Scope out Rihanna’s new commercial for Gucci!
Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has said, “I wanted Rihanna on board with this project because she’s so young, so modern, and so iconic.”
Rihanna adds, “I have always been a fan of the Gucci brand and the products, especially their handbags. But most of all, I’m very very intrigued by what they’re doing with UNICEF. As an artist, I feel like it’s our duty to make it a better place if we can. I’m blown away by what UNICEF has been able to accomplish in Africa with the money that Gucci has donated to them. I’m very fortunate to be part of this wonderful collaboration.”
25% of all handbag proceeds from the “Tattoo Heart Collection” will benefit UNICEF.

I wouldn’t agree with the tranny-comments posted here, but I have to say I’m not too fond of the commercial or ad campaign. Rihanna’s arm muscle movement just makes her look like she’s twitching around, and I’m really not a fan of the outfit. In general, I don’t understand the styling of this campaign. Reminds me of Scarlett Johansson’s unfortunate pink ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. What a disappointment.

I like Rihanna but I’m not crazy about her. She lost alot of my love back in ‘06 when I heard her perform live for the first time. It was horrible. I though she was murdering a chipmunk. But I will give her her dues she has improved a lot with her live singing. She still isn’t good but she’s not worse then Cassie anymore. And she hasn’t been booed since the VMAs or maybe it was the AMAs.
She’s partly respondsible for the 80s comeback so that annoys me but she’s no where near ugly. I think she’s had to go so far off the fashion/style deep end to distinguish herself from being yet another Beyonce look-a-like, along with the West Indian factor (giving her fashion sense and anything goes out there flair) as over-exposed as both Beyonce and Rhianna are, Rhianna is the one you want see what she’ll be wearing next.
