Madonna is Frilly and Feathery
Madonna works out a green feathery frock by Louis Vuitton at a dinner to celebrate Gucci’s launch of the Tattoo Heart Collection at New York City’s Plaza Hotel on Wednesday.
At the event, the 50-year-old Material mom met up with Gucci creative director Frida Giannini and Rihanna, who is the the global representative of the 2008 Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF.
Madonna has been busy performing like crazy on her Sticky & Sweet concert tour.

Her hair and makeup look good but other than that I feel like she just walked out of a tree!
Not sure about the outfit ( but no one but Madonna could have pulled it up) but she looks amazingly beautiful. Divorce suits her well.

I like the shoes and stockings. I also agree that the makeup and hair look great. But the dress??? It’s one of the ugliest things I’ve ever seen, but I have to admit that it’s interesting to look at. If she wore some simple black cocktail dress, we would all be like “Boring!” So, keep wearing the ugly stuff Madonna, and giving us something to talk about.

AGREE ” LILLY “….Madonna’s hair and make-up are great, BUT, that just ” mowed the lawn while wearing sticky tape look “, is dreadful….She could be a Christmas tree, if she had hung some bright colored balls and blinking lights on herself……Better yet, just hang the dress from a pole, and use it for a Christmas tree….That way you could get multiple uses from it….Don’t forget the evergreen scent!!!

The plastic surgery she’s had done on her face looks good indeed. But I don’t understand why people here say that she pulled that look off. That has to be one of the most hideous dresses I’ve seen, and it’s not flattering on anyone, except Kermit the Frog or Wilma Flinstone.

Totally ugly dress, but MUCH better than that revolting outfit she dances around in for her concerts.
Ugly - ugly - ugly dress. She needs to remember she 50 years old. This look might have worked for her in 1987? Actually , don’t know anyone who would look good in this dress. Sexy sophistication at age 50 is the way to go when she’s not on stage. This dress just makes one think she’s trying to look younger than she is and that just makes her look pathetic.

I agree with what everyone said, great hair and make-up and the shoes. I’m not too fond of the dress, it’s a little crazy, but Madonna worked it. And finally! She looks like a lady and not some robot. At least we can all look forward to the Louie Vuitton ads (her face looks stunning for 50!)

Yeah, the dress is weird, but I’m glad to see her in it. People, Madonna has always worn out-there outfits, except the last few years when she was married to boring Guy Ritchie. I hope the old M is back! The good: the color is magnificent on her and brings out her beautiful green eyes; LOVE the jewelry; and her hair, skin, and makeup are awesome. I really think there are more pluses than minuses on this one.
Thought when I first saw the picture it was Gwen Stefani. Madge actaully looks less then freaky in these pictures, though the construction of the dress keeps her bizarre.
