Country singer hottie Taylor Swift (in Collette Dinnigan, shoes by Christian Louboutin and jewelry by Neil Lane) arrives for the 2008 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Jimmy Kimmel returns for the fifth time as host for the two-hour show. Expected performances include: Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Kanye West, the Jonas Brothers, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, New Kids on the Block, Coldplay, Leona Lewis, Alicia Keys, Sarah McLachlan, Taylor Swift, Pink, Ne-Yo and Annie Lennox.

p.s. did anyone else just see her performance - i was crying! HATE to keep dragging it on but just one little comment, i think that may have been directed towards a certain jonas brother… wish he wasn’t such a jerk! oh but i do love them both!
yeah i agree…she need to change her fashion/makeup.hairstyling team…cause she has the same look even on her downtime… whats up with that??? considering they are paying them big money.
As someone with naturally curly hair I just wanna say it take one hour and 30 minutes to straighten hair.

her performance was AMAZING! u culd see it was hard for her and thats probz cuz of the whole joe thing, even the song wasnt written directly for him. but omf it was amazing. she sounded great. and when she won i almost cried! i LVE taylor swift. she comes across more as a friend as opposed to a celebrity. she is so relatable. so i was SOOOOOOO happy when she won!

DUDE SHE WAS TOTALLY LIPSYNCING!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOO OBVIIIII…I was really disappointed
no she did not lipsync, she was emphasizing her words… and then sometimes you can hear her running out of breathe…she even added two words to the song that wasn’t in the album…you can really tell she gave everything to the song…it was intense especially the glares and the pointing towards joe.

I thought her performance was boring.
the recorded feed was not in synch with Taylors lips and it happened on a few other preformers too.

She was not lip-singing. My husband did sound for the AMAs this year and Taylor was one of only a few performers that did not lip-sing. You would be surprised if you knew who actually did.
There is nothing wrong with Taylor’s hair. As a girl with naturally curly hair it is finally great to see a celebrity embrace her naturally curly hair and work it anywhere either on the red carpet or her downtime. She does not try to conform to the straight hair everybody else has.
