OlderBritney Spears Covers Rolling Stone
Britney Spears takes the December 11 cover of Rolling Stone, out Friday. Here are some preview quotes via USA Today:
Brit feeling like an old fart: “I feel like an old person now. I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night, and I don’t go out or anything.”
Her manager Larry Rudolph on his expectations: “This is going to be the album that cements her legend status.”
Rolling Stone on getting Brit for their cover feature: “[Interviewing the star was a] rigorously micromanaged process.We were never left alone together, and my questions had to be submitted ahead of time for approval.”
Brit gets to go on dates, supervised by her assistant, Brett, and Rudolph’s colleague, Adam Leber: “Right when we got there, we just knew it was just bad. He looked like an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier. … So I had to get dessert first. And the other date I had, the guy was really, really tall and a lot older. … We’re trying to ask him questions, like, ‘OK, you’re into martial arts, so what kind of martial arts are you into?’ And he was like, ‘Oh, all kinds.’ … But you know how silly we are, so we were just cracking up.”
On her two sons Sean and Jayden: “Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they’re such special people… [But they] are starting to learn words like ’stupid,’ and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn’t get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids.”
Britney turns 27 on Dec. 2, the same day her album, Circus, hits stores.

Whether we like it or not, Britney’s still relevant. People are still interested, and I for one will buy what she’s selling. I’ve been rooting for her the whole way!
Though I’m a little worried this comeback is too much too soon, seems like it’s happening whether she’s ready or not.
OWWWW…I will say this very honestly…I never thought she was that HOT as people say…But I am sooo happy for her…Yes, her life may not be a fairy tale, and she might not be that happy about how things have turned around…but, WHAT A COMEBACK…and I mean that not only, professionally, just look at the girl…yes she is pretty, but perhaps most importantly…SHE LOOKS HEALTHY…and that beyond all things is what we should all be happy about it in the first place…God Bless you Brit…wish u the best

Anyone who reads this and says “yay, Britney’s back” must have really bad reading comprehension skills. It’s awful that she is unable to answer questions on her own without her management’s approval and that she is being coddled like a child. If she is too sick to take care of herself or her children then maybe it is too soon to put her back out there. It’s sad that neither her team nor her fans are willing to allow her to get better. I guess as long as she puts out a good video and goes on tour, who gives a cr*p about her mental health.

Ok sometimes you let words slip around kids. But I am sorry if he has full custody of those kids and she only has visitations . . .I kinda believe Britney. Even if Kevin is not dropping those words, I am sure he has friends around that may do so. I appreciate that she is honest and is trying make things better for herself. It must be hard for her. No one can fully understand what she goes through on a daily basis and under public fire all the time. I am sure she is trying to be a great mom, the media should give her a break, and critique her career, not her personal and parenting skills. She is human and it can not be easy seeing all your personal drama played out in public.
