rights… She acts like she want a child, but prefers to focus on a carrer. I embrasse women who have a carrer, and I don’t think that having a child is an obligation. But, promising a child to your husband, while signing for 4 movies is just terrible…. So yeah, stop talking about empowering, because, it’s just not your thing, honey…

+ Derailed: another bomb… Bad movie and bad acting!!! Seriously, JA as a Fatal women???? What the hell were they thinking????
+ The Break up: a hit (ok)… But it’s so over-rated!! Seriously!!!! Plus, she only has hits when she is with others actors. Along came polly (ben stiller) Bruce Almighty (Jim Carrey) The Break up (vince vaughn)… She is unable to support a movie by her own…
+ Friends with money: another bomb
+ Management: it is out yet??? Did it find a distributor????
+ Traveling: will we evr see this movie in theater???
+ He’s not that into you: pushed back, pushed back and pushed back…. Not a very good sign!!
+ Marley: at first I thought that it will be a hit (christmas, a comedy with a dog)… But the trialer doesn’t give a good image of this movie (it doesn’t seem that funny) AND I don’t think people will enjoy watching a movie with a cute and funny dog, which dies at the end!! “merry chirstmas!!” LOL… It’s better to watch Beethoven!!!!
Plus, as an actrice, she doesn’t have any degrees in her acting (can we say that??)… She always have the same voice, the same gestures, the same tone, the same caracter…. How cannot she realize she sucks in movies????? I hope Marley and HNTIY will bomb, so the distributors will finally realize she sucks, and will stop giving her roles!!! There are plenty of more talented actresses and it’s just isn’t fair the someone like JA still has work, while others haves troubles finding a role!!!!
So, she should stop acting like her life is good, because, cleary it’s not (private life and professionnal life)

Brad was so cute on Oprah I was never a fan but I am now he was a sweetheart. I can tell he was so happy. I loved the vomit story it was hilarious. Just love him now. He and Angie are so happy. To bad JJ didn’t put up a blog for Brad on the Oprah show. A whole lot of bias junk’s going on here. Too bad it will not help Jen’s dog movie.

She, who says Ange is uncool on the cover of a mag, and praises ex-husband Brad wants to empower women.. She who disses a cool chic flick like SITC wants women to feel empowered.. Interesting.
What better way to make a monumental fool of yourself than to try (in vain) to emulate the trademark pout and feisty attitude of the woman your ex ran off with? She’s obviously going for the ‘confidant, tough girl who knows what she wants and how to get it’ image as evidenced by this latest pic as well as comments such as the one about ‘empowered women’ and the ‘“trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man” - about being dumped by the fame sucking, parasitic, ***** boy - Mayor. By the way, does he really p!ss on his girlfriends? :-/

I wonder if Aniston watched Oprah yesterday and started fuming at how much Oprah loved Brad’s movie and really pumped it up, compared to what she did for Jen’s dog movie. I watched the show and she didn’t seem all too excited about it, calling it cute and great for dog lovers. But man she was really hyping COBB speaking about how fascinating it was, it was a really great movie, and so on. I haven’t seen her gush over a movie like that in a while.
Also, it was funny how she showed a timeline of Brad and not once was Aniston mentioned or shown in any of the photos.
Oh, and I must mention did everyone see the over zealous Brad fan I think Brad was a little creeped out about her. It was funny, yet embarrassing for her at least.
