Gwyneth Paltrow: Thanksgiving Is My Favorite Holiday!
Gwyneth Paltrow keeps her head down as she is picked up by a chauffeur-driven Mercedes from her London home on Monday.
In the 36-year-old actress’s latest GOOP newsletter, she shares, “Thanksgiving is, without a doubt, my favorite holiday. I love when everyone comes together and celebrates the idea of gratitude, something we all mean to do every day, but seem to lose sight of most of the time. I also love the cooking – the days of planning and chopping and basting. This year, I decided to work out three variations on the traditional meal: a big group, a small gathering and a cozy dinner for two… Turkey will always be the main event of Thanksgiving (at least in my house)…”

Everyone goes through bad hair days. I think she’s lovely and her thought on the 3 variations sounds great. It shows she even puts aside some one on one time with someone special:)

Does she have extensions in her hair? That would be odd considering how short is it, but it’s all knotty at the top, looks like it could be extesions. If not, what the heck did she do to get such knotty hair, was she out in 100mph winds or something?!?!?!

Her natural hair color is brown. She should stop bleaching her hair, it looks like it is heavily damaged and thinning, oh, and she never said she was natural blonde, I recalled reading an interview where she not only said the opposite, she actually described the ‘double process’ her colorist used to bleach it all the way out. Looking at that ever widening part, she needs to stop it. Give it a rest for a few months.
I don’t even like her, but she why so many hateful comments? She doesn’t look that bad. However, I do agree with her marriage. They are never together, it’s very odd.
I think she looks horrible. She’s managed to make Katie Holmes look good. Quite a feat!

No person, celebrity or otherwise, should go out with hair that unkempt. It’s a simple fact. Put it up in a pony tail at least! No shame in that! Even if you’re going to the hairdresser and your hair looks terrible anyway, put that hot mess up.

Anyone with a brain knows that curly hair is never that pretty if not fixed up. When you have curly hair that short, yes, it Tends to fro out like that. DUH.
GP is a natural blonde. She was born as a blonde and grew up as a blonde. Mostly everyone’s hair becomes darker as they age–again, common sense. Her roots may be darker than a lighter blonde, but her roots are more blonde than brunette. If anything, she is a dirty-blonde.

I don’t think it’s an issue of curly hair. Gwyneth’s hair looks more wavy than curly and I think it’s a grooming issue. My hair is slightly curlier than hers and it never looks that bad. As long as she washes and styles it, her hair should look just fine. If she goes without proper grooming, like in these photos, then the result isn’t so pretty. :-(
NUMBERS # 1 AND # 11….I think she went through a wind tunnel somewhere, or a small tornado in the parking lot….That is without a doubt, the WORSE her hair has looked……It looks as if she processed it herself and left the bleach on WAY to long…..She needs some serious help….
Can’t understand all the hate here. I think she looks great. OK, the hair is a disappointment, but any girl who looks that good in jeans and boots deserves to be cut some slack.

Not very flattering pictures. It’s definitely the hair. Bet poor Gwyneth would like these to disappear. She usually looks very attractive.
She is celebrating Thanksgiving because expat Americans all over the world do it with whatever ingredients they can get which remind them of home. She naturally has thick, slightly wavy, dirty blond hair which takes some effort to make look as smooth as it normally does. This is firsthand information- believe or disbelieve. You seem to be enjoying the debate, but the level of vitriol is astonishing- all because a woman didn’t comb her hair properly to get from her front door to the curb? Who cares? If you think that’s cause for divorce, you have serious problems and I pity your spouses. Save your hatred for war criminals like George Bush who took us into an illegal war in Iraq, instead of tracking and killing the actual perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks, spending money on education, healthcare, etc… Your jealousy of Gwyneth is so pathetic. Really. Get a life, because with every insult you throw, you only expose more deeply how much you want hers.
Hmm… not jealous at all. Just irritated that this faux intellectual continues to generate any pap interest at all when she’s a monotonous, boring actress and gratingly pretentious in her personal life.
Hilarious that this woman who constantly brags about being vegetarian now says it’s “all about the turkey”. HUH? Does she mean any of the preachy values she’s constantly trying to shove down the public’s throat?
As a vegetarian myself, I know you convert more people with humor and subtle comments than the heavy-handed self righteous approach she uses. And yes her hair looks hideous. She should be ashamed to go out of the house looking like that.

There’s nothing to be jealous of here. Gwyneth looks miserable and her hair looks terrible. I don’t think anyone covets that.
She hasn’t been preachy about her diet in years, and recently joked about how Mario Batali teased her for her puritanical food reputation, which she has since eased up on (especially after her second pregnancy). She toured Spain and ate basically everything put in front of her, as anyone who watched the PBS series could see for herself.
