Daniel Craig and girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell walk the red carpet together during the Quantum of Solace Premiere at Roppongi Hills on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.
The 40-year-old British actor reportedly wants the next Bond movie to be much steamier. Craig has heard complaints from fans that Bond’s bedroom antics haven’t been a focus of the new movies, so he has decided to push for the scenes. Craig said, “For Bond to jump in bed with ten women would contradict the whole things. But the next movie - everybody wants it so we’re going to have it.”
Quantum of Solace was No. 2 at the box office this past weekend with final ticket sales of $26.7 million, behind Twilight which brought in $69.6 million.

actually, daniel himself is not the “hollywood star type” - but he is an a-lister. i think the comments towards sats would be even more vicious if he was more “hollywood”. imho.

Daniel picked a woman that suits his needs. Maybe deep down inside he is an ordinary guy then just likes ordinary girls…..there is nothing wrong with that. In the end it’s his life and if he is happy with her tough one everyone

the kindest references they make about satsuki is that she is “beneath him, he can/should do much better, what does he see in that nothing of a girl, etc etc. it goes from there. as i said, i’ve never had the pleasure of meeting her so i can’t say if what these people are saying about satsuki is true or not. i will say that what i’ve been hearing is unkind. personally, i like to follow my grandmother’s advice “if you can’t say something nice about someone dont say anything at all”. there is no reason to hurt another person’s feelings.
if daniel craig wasn’t an actor i doubt he could even get a woman like satsuki or better - money and fame talk! except for his eyes he looks average - or as was said on comic relief like he works at car parts warehouse….

Second i’ve never thought of Satsuki as an ordinary plain jane, when you take time to really look at her she is beautiful. Not a conventional beauty but unique and exotic, very alluring. Plus if she is as intelligent, talented and a gorgeous person like Daniel say’s she is, then that makes her even more beautiful to me.
We are so used to seeing beauty air brushed and styled to an inch of it’s life that Satsuki seems like a breath of fresh air, she doesn’t try to be something she’s not, she’s someone you could relate too in a sense.
If you really look at pics of Daniel and Satsuki they look well suited. And lets face it if he was with a drop dead gorgeous super model type people would still tear that person down and pull them to pieces. I hope they do get married and stick two fingers up to all the haters and doubters.
Well that’s my final rant.

It’s a fact of the showbiz life..if you’re connected to a famous actor or what have you, you will get dumped on…look at some of the comments on Hugh Laurie’s wife…
I remember reading comments on a few places on Pierce Brosnan’s wife, they were horrible.
Then again, they are so far removed from our world, all the comments dont get to them, so why worry if they do.
As long as they make each other happy, surely that is all that matters.
Looking at his history, on average he has done 3 different dramatic roles per year over the last 15 years (combinations of film, TV and live theatre).
Being selfish, if Sats makes Daniel happy so that he is inspired to carry on working, then I hope she sticks around a lot longer. I wish both of them well.
maybe hugh laurie’s wife has decided to get a clue. she spent all that time time in england with the children; refusing to move to LA.. i read all the excuses she gave; the children’s schooling etc.etc. but what it sounded to me is that she thought that she could persuade hugh to move back home for good. didn’t work. he seems to love LA and intends to stay. if his wife, jo, wanted to save her marriage she had no choice but to move as well.
as for pierce brosnan’s wife, have you seen how heavy the poor girl is? now dont misunderstand, that’s no reason for all the insulting comments however she has the money to get a personal trainer, have healthy food delivered every day. yet, she still overweight. that’s what people cant understand. what is admirable is that pierce brosnan loves his wife and will not leave her.
as for satsuki and daniel, i give them another 3 to 4 years together. don’t ask me to explain why; it’s just a gut feeling i have.

i know a few other people who think this about daniel and satsuki…ive asked them why and they say the same thing..gut feeling..lets hope a child isn’t involved in another divorce..
could the gut feeling be because of dan’s history with his other gf? that lasted 7 years - so 3 to 4 more years for dan and sats would make it 7-8 years together… but sats might get the prize of marriage so maybe comparing the two relationships doesn’t really make sense…

my fathers friend, the psychologist, says that in his expierence couples who are going to break up usually do so in the 7th or 8th year of the relationship. if they survive into the 9th year intact, then the chances of the couple remaining together for good increase marketedly. i should say that a good deal of his practice is dedicated to marriage/couple counselling.

people who have met satsuki on several occasions; both business and social. as i’ve said; i have never met satsuki so i can’t say one way or the other. but it seems to me that if they can’t say anything nice about the girl they should they nothing at all. i’ve said as much to one or two of these people but they say “it’s a free country we can tell what we think, when we want”.

yeah, i ve heard that as well. but you know what it means nothing. not everyone likes to go out partying. as for satsuki not liking daniel to go out with friends without her; well she may still feel somewhat insecure about what he is doing when she’s not there. also; why shouldn’t she be included in his social outings. mind you, she should allow him to go out, once in awhile, alone wih the boys.
..and these people who have met Satsuki..how can they know from talking to her that she is a “goldigger” and “opportunistic”?
Satsuki must give that impression or say something that makes them feel that way unless those people have formed an opinion of her beforehand?
