Eric Bana is Nero — NEW POSTER!
Check out these new theatrical teaser posters for Star Trek featuring Eric Bana as Romulan villain Nero, Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura (a human from the United States of Africa), Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk and Zachary Quinto as half-Vulcan science officer Spock.
Paramount will continue promoting this film at warp speed. Newly launched: A full-scale promotional tour nearly six months before its May 8 release.
Star Trek was directed by J.J. Abrams (Felicity, Alias Lost, and most recently, Fringe).

One hot Romulan. Don’t forget to show the poster of Dr. McCoy played by Karl Urban, He looks a lot like the original McCoy.

WTF??? The really screwed up this one…he doesn’t look one bit like a romulan. And what’s the deal with the “Eeeeeeevil” tattooo??? Man the are overdoing him, just like that stupid Darth Maul from Star Wars…

romulans? evidently somebody didn’t watch the first year of star trek. nobody knew what romulans looked like even though they had been at war with them and they were shocked when they found out they looked like vulcans.
Wasn’t the first face to face encounter Star Fleet and the Federation ever had with the Romulans supposedly depicted in The Balance of Terror in season 1 of original Trek? How are they going to throw down with Bana then be surprised by the Romulans’ appearance years later? This could introduce some major continuity gaffs unless it turns out to be a time travel story or everyone forgets it or something. Maybe future Kirk will fix it.

Don’t know what to think about this film yet. Still too early to tell. Wish for the life of me I could think of where I know Eric Bana from, but I’m just losing track of pop culture recently I guess…
