OlderLeonardo DiCaprio & Zac Efron: Let’s Go Lakers!
Zac Efron and Leonardo DiCaprio sit next to each other as they watch the Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Denver Nuggets, 104-90, at Staples Center on Friday in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old teen heartthrob and 34-year-old former teen heartthrob sat next to each other and shared many laughs together throughout the night. Look. They’re even folding their hands the same way! Seems like Leo passed on the teen hearthrob crown to Zac tonight!
Maybe Leo worships Zac after all.
Last month, Zac talked about transitioning from poster boy to Oscar contender. He said, “I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers. They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous.”
Looks like Zac got his wish!
Also sitting next to Leo was Entourage star Kevin Connolly.

So glad to see Zac realizing his dream and hanging out with Leo. He must have been so nervous and excited at the same time.
I think Leo would be a good mentor for him when it comes to choice of roles. Hopefully, he’ll steer clear of Disney.
I think the heartthrob crown has been passed on to the Twilight Star and the JB. All that’s left is for the screaming fans to follow suit so Zac can start building up a fan base that has real respect for him.
Leo got smaller to get better and Zac needs to follow suit.
Leonardo is just one of the best actors of his generation, no matter how he looks today (btw I still think he’s really hot!)
And you can’t just deny it! I mean he got Oscar nomination and come on guys, Titanic still is n°1 movie so….
Zac has made a great start with HSM which is quite good and Hairspray so let’s hope he’ll make the right decisions and will have a great career as well.
And remember -> all you ask from an actor is to be talented and not the sexiest person on earth!

@JustJared: Please stop telling that Leo whorships Zac. That’s ludicrous. Leo is a succesful and respected actor and he works in the business since more than a decade now. Why should he worship someone who still has to find his way. If at all, it looks more to me like Zac is whorhipping Leo.

I have seen pics of Leo and Bar together recently on a different site but whatever. By the way I also liked him more with Giselle, they were cute together.
I think you will find that as of right now, Zac is more famous than Leo. HSM is a huge global franchise, and he is the main star.
Zac has the talent to go far, he is a triple threat, hot and is such a nice guy to boot. NO one is saying hes the next Leo, Leo is who he is, and Zac is unique too. Leo is no longer a hearthrob, but Zac is, get over it. From what i’ve read from Leo, he was glad to pass on that torch. He is no doubt a great actor, but hes not perfect, nor is Zac. I suggest if you don’t like Zac, shut up and move along, he has millions of fans world wide who love him.
Not to mention that Leo obviously looks like he was having a good time, as does Zac. Theres no reason to get all pathetic just becuase they sat next to each other. Some of you people are so childish, Zac has class, and so do his fans, not like some of you Leo fans appear. I’m so happy that he got to meet Leo, and indeed Kevin, he looks so happy, like a kid at christmas, love him.
I somehow think these guys got these tickets through the GQ event the other night. It seems too coincidental that they’d all be sitting there together.
How can people even compare Zac and Leo’s looks? One is much older than the other. Leo was nothing special as a teen. Sorry, he looked like a babyface, and he was WAY beyond scrawny. But he’s matured and looks MUCH better with age.
Zac looks much better at this age than Leo did. He’s got a more mature face than Leo had, and he’s got a bod…….Leo NEVER had that going for him. Leo can’t dance or sing either. So let’s give Zac some credit here. He’s done pretty damn well for a few films, and you’ll definitely see him working on his acting chops with his coming work.
