Here are some great soundbites from Britney Spears’s upcoming MTV documentary, Britney: For the Record, premiering next Sunday, Nov. 30 @ 10PM ET/PT. Via EW:
On Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline (whom she refers to as “my babies’ daddy”): “With Justin, he was a part of the magnitude of what I had become. So when he was gone I was like, What am I supposed to do with myself? I was devastated [by the breakup] but I handled it a lot better than the [split] with Kevin….He started to do an album for himself and he started to do things for himself, and I just never saw him anymore….When it ended I felt so alone. I didn’t really wanna think about the reality of it. I never faced it….I just ran.”
On recovering from her 2007 meltdown: “My trust has really been battered….Sometimes it can get kinda lonely….I had totally lost my way. I lost focus. I lost myself. I let certain people into my life that were just bad people…because I was lonely….I really paid the consequences for that. Big time….What the hell was I thinking?”
On fame: “At first, it’s amazing, the first year or two, because it’s like, I’m a celebrity!….It didn’t really touch me until I had been working for six years….I wanted to just stop. I wanted to create a new life.”
On the current state of her life: “Do I know my life is weird? It’s all I’ve ever known. I don’t see it as being weird….I’m kind of stuck in this place and I’m like, How do you deal? I just cope with it every day….It’s better not to feel anything at all and have hope than to feel the other way….It’s bad. I’m sad.” She breaks down into tears. Later, she complains that her life is too in control these days: “It’s like Groundhog Day every day. It’s really boring….Normal is really different for everybody….In my situation, I try to make it as normal as possible for me….It could be a lot worse. There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do….I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I’m not anymore.”

n it stop until 2003 ..
where she just trying ridiculous thing to stay at the top of the the tabloid cover…
it’s just disgusting, being crazy..

first after losing all her persona in tabloid
she paid paparazi to take her pic in the saloon n go bald, then blame them..

she paid MTV to give her 5 award including the EMA
plus a big show n other packet that including to make a mega comeback…
all of her song is mostly about the problem with paparazi that she made herself..
she just care bout her own persona n will do everything to keep her as the most searching woman in the internet….
so don’t be fooled by her own mistake.. she know it well enough.. she is a famewhore..
n after this album sales she will redo it into the next level of publicity
that will make her fans crazy for moreeeeeeee… never ending story..
u know what will make u a legend britney..

Its pretty sick how mean/evil some of you ‘people’ can be. Imagin you were her, and then comment.
Everything she says is very bi-polar like. Blaming others, the lost feelings, the feeling of being overwhelmed, the wanting attention, but then pushing people away. She will never be 100%.
Okay. To #6, you don’t know what kind of impact Paparazzi can do to your life. I’m not surprised she blamed them. I mean, look at all the cutest celebrity couples. The reason they stay in the dark is because of paps. They keep it secret for privacy. They do it cos they’re smart. They know relationships in front of the camera never last. I mean, look at Zanessa. They’ve been going strong for years and they were only 18 when it began. You can’t really blame Britney for hating paparazzi. Practically everyone with a heart does. And I totally agree about the photo shop thing. She looks like Drew Barrymore in that photo when she was still blonde.
How is she fake? She breaks down into tears in the interview and that’s fake? The paparazzi DID do this to her. When you think about it, what has she done that’s SO crazy? Britney seems to be a very loving, kind-hearted person, and when people who are sensitive are so incredibly famous, it will get to them emotionally. I feel bad for her because she wants to live her life normally when she is not on stage (i.e., not having 100’s of paps surrounding her when she wants to go to dinner), but she still wants to be an entertainer. I just pray that she will find peace and happiness in her life. She deserves her beautiful children, and she deserves to be happy and live like a normal 26 yr old. Can’t wait for her tour!
I think it’s really funny when people use language such as “n” to start a sentence, and “u cd sucks”–hahaha. So uneducated, and, by the way, her CD is wonderful. Best one since Blackout. All the songs are very different and original, and her voice sounds the best it has on any album. Why are her fans crazy??? LOL. People, stop carrying all this hatred in your heart, and, please, GET A CLUE.

Although I feel bad for her in some ways, she is such a complaining, whining excuse for a human being.
She has financial security while millions struggle with the economy tanking and paying for simple needed items like food.
She has a job while hundreds of thousands of hard working folks are being laid off.
She has family that care about her (as dysfunctional as they are) while hundreds of thousands do not.
She has money for food for her kids, while a lot of the kids in this world starve.
Her kids have a father that has taken care of them in times of her trouble while millions of kids don’t have a dad or have an absent father.
So yeah, it is kind of hard to feel sorry for the ***** who complains because she is bored. Give me that boredom any day.
Totally agree with #30. I am apalled by the insenstive comments here. Put yourself in her shoes and then tell us whether her comments were “fake.” She is telling like it is as ridiculously sad as her life sounds right now. I really hope that she’ll find normalcy. Maybe the best way for her to become right is to move to some small town for a few years. It’s not healthy living in L.A. when she’s like this. OR make some good friends. i really hope her all the best.
She does seem very kind-hearted and sensitive to what the media has said about her. I hpoe to finds herself again, because she seems to have lost herself, most definitely.

the paparazzi didn’t do this to her, WE DID. the people who go on these celebrity websites, which buy the pictures from the paparazzi. thats why they take them. for money. to sell to these websites. so we can see them.
if these sites and the tabloid trashy magazines didn’t exist then the paparazzi problem wouldn’t be NEARLY as bad as it is.
