Tom Cruise: Suri Won’t Wear Pants!
Valkyrie star Tom Cruise sat down last week with Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles.
On 2-year-old daughter Suri, Tom says she is a complete “girlie girl. She won’t wear pants.”
His wife Katie Holmes even tried! Tom added, Kate finally got her in jeans the other day. We put the pants on and walk away and the pants are off and the dress is on.”
“It was an incredible experience,” Tom says of filming in Germany with director Bryan Singer. “We filmed in actual homes where the Resistance met. It’s a very inspiring story that’s timeless.”
More of this interview will air tonight, November 24th, on ET.

Tom and Katie need to understand that she is only 2 years old and in those “terrible twos”. Now is not the time to let her get her way. If she needs to wear pants or stockings…….then, they need to be the parent and eventually she will wear them. I have a 4 year old granddaughter and she did the same thing when we was two. Her mom and dad did not make a big thing of it and if she needed to wear it- they put it back on. After awhile…..she just forgot about “not liking things on her legs”. A child does NOT know what’s best for them! Just because Suri is a “girlie girl” and doesn’t care for pants, that’s no excuse for Tom and Katie to allow her to get away with it when the weather is cold.
That’s why children have parents. To make the right decisions for them when they’d don’t know enough to make a good decision themselves.
And please don’t give me that it’s a harmless situation. Allowing a child to run around in a summer dress with nothing on her legs in COLD NEW YORK WEATHER is a poor decision to be blamed on Suri’s incapable and idiotic parents.

I have a niece who wants to wear dresses all the time too. BUT the difference is that her parents know when to be parents. She must wear pants when it is cold out or when the weather permits, a dress with leggings.

Any parent worth their salt would know this and dress their child properly for the weather. If Tom thinks he’s giving a good excuse, he’s very wrong. Those comments only serve to make his seem like a poor parent who allows a 2 year old to control a situation she is too young to control. Tom is desperately trying to plug his lame Valkyrie movie and the Suri sightings all probably all he has, he knows public interest in him personally is nil, people think he is weird. You only need to bring a dress out if there’s a special occasion to go to. Otherwise pack up all those dresses and put them away out of sight. In the morning lay out pants and tops for Suri and let her choose what she wants to wear. Kids love this. They feel they’re in control if they can pick what they wear. Having the dresses still there in the closet is no way to get her to wear pants.

While it’s fine to let kids dress the way they want, there is a LIMIT. As a parent you don’t let your kid freeze in a summer dress when it’s cold as hell outside. I have a feeling that this kid will be so spoiled when she grows up.

Well you better rally her fans. The play’s grosses are dropping fast. Down 7.3 percent this week with only 84% attendance. Average ticket price is dropping too. This is the third week the attendance has dropped. Looks like Katie’s fans are All My Sonned out.

I think the problem with Tom is he still thinks he is 25 and picks parts that are not appropriate for him. Unfortunately he doesn’t look very commanding and has kind of kid’s voice which is bad for films like Valkyrie. He just doesn’t have the presence or the voice to bring the lead role to life!

Yeah, I think the grosses on the play are dropping due to Katie. She brought people in, but couldn’t sustain the momentum. Saw the play two weeks ago and she was awful compared to the rest of the cast.
It is not a popular play in terms of subject matter. So Katie is doing her best to pimp out Suri to get interest going in ticket sales.
As many have said. No other celebrity pimps their kids out like this. Not Brangelina, not anyone else. Yes their kids are photographed, but they are not exposed daily like this. Even Princess Diana allowed her sons privacy. Katie is a total and complete moron for allowing this child to be photographed daily.
Here’s the deal: Lay out two pair of pants and two tops and say “Now Suri, would you rather wear the blue pants or the red pants? It’s you to you.” If she says she wants to wear a dress, simply say No. And say it like you mean it.

I have no idea if Katie reads these post , I doubt she would , she does seem quite busy. But she did say in an interview that she keeps up on whats said about her and her family in magazines and such , so who knows.

so I was flipping around last night and I heard “Exclusive, Tom Cruise Interview” on one of the tab rag shows. SO I tuned in, and theres tc talking about Suri and Katie…..and I’m thinking who are those people sitting next to him???? And after he talked about himself etc, the others chimed in and talked about how great he was and how intimidating it was to meet him blahblahBARF. And then I realized OH, this is the promo for the Nazi movie!!!
So, once again, instead of it being about the movie it’s about tom, his life suri, katie, how creative she is (apparently she MADE him a shirt!!!!)
He’ll never learn , so he’s destined to FAIL. He needs to do what Jolie did…INSIST that the interviews be about the movie NOT about her and her family/relationship with Brad.
This movie is SO critical for tc and UA, and it’s VERY clear to me that he is USING his family to promote this movie, when what he and everyone else involved should be doing is pushing this thing hard core, so they have a chance in h e l l of grossing more than 30-50 mil
