IMO-I think because Suri has never been put in pants or allowed to wear them (in public espically) before this”changing of the minds” by Tommy she just got used to just wearing dresses, SO!!! when DAD got asked how come no pants, yaddy yaddy ya…. she had to start wearin them and of course now doesnt want to (or so we are told by DAD whos excuse is she keeps takin them off…….)

I have a neice who likes dresses also, but she also is given pants to wear as well. She knows who is the bosses……..and they dont make excuses as to why she doesnt do something either…..

You only need to bring a dress out if there’s a special occasion to go to. Otherwise pack up all those dresses and put them away out of sight. In the morning lay out pants and tops for Suri and let her choose what she wants to wear. Kids love this. They feel they’re in control if they can pick what they wear. Having the dresses still there in the closet is no way to get her to wear pants.

While it’s fine to let kids dress the way they want, there is a LIMIT. As a parent you don’t let your kid freeze in a summer dress when it’s cold as hell outside. I have a feeling that this kid will be so spoiled when she grows up.

Here’s the deal: Lay out two pair of pants and two tops and say “Now Suri, would you rather wear the blue pants or the red pants? It’s you to you.” If she says she wants to wear a dress, simply say No. And say it like you mean it.

I think he actually meant…she was acting bratty. She’s too young to decide what to wear and if her parents don’t act like parents should….they will soon…have a real brat on their hands.

She’s also too young to ” make a choice”. Maybe at a later age…but, at age 2? Crazy. Just put on the pants already or whatever she should be wearing…not just what Suri wants.

Cripes! When my kids were 2…..they did not even think about what they were wearing. They just wore what I put on them. Period.

They need to stop treating her like they are “walking on egg shells”..she is just a two year old baby!
